Blushing: Even if we accept the argument that AnSh have no proof of DB's intentions, how would that justify Anandi's action of keeping it a secret from the family? The two- trying to establish and prove the real motive, and letting the family know of DB's act--- are two different things.

DB could have made any excuse abt spitting out the laddoo? And Ansh could have done nothing?

What did DB say when she spat it out? Mein bal bal bach gayee? Meaning, thank god I'm saved. Saved from what? Getting pregnant? How can a Dc and a social worker believe this utter crap? Her demeanour, her guilty look, her pleading with them not to tell daddu, were all dead giveaways and yet the very sharp Dc gave her the benefit of the doubt?!

The argument that DB will say she didn't connect the laddo with A's weird behaviour makes no sense. Even if DB was a good person, she would have surely thought about why despite her giving A basm for good health, she was behaving so weirdly? wouldn't she have noticed the pattern of behaviour change soon after giving the laddoo? Wouldn't it have occurred her to stop the laddoos for a while?

In any household if a new medicine is being given to someone and that person starts behaving strangely, the suspicion would be on the medicine. Poor, darling DB goes on giving the drug without even wondering what caused it.

Anandi and Shiv are not keeping quiet about it as a DC and a social worker.

Of course A will not sit on it. She will do what she always does. Apologise to DB for hurting her.

Would the DC have behaved this way if he had caught an outsider in possession of drug? No way.

And btw it is a post facto justification that is being offered on A's behalf. Much before DB gave her any explanation, she told Shiv they will not expose her before the family. It was a decision already taken and her guilt or lack of it would have made no difference to that decision. So this business of no proof does not wash.

For A, saving her family is a priority and this is hardwired into her system. My rant is that this time she pre-decided to save a criminal and a potential killer.

Just a while ago, the forum had exploded in anger over KB folks not restraining Anoop and DB over their insensitive behaviour to Anandi. KB was called evil.

Today just because it is Anandi who is being indulgent with DB for whatever reason, she is being treated with kid gloves. I can't even imagine the anger if KB folks had been lenient with DB after knowing the she drugged A. There would have been calls to jail them.

There are Jagya defenders and Anandi defenders. But surely there must be some people who see faults on all sides?
