Come on! Does he believe Anandi so much that he'd start behaving this way or threaten Sarla?

He is not willing to believe Sarla when she claims she might have made a mistake. Why? Why can't he feel perhaps Anandi might be mistaken? Shekhars haven't even given him any sign to doubt others and believe only Anandi!

And Anandi is a strange being! Why lecturing Shiv to calm down and be normal with family now after disturbing him and creating a ruckus herself?

In fact I am going by what's naturally/usually the reaction in such cases and also by Shiv's own nature! People don't believe such things easily. In fact Shiv's personality seemed even more rational and going by only proofs or conclusions/deductions.

Even if Anandi was God in human form still I don't think anyone can believe things about one's parents like this.

i would have believed and would have tried to knwo the truth like shiv...don't generalize...how do you know how normal people behave?...we cannot have someone categorized in normal and abnormal behavior in such situations...reactions depends on person to person

Sarla remembers whatever Ira had said to her about her family and even her sarees yet she doesn't remember what kind of delivery Ira went through...Sarla was lying and it was very obvious from her face...anyone can make out it whereas Anandi was very confident with what she said...if you say Shiv should rather doubt Anandi's words then i would say he should doubt on hospital records since Anandi just said what she saw in the records...if Anandi is wrong that means records are wrong which means hospital authorities should be questioned for such mistakes

Anandi is doing the right thing...Shiv in his emotions is distancing himself from the present and as his wife and life partner she should make sure he comes to knwo the truth but not at the cost of his present relations...she didn't mean to create any ruckus...every relation is different...some marriages survive even after hundereds of truth hidden while some is based on sharing everything...AnSh relations is based on trust and they find it difficult to hide stuffs from each other but that doesn't mean it's nonsense...you are generalziing everything when i feel in this adoption track Shiv's reactions and AnSh's way of procedding is exactly the way we they should have looking at their personality and way their relationship works

Whatever anyone may say, I do not think any normal person would readily or so easily believe that his parents are not his own. You've been living with a family for 30 years and no one has ever even given a hint of being distant from you and they value you over everyone else then how can you trust a torn page and sulky face of wife?

We are making posts here because we know the truth. We have seen Alok and CM convo too. If we take away all that and only focus on what Shiv saw/heard then this is not sufficient to believe such a big thing about one's own self and family.

It's not going anywhere so from my side I end it here.

whatever i said i have not only tried to put myself in shiv's shoes but also see from his POV...from the view he would see such situation...i am not even taking in account that alok and CM knows the truth...i can say that some people may behave like shiv (maybe not distancing from family) becoz i myself have once almost gone thorugh such experience...it's actually very funny so don't get all serious and sorry about it...it happened to me in 9th std when my science teacher told me i can tell how he or she gets his/her blood group by mixing his father-mother combination...i tried it and i saw none of it was matching with my blood group i got teary that i was adopted...now i laugh at it but somehow i can feel how shiv must be feelings becoz such feelings had kind of haunted me too for few days before i forgot about it ...you can laugh at kiddish act becoz till now i don't know what i did was correct or not 😆...i quiet dumb at science

you find it hard to understand shiv... and I quite frankly find it hard to understand your pov.

But I am glad you started this dialogue. It has given great food for thought and really liked your anaysis.

I still believe that you are of a very scientific temperament and that is why you need proof of everything before you validate it. And maybe you are very independent-minded and an information gatherer.

And I think that someone like me -- I wouldn't say i am gullible -- but I just practice a sort of spiritual knowing -- connecting with my inner being -- trying to assess people and their motivations -- and sort of connecting the dots on my own even if there is no straight line visible. anandi's statement and the torn page would have been enough for me really. I also am not independent minded. I tend to rely on other people quite a bit, and I am not an information gatherer. I am more of a "scanner" .. I sort of just see the situation and form an overall opinion by looking at the people involved.

Different strokes for different folks. But this was fun -- very much appreciate your efforts 🤗

I liked the dialogue of shiv when he says "If ira knows the truth that he is adopted why will she discourage them to adopt their first child. Its double standards..He is trying to connect the dots"

Anyway will feel bad their real parents abondoned him and gave it to another family. Don't we want to know the actual truth behind the truth. Its just the starting of shiv thoughts. How can u be be nice and calm infront of the family after knowing the hospital records says he is not born to ira.
