I can't hear the dialogue properly, but what I understood was that Mangala thinking that so far what she did was for herself and Nimboli (she forgot that she helped Kamli, Urmi also and sympathise with Harkin also, helped a village woman in devi mukhauta also), and was not thinking about other villagers who will suffer if Ahera got electected. Correct me if I got it wrong. Her selfishness towards Nimboli is like any mother's selfishness towards her child. She didn't said she was selfish because she loved Nimboli (as some members want her to keep thinking of the girl's mother and not get attached to the girl). I don't think this (loving the child)is her weakness, but yes, she fears separation from Nimboli and for life of Nimboli.

damage has already been done . She started to think now just becoz she understood that after winning election Akheraj will kill N first.

The first damage is becoz A couldnt take the correct decision and becoz of that she lost her child and secondly M , whose possessiveness has made the little one suffer in that hell

With this introspection, she is broadening her horizon and will think for society more and if she can do that, it will be more commendable because she is doing this without education, money or support. It's another thing to do good for society with the backing of education, money and a strong support system, and altogether different thing to do so from a position of weak widow fighting and struggling for survival, without any support. Truly women empowerment if creatives can show that...

Introspection? Yes Mangala's thoughts have been shown in great detail. Why only Mangala? Thought process of every character except that of Anandi's has been shown in great detail.

Yes, so far Mangala's character is growing and at a good speed and I like that speed and turn of events.

If people cared enough about the character Anandi they would notice how she changed her ways of dealing with things.

The Anandi who used to give lectures before now tried to use practical examples to make a point.

The Anandi who almost died while trying to stop Jyothi's wedding made sure she called the police before she even went to stop Pooja's wedding. The Anandi who had a habit of rushing to help during rescue of that girl from child trafficking she made sure that she waited for the police as well as Shiv to come before she did anything.

All the lessons she learnt in life through her personal experience and by obesrving Singhs J and Dsa she tried to use those exeriences in Shekhar house esp when it came to handling rebel without a cause Sanchi.

All the lessons that life taught her and the short comings which made her life miserable she tried to eliminate those short comings in other girls' lives.

She tried to eliminate the conditions which make them vulnerable from her own experiences.

She learnt value of education and she tried to inculcate that in other girls.

She didn't operate to instill

fear but tried to free them of those fears.

People will see if they want to see or more importantly if they care enough to see.

Since people want to judge a character which has connected with people so well over the past seven years through her struggles compassion generosity taking initiatives in making a better life for people around her now is just judged by one issue.

Just the same way people want to hail Mangala is the saviour based on one issue.When the lady herself told how she lived only for herself and for that little girl and let her fears overtake the welfare of that girl but still people give excuses to her behaviour.

Aparna, we can go in round and circles to keep comparing A and M.

Mangala used the corruption, wickedness and weaknesses to her advantage. After Nimboli entered her life.

IIf police were honest, Mangala's life would have become difficult. They would have found out about balvivah and taken appropriate action. Police dishonesty helped Mangala a lot.

Firstly it was Mangla's strength that when she introspected she forgot to remember the good she has done with others but remembered only that she could not do more. How many ppl can do this ?

That has been told by us from the beginning. She saved Nimboli, loves her a lot but she does have those traits of being too possessive and blinded by love for Nimboli , the love which made the life of both Nimboli and herself a hell.
Her love did not make Nandini's life a hell instead she made it bearable for Nandini to live in that hell by showing unconditional love to that child when all others were either neglecting her or humiliating her.
Just becoz she cant come out of that , her insecurities prevented her to embrace a better life for herself and Nimboli.

Yes, she has her insecurities but when you spend 11 years for caring a girl, these insecurities are bound to happen. But she would not have bowed down before those insecurities if some one had made efforts to explain her that what kind of life N could have compared to what she had at that place.

Today writer's answered the question what N asked M , have you beaten Kundan for what he did to Urmi? And M didnt have an answer for that.

This is most laughable argument to demean Mangla. How Mangla could have beaten Kundan for doing what she did with Urmi when she herself gave consent for it and her parents to have no object with that.

Still she tried to intimidated Kundan and ahki for not treating Urmi brutally by her devi act when her other means failed.

With this she tried to explain Urmi too to not to bow down before Kundan's cruel use of her body.


We all know her background , But this is a character so telling about those traits are no sin. That is her character.

Anandi has her own faults which were criticized/bashed the most.

So why there is any comparison between Anandi and Mangala.

Most of times it is brought by Anandi fans , btw when so much is expected from Mangla then why not Anandi should be measured by the same standard?

Of course there is no comparison btw Anandi and Mangla , neither their capacity and limitations

Both are different. Both are good at heart but from the childhood A thinks for others too which is lacking in M

Mangla is good at heart ? 😲 It is a news for me.

And Mangla is not lacking in thinking about others, she thought of Kamli . Urmi and even a village woman and put her devi act to help her in spite of fear of it's overuse and thus her exposure which may cost her life.

And today also Kamli convinced her that she should not fear this and talk to Visa.

Good that she understood her weaknesses
Yes she understand her weakness and that is her strength.⭐️
