Apologies for not comprehending your post, but dare I say, I have not come across a single post in this thread which has elevated anyone to this " Mahan stature" ,the one cv's adore so much!

This is solely based on Shekhars' , beloved sasra of Anandi, for their inability to be rational and their constant negligence on the childish wimps of their ladli princess, Sanchi!

So after ages I get back to this serial and what mess they have made!

Finally the duplicity of the so-called educated Shekhars is out in open. They have never been rational about anything.

And now with accusing Jagya like this they have proven themselves to be hypocrites of the highest order.

Firstly the marriage was literally shoved down Jagya's throat, how can Ira forget her own veiled threats of being Anandi's sasural too . How can they not understand that they literally forced the Singhs' to accept this alliance. A proposal that was born out of Sanchi's obsession for Jagya.

Are they blind not to notice how it was always Sanchi begging and forcing herself on Jagya, right from her tacky tattoo to all the forced dates Ira made him go along with the tantrum queen.

And where the hell did he misbehaved with Jagya physically- the guy was sensible enough to shove aside a girl when she was literally throwing herself on him. Dadu , as a character has never shown a backbone or forthright. They conveniently forget how it was him who saved the dignity of the very same princess.

It was always Sanchi who used everybody to get her Jagya.

Ofcourse they are going to play " we did a favor" to you card, while smartly neglecting that it was the craziness and obsession of Sanchi which forced them to concede for this proposal. Anandi , once even tried bringing out the different of personalities , yet you all shut her down by chanting "Sanchi will change" sermons. Why the hell should a girl change herself to fit in a family, what a brat like her needs is a complete reboot of personality. They knew Singhs's were never going to refuse their virgin daughter and also with Anandi being their bahu. This fake superiority and delusions of being just has made them walk on everybody!

Shiv is a caricature now, if you , oh the great wise-man , if you knew about the changing strips of Jaggu then you should have put your foot down more firmly. Why did you never had a conversation with your own sister and tried convincing her how this all is a bad idea.

What is highly disappointing is the character of Anandi, her "devi complex" and baffling reaction at Jagya for once taking a firm stand on his own, has perhaps rendered her shocked beyond wits. Shouldn't she open her mouth and tell everyone how Jagya overheard the Sanchi conversation, the pandit bribe and should accept that it was always her interference which has caused this situation.

I by no means, can never fully accept a redeemed Jagya , but here I for once clap for him for taking the reins of his life in his own hands.!

And Time for Shekhars' to stop feeding the she-monster!

Shiv did explain saanchi that jagya is not a suitable guy for her as both of them are different and she cannot adjust to the jeytsar life and BH as for Jagya family comes first. She faked before shiv that she is changing her lifestyle for the sake of jagya family. When shiv will know the truth about saanchi real intentions he will not support his sister. I blame anandi for all this showdown of jagya infront of shekhars. Why didnt she open her mouth and tell shiv or shekhars about saanchi.

You know bacteria, especially bad bacteria, feeds on sugar. It's about time Shekhars, each and every one of them including Anandi mata and Hero, stopped feeding the bacteria called Saanchi anymore sugar. This mollycoddling and now the anxiety over how to tell the precious, delicate 'egg' this news has to stop. The band aid has to be ripped off. It's about time they fed her a dose of reality. What a family these Shekhars are. They are doing their daughter and sister a huge disservice. They have set her up for failure with all the coddling they have done. The woman doesn't know the meaning of the word no because they never taught her that. They did not prepare her for the real world where she will not always be everyone's laadli. Shame! Shame on them! Huge wake up call to parents. Whatever the gender, loving your child is one thing, but if you have a hand in spoiling them rotten then be prepared for everyone's hearts to be broken. Be prepared to see your child fail. Giving a child an entitlement complex is the worst thing a parent can do.

i feel her past or Jagdish's past r very very private things , not to be talked about or used as tools to hit below the belt by Ira or even Shiv

Ira constantly refers to he past and says Shiv could have got much better ...hitting below the belt

Shiv used her past and the dumping that was painful to her to hit Jagdish below the belt

I am very angry with Anandi in this track as she has not taken the side of truth and played diplomatic but i resent this as a woman

It was horribly insensitive of Shiv to refer to a raw wound of hers right in front of the family and her ex

its not even as if he and Jagya were having a conversation by themselves

its hi time Anandi is recognised as Anandi and not the dumped woman who some city prince redeemed

and its hi time Jagya is recognised for his worth ...a rich surgeoen ...as those who approach him with proposals do so knowing his past but conveniently use it as a tool to fling on his face when things don't go their way .

Thank you for wording this, I feel by this constant reference of mentioning Anandi as 2"The dump woman" both Ira and Shiv have inflicted severe wounds to her self-confidence. Where is the man who was supposedly besotted by Anandi, where is the super efficient IAS officer, who doesn't even have a sensibility to not harm the feelings of his wife. Anandi was doing pretty well for herself and was actually on path of becoming a person of power, if she was not married to this deluded Knight.

Sumitra and Ira are both cut from the same cloth, they wear the garb of being the just and fair sasumas when they want nothing but virgin and accomplished bahus. Serve them right , they have never made an effort to understand their kids yet walk around stomping their lives with their decisions!

Till now shiv never spoke about anandi past life or betrayal infront of jagya. Its just his anger that made him loose his patience. He never asked anandi or spoke about her past. He was just frustrated with Jagya dumping women and not understanding how it feels for a women to face the society and come out of the pain. Shiv understands how diffucult it was for anandi to love him back forgetting her painful past. No where he is demeaning his wife.

@Sheetsden- I appreciate the points you mentioned, but my point is as a brother Shiv should have tried making some effort reaching out to his own sister 1st, understood her feelings. And being an educated man should have made her and others understand , that changing ones' way of life is not by any means is a medium to own something or someone.
His constant reference to Jagya's past deeds in front of Anandi is insensitive.

Oh she will fail & be unhappy all her life Picasso...all those taunts at Jagya will come back and slap them on each of their cheeks. They talk abt Jagya ruining ppls lives? Sanchi will ruin THEIR lives. They curse him even tho he saved her? She will be a curse for them...a cancer, and she will never thrive or change, or learn...because her conscience seems dead...she has no remorse, she has nothing to pull her back from the lowest level which she has fallen to. For Jagya, his family was always an emotional factor for him, for them...he ultimately came back from the pits...and became a wonderful person...but Sanchi? She gives 2 $hits abt her family...including her over protective brothers.

Kools,
I also felt very bad for Anandi after a long time when Hero called her a dumped woman. Wah! What a Knight he turned out to be.

It's a shame that her existence is defined as 'dumped' by her husband and 'secondhand goods' by her MIL. Her individuality, her goodness, her qualifications her sanskaar are not remembered to define her. Only what bad happened to her is used as if she had any control over that. In an effort to demean J, Shiv demeaned his own wife. Whether intentionally or nt, it should nt have happened. Now everyone will view his wife with that same pitying, look. Is she not worthy of self respect and dignity?. What a Shame that the Knight committed such a faux pas.

Except yesterday can to tell where did shiv mentioned anandi past. He even asked Jagya before his engagement whether he was willing for this rista. People forget how much nonsense he had to take from singhs and jagya to get married to anandi. He loved anandi a lot and his patience paid him with a happy married life. Shiv excused a lot of times jagya faults as he thought he changed by nature and accepted the mistakes gracefully.

Where did i say he did it deliberately . Please see what i wrote . I clearly wrote that he did not do it purposefully . He did it in an attempt to insult the man who dumped his sister . But he knew about his past when he went with the proposal of his sister . Right now it was used not coz it served any purpose but only as a tool to hit below the belt . And in that attempt even his wife was dragged in and the botttomline was she WAS demeaned if one is sensitive enough to understand it and sensitivity WAS made an issue of in that episode.
