So I would rather go with the first option as atleast there is no confusion of views.

Will Shiv rethink about adoption?? wouldn't want another child to go through the emotional dilemma that whom he considered as his flesh and blood are not his own -- at whatever age it is revealed..

phew -- have CVs taken up more than they can chew?? on paper the entire adoption track - the chain of events it may trigger sounds interesting and worth exploring -- big question - will they deliver..
