They know their creations the best. It is Anandi's story . Already Writers /directors compromised enough with their story and in that process Anandi and Shiv's story has suffered.

Which could have been a wonderful jodi of Krishna Arjun (the idol given by the CM) in the form of Collector Shivraj Shekhar and Sarpanch Anandi working /fighting for the injustice in the society, pitting against each other for their professional differences yet maintaining a perfect personal relationship reduced to a family drama to give stoy for every one an we had to tolerate many nonsense. But just because the writers/directors are genius that was was watchable..

Anyways 8 years is a too long time for a show to run. definitely story will get exhausted. Still there was a touch of those creators and their creation Anandi.

They could run with a steady TRP till date so better instead of compromising any more on Anandi they quit and with them they end her story and start a new show.

But looks like channel/producers know very well what gives them the business, the brand Anandi and they are trying hard to keep it.

But unless creators are there channel, producers cant do any justice to the character Anandi. So better they end her character on a happy note

If that is a taunt to others who bash characters/actors/directors, then let me tell you whether to criticize/bash anyone or to sing praises is a personal choice.

You may come here or not, it is entirely up to you... but that does not mean others should not come here too if they have any objection about the way a character is portrayed.

They have full freedom to BASH CVs or characters if they want to.

I know, there is too much of moral policing going around.

If the story is gripping enough, has a properly sketched character graph for a young actor playing 3 or 4 times his/her age, has enough layers in the role to make it worth his/her while, I do not think an actor will mind.

But if the actor is going to be used in 2-minute flashes just for continuity with looks and character, without much contribution to the story, do not see where will be the motivation unless an actor is really hard up for work.

We hardly got to see Anandi post leap.
They just used the actress and the character to keep the viewers hooked.
But what did we get?

If a young woman is made to colour her hair grey and is asked to play a role which is double her age she should get substantial role which gives her a scope to perform and also brings out the best in the character.

If Anandi is to be there post leap it should be her journey and her battles her victories and defeats.
Anandi Vs Akheraj was completely diluted by giving footage to every other character.

If they don't want to show Anandi's story and still want to cling on to the character they might as well put her picture on the wall with a garland.

If the actor or actress is extremely competent, they can outshine even the leads. For that the role should have depth and history.

Sumitra played mother to Jagya and sometimes she looked as young and pretty as his wives.

Ira and Meenu would have looked fine even if they were paired opposite Siddharth Shukla.

Ultimately it is the actor's wish to play or take up the challenge.

Nowadays it is not easy to get youngish roles as there are too many out there.

Yes, the situation is unfair, especially for the females. That is why we are seeing fortyish women playing grandmas.

It is not the question of the age of the character or even look the character it is about what scope does that character give for the actor.
Why were Anandi's tracks hijacked post leap?
Why was her life and her search for her daughter not shown?

This is what has been done to the character who is actually the central protagnist of the show.

Sure they can't run a daily soap in just one story.

But where is the mother who got justice for her daughter?

Why Akheraj Vs Anandi diluted so much as to lose it's impact?

When Anandi and her daughter were the ones who suffered because of Akheraj why every one else was included in the track?

If they want to continue doing this to Anandi I'd rather see her garlanded picture.

Even mother children story is diluted with an excuse that the child needed to know Singh Parivar where is the need for that?

They don't want to tell Anandi's story and they don't have story for Singhs so they give Anandi's story to them

Then I don't really see what the actress should continue for?

Bollywoodlife article

Balika Vadhu is reportedly in a lot of turmoil. There is buzz that the show will go off air while some are hinting towards a leap. We got in touch with Toral Rasputra and he is what he has to say!

The actress says that she is yet to know whether the show will go in for a leap or not!

Balika Vadhu was one of the most successful shows for Colors. It enjoyed a run of eight years but TRPs have been falling in the past six months or so. There are also reports of a fall out between director Siddharth Sengupta and writers Gajra Kottary and Purnendu Shekhar, which is affecting the show. Many believe that the show has outrun its time and it is a good idea to shut shop.

Few days back we heard that Surekha Sikri (Dadisa) and Rajeshwari Sachdeva (Mangla) will quit the show. There was buzz that Toral will also bid adieu to the show. Soon after, news floated in that there will be a leap on the show and Toral who plays Anandi will be a part of the cast.

BollywoodLife got in touch with Toral who said, "I am hearing a lot of stories about the show from outside sources. However, we haven't heard anything about the leap from the makers so far. Whatever news I am getting is from industry gossip. I think the cast will get a clearer picture in two to three days time."

When we quizzed her about the talk of Vivian Dsena's new show Shakti replacing Balika Vadhu, she said, "I too have heard about it but I really don't know." However, the actress is clear about one thing. She won't age more than what she is presently on the show. "Anandi is much older than what I am in real life. I won't be comfortable growing older than this onscreen. It will be little odd," she signs off.

Hmm...it seems like Toral has more or less made up her mind on what to do if the show takes a time leap.

TFS.
At least she is clear on that issue.
But are they interested in showing Anandi the single mother story?

Otherwise there is absolutely no point in her staying on in the show.

Correct the TRPs started falling after they started showing Mangala doing things which a woman of her calibre will never do.

People were no fools to buy any crap they wanted to show to glorify the so-called lead... TRPs wre excellent during gopal's murder track, when mangala went to meet jagya alone and when akhiraj was arrested.

But by focusing on the unwanted and uninteresting drama of anandi hiding the truth from her daughter and making her appear like a victim when the real victims were nimboli and mangala, they ruined their own show... I feel they deserve the downfall.

TRPs started falling when after much hyped reunion they filled the episodes with Mangala and her manipulative ways.
They hit rock bottom when they sent Nandini back to Jhalra and when reunion finally happened that week when every show between 7 and 10 pm was hit by cricket fever BV managed to withstand that.

But what ever they don't seem to matter either to the channel or PH.They are planning on leap/extending the show.

While Dsa's character is ending like the way it should they don't seem to care enough for Mangala's character so they are ending it and now are busy fighting over shaping Anandi's story.

Wish they have given this much thought while penning the episodes and writing Anandi's story.

Can't blame Toral if she wants to quit. After staying on in the show to play a forty year old woman what did she get?
