For suppose i am a narrow minded viewer of BV who believes a true child is only blood related child and do not support adoption and now BV has to convince with this adoption track that adoption is indeed good and child's thinking has nothing to do with blood...i think BV has failed to convince me becoz
Shiv is still a Shekhar...he may not be Ira-Alok's child but he is still related to them

Alok has brought up his brother's child so somewhere Alok and Shiv still share same blood...he is still a family so no nig deal

Blood doesn't affect the upbringing of the child but here it did...Shiv is more like Chotima his real mom then Ira or Alok...in fact Shiv is even more close to Chotima and was able to feel more connected to her

Since Ira doesn't know that Shiv is actually Meenu's son she brought him like her own son...would she have been same if she would have know the truth?

Shiv has started feeling slightly disconnected with his family after knowing the truth...very obvious reaction and now he may feel more inclined towards Chotima as he knows she is his real mom...would after looking at all this i feel i should adopt a child or let anyone close to me adopt a child?

From drama's POV view this track was very good...superb acting by actors and good suspense too but if this track was made to justify AnSh's decision to adopt a kid don't think it was able to do it's job well...Shiv still remains a Shekhars and not some orphan like the kid AnSh will adopt...if Shiv would have later on been rejected by Ira he still has his own family to go to...both sides, Ira-Shiv and Alok-Meenu were jsutified with their actions and reactions.

Great point libsrocks... I too think that shiv being an "in-house" baby really doesn't help the cause of the adoption track that they wanted to show. If they want to show "dil ka rishta" is more important than "khoon ka rishta" or dna, then this track falls miserably flat on its face.
There is no comparison to anandi and shiv adopting baby girl anuja found thrown away in a trash can.

I agree with you.
This doesn't help spreading message about adoption at all.

The fact that Shiv turned out to be Meenu and Anop's son instead of Ira and Alok's son has diluted the message in a big way.

If Shiv turned out to be an orphan who was adopted by Shekhars and him coming to know about the truth exactly the way they have shown would have been so much more effective.

And it would have made a good material for a family drama too with him emotionally dissociating from his parents and him and his family hurting Ira's prejudice about apna khoon and paraya khoon coming out and she battling that feelings Sanchi's snobbish attitude making things worse and all these things would have made a good family drama and that too with Sanchi and Shiv with same upbringing but khoon different would have made a great story as well as had a message to convey.

Most people shy away from adopting because of this prejudice and through Shiv they could have shown a great message and the makers lost a great opportunity and a great story and not to mention the scope that would have provided the actors to convey these complex emotions specially Sid and Sonal Jha.

I feel both CVs and Anandi seem to have lost sense after AnSh's marriage
They both are too many mistakes
CVs by losing every golden oppurtunity to imporve their tracks and story and Anandi by speaking insensibly almost in all the tracks...even here it was Anandi who triggered this drama and made mess of things and in other tracks her job to mess up things more than needed has been quiet visible

Cheating on relationships... going against natural justice...are all acts of fraudulent conduct! No doubt !

@ libsrocks----Shiv still remains a Shekhars and not some orphan like the kid AnSh will adopt...if Shiv would have later on been rejected by Ira he still has his own family to go to...both sides, Ira-Shiv and Alok-Meenu were jsutified with their actions and reactions.

When in some difficulty... misunderstanding arises between the family members...the solution to the problem lies only in acknowledgement...not in confrontation !

In that friction filled fraction of a second...everybody tensed up and their unwillingness to make an effort..to realise the real impact of that immoral, but logically correct act...in which ...I think everybody is a gainer !! [ please don't bash me friends...have no energy to face all of your wrath !!!]

As you rightly said --- anyway...Shiv is Shekhar's family member...both choti -badi Maas' son ... what is their problem ?This high voltage drama is not necessary for this simple declaration !

For me it is a much ado about nothing !!!

I agree with u. As for the acting evrrybody did a fabulous job, But when it comes to the story this is not new. Cvs have already showed Basant and DS bond.

This is not an adoption msg track, afterall Shiv is a Shekhar still. Cvs maintaned the suspense well though letting a few clues of showing cm cry over her dead child
Viewers are more clever than cvs, who guessed this a long ago. Next time think and try something better cvs..

Yes, Shiv being Meenu's son doesn't offer anything to AnSh's adoption track😕. I don't understand the very purpose of this track now. I guess its just a drama sake melodrama.

Maybe Pasha being anoop and he returning now may have some more implications😕.

If they do not have a credible story they make their strongest characters to do the most insensible thing.
For example it was DS who forced Anandi to get married then it was Anandi who forced J to get remarried and then it was Anandi who opened the can of worms which was placed by Alok.
Anandi will only do what the CVs make her do or say.
If Shiv comes across as a good man it is because he is CVs creation too.

but aparna isn't it bad for their serial...what will happen to a serial if it's main character starts acting foolish and insensibly? 😲

this was a dampner! the point where shiv says all things have changed? how instead of mum dad it is like chacha chachi and many families do that give the kid to bro and sis ! this is not such a big deal i feel this is more of a dampner to the entire plot! they should have shown him to be an orphan and not meenu
