I dont want to cry when BV ends. I want to smile and be happy.

I rather prefer Anandi living her happily ever after with Amol, Shivam, Nandini and NGO! Many women live such life and remain happy

Better to make your life lively on your own!! 😆

My god! How can one expect spouse can make life lively? Just the feeling that spouse is there is enough to lead a contented life. Even SRK wont be romantic and lively after a time. The novel Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy and another novel Gone with the wind illustrates certain truths of life.

Marriage is for companionship and there is no age barrier for it. In western world 40s is relatively young. And they dont consider themselves old even when they are in seventies. In India also people are changing. Now women are marrying after fulfilling their career ambitions and after they cross 35.With Shiv she got romance and love. With anant she will get companionship. Children will not depend on parents after certain age and they develop their own wings and fly away. It will be comfortable if there is someone when approaching old age.

In India, marriage is more than just companionship! It comes with a bag full of issues, relations and unnecessary adjustments! If Anandi is desperate for some companionship then she should marry Anant but if not, then a remarriage is not worth handling that bag which comes with marriage. It's better if she lives with her kids, be busy in her life and be just answerable to herself, not her husband and other 10 new relatives

Did I say spouse should make your life lively? 😲 Just that you said one can't depend on spouse to make life lively, my point was, then its better not to have spouse and make your life lively on your own. Anyways..

@bold that is individual perception. I feel more contended in being single.

Marriage to a boring man? In real life almost all are boring and uninteresting after the honeymoon period.

Life is not Mills and Boons stories.

Every person should cultivate some hobbies to make life interesting. One cant depend on spouse to make life lively.

One doesn't need a spouse to make life worth living or entertaining either.

Yes. One need not. But sometimes even a boring spouse is not such a bad idea. Anandi is lucky that she is surrounded by lots of people like Sarita, BH etc. She does not lack anything.

Loneliness and need for a companion etc will arise only when one focuses on himself/herself.
Anandi most of the time is busy thinking about others or thinking about how to solve the issues that are staring at her.Her mind is constantly occupied by all these things. She would never feel lonely even if she is alone.

I m just thinking of a scene - Anandi with her third husband Dr. Anant visiting her workplace Shivniketan and standing in front of second husband photo - what will be her dialogue to shiv's photo and what will be Dr. Anant reaction.

Anandi's shoes and mine are not of the same size so if I am in her shoes I will do things in my way since the feet are mine.
I probably would be cautious about revealing the truth to the children.

Would still like to include Mangala in Nandini's life but will definitely not go about using consensus approach but tell Mangala that she has to follow my way or take the high way.

If the handsome doctor falls in love it is his business I would rather be content with the memories of a happy life and be comfortable doing my own thing leading life on my own terms.
