Its always difficult to accept replacements no matter you bring some legendary actors in place of not so good actors but still its difficult because viewers are so used to seeing a face as the face of the character for so long We attach ourselves with a character because of an actor .His Face reminds us of a particular character For example Shashank = Jagya , Siddharth = Shiv etc When you think of Jagya or Shiv you can only think of these two actors

When you bring replacement then work becomes twice on the creatives to get the replacement accepted for a particular character I am not fan of Toral neither i have been able to accept her as Anandi but I will say its all fault of cvs why she is still struggling to get accepted Instead of giving her right tracks they tried to get her accepted in wrong way . Anandi's unnecessary interference in JaGan story which irritated viewers more than admire her Cvs have failed to bring Anandi from her whom we loved

I usually don't accept replacements but Sargun is one replacement I was ready to give chance I really like Sriti and am a fan of Sriti Shashank's pair both are my fav but Sargun is also a competent actress and in my view if apart from Sriti I will choose any other actress to play Ganga is she because I have seen her playing a fiery yet soft , caring ,loving and child like innocent woman 's character before too and in my view she looks really good with Shashank Both look like a young beautiful couple but neither cvs gave her enough screen space In every episode two or three minutes scenes , track absolutely nonsense which makes you angry at Ganga , How Shashank Sargun will set chemistry ? For that you need screen space Two months have passed How many JaGan scenes we have ? Very less .In this way how the actors will set chemistry , how actress will bring out Ganga , how viewers will get connected with her ?

Cvs have no intention to get Sargun accepted . They are really not bothered about JaGan It looks like they are just completing the contract they have with actors Just give them few seconds scenes in every episode no need to give them anything potential Again Sanchi is up to destroy their godhbharai function ?what nonsense is this ?

I feel for a replacement to be accepted thoroughly he / she needs the following support;

- Maintaining the character sketch - Cvs have not maintained Anandi's strong and progressive character post AnSh marriage. Rather they have turned her into an aimless soul, making her look regressive and lost. Instead of evolving her with time, they have brought her to stand still.

For Ganga; the fiery, strong, sensitive and determined woman is lost long back. Who we have now is a replica of ex-bahu of Singhs.

- Chemistry with co-star - I find T's chemistry with Sid quite weak. I have never been after romance in the show, but earlier days of AnSh made people want to fall in love, while now it is just a scene or a gradual progress in the story. They don't leave me day dreaming.

Sargun's chemistry with Shashank has also not come out well. It feels disconnected.

- Story line - the show does not have any effective story line. Shiv's identity and Amol's adoption has not brought any connectivity with the character Anandi.

Ganga's stretchy pregnancy is boring and meaningless

- Actor's acting skills - Toral's acting is not up to the mark. Her expressions are similar for most kind of emotions. Be it shock, sadness, worries or happiness. Yes she has improved but still.

Sargun is fairly good actress, but can't bring out Ganga.

I feel a combination of the above has to be consistent for replacements to get acceptance. Rushed up tracks and loop holes in story will not bring out the impact.

Anandi is the best character in the show and Totral is playing perfectly that character by putting her soul in this character. Some time the partner , an actor is paired with , is exemplary and people love him to the extent that the other actor s contribution is neglected. Shiv s over popularity is affecting bv. We have so much put on our expectations that we always want other actors to perform brilliantly ... In other words one minor actor spoils the whole show... 😉
