Had Anandi filed a case against J for bigamy, he would have gotten a good amount of Jail ki hawa by now..and bribing that court official by selling off his GRANDFATHER'S locket to quicken the procedure.. Corruption in its purest form, that too in official and legal matters..Did he get a jail sentence for bribing,? not a mere pandit BUT a court official? I reckon NO...

I said the thing about the Karma kick, and I wasn't talking about the rape but about the court case.

I think that the evidence are planted so that Sanchi can get her past mistakes and learn a lesson.

yeah . Still do . When a member said aptly that she had the mentality of a rapist herself i agreed fully . This does not mean i feel she deserves rape or is characterless . That was her character , a girl who stopped at NOTHING and was not moved even slightly by handicaps , abuse , rape . Unsympathetic to these causes was Saanchi for u , so i fail to understand why my observation caused such a stir . If the issue of date rape is gonna be used to call a cactus a rose , its wrong . BV is doing precisely that . Capitalising on the fact that thers a rage against rape the serial used date rape to gain sympathy for Saanchi .

But some things especially

indifference to abuse after actually seeing it

indifference to rape and blaming it on the woman

zero sympathy for a kid in a wheelchair and thinking of him as a bloody nuisance

zero sympathy for the uncle who was held captive for years and beaten daily horribly by the enemy , perhaps not given even food and water for thats what army captives get , regarding his return as another bloody nuisance

speak of her mind set . My one assumption which caused a stir was based on that , these were facts shown . They showed an unscruplous egoistic girl , much beyond the ordinary selfish and spoilt youth .

But in the eyes of law, she hasn't commited any specific crime, which can convict her to face jail or any legal action UNLIKE others...

Agree . Again , precisely my point . And thats what makes it so awful . Thats why i said Saurabh will get his dues , Saanchi won't ever .

Unfortunately TV does not make serials and fiction for sending positive message to public. Their only aim is drama,sensationalism and viewers and ratings. Bv is no exception. In mynopinion this whole rape scene in unnecessary.

I don't see any white washing of her character nor people who feel sympathetic towards her have forgotten what kind of a person she is and I think CVs are forcing her to see the way she behaved in the past while she gets justice for herself.

That is precisely Kabra was brought because he knows her past and knows what all she can do to get what she wants.Her journey to justice is not going to be easy and Saurabh the COBRA is much more dangerous than her and he will make sure with his lies and cheating things will get difficult for her.

Today Sanchi was made to cry for the mistake she did in considering Ankita a friend and she has alreay realised how nasty she had been to her friend Payal.

I am not sure that the rape is being glorified here. A lot of girls have to go through a lot - face counter accusations of being characterless and what not. Also there is no denying that there is corruption where test results are switched or hospital results disappear. Look at the case of the girl who accused Tarun Tejpal of sexual assault. There have been reports of her getting all kind of threats and her character is also being questioned. I am sure that girl is also not from an average family and that's why the case has reached where it has reached so far. So though Sanchi is a sister of a collector, they are showing how girls who report rape are treated, and how evidence can be destroyed.

They are also showing a payback for Sanchi and her family in what they did in case of Jagya. Jagya had only broken the engagement and had not done anything else to Sanchi. Yet Shekar family went with vengeance against him and Sanchi falsely accused him of many things. Sanchi and her mother Ira accused Ganga of using her wiles to attract guys. Well, Sumitra also did it. All three basically blamed Ganga though she was the victim of both physical and sexual abuse in her first marriage. Shiv was nasty to both Jagya and Anandi.

Now Sanchi's past is coming to haunt her. Though she was a victim of Saurabh, she is not being believed because of her own past of accusing another guy of ruining her life. So it is a story of "crying wolf" in Sanchi's case. Now somebody else's mother is going to accuse her of loose morals just as she and Ira accused Ganga. Just as they had no sympathy or empathy for Ganga, same would be the case for Sanchi.

Does Sanchi deserve rape? Absolutely not. And Saurabh should be punished. But I do hope that they are not going to turn this whole rape thing into a farce by first whitewashing Sanchi (who deserves to pay for her other crimes of trying to kill an infant and his mother) and then turning into a romantic angle where she and the elder Kabra brother would be a couple. Also I hope that they show family support helping Sanchi stand her ground and win her case rather than Anandi saving Sanchi single handedly.
