I don't sympathise with Shekhars - Page 23

I always thought initially that the Shekhar family was a bit of a turn off. Had no concrete reasons to base my dislike for them upon.

Since the Saanchi episodes have started, one by one all of them have revealed their true thought processes. Except CM, she seems the only sensible and sane one in the family.

Cant stand any of the remaining at the moment. 🤢

I am not glorifying Jagya in this thread.

Anandi kept quiet because she was DIL, new entry in the house and already gets shoes from Ira for trapping Shiv and for trying to control him and the entire family!
When she has little say in that house then how can you blame her?!

Yes after an age youngsters become uncontrollable but should family allow even others to be affected by their wild youngster? Is marriage a joke?

Sanchi loved him? Simply saying I love you is not deep love. Nor is getting anyone's name tattooed is love.
It was infatuation as Daddu had judged correctly.

And love should be from both sides. Jagya never told anyone that he also loved Sanchi. He could only cough up "Yeah I'll marry her" when he was asked.

Jagya said yes only under pressure and even you know that.

Yesterday also Shekhars were silent when Sanchi was barking mujh mein kya kami hai, look at my eyes, hair and face! 😲 Somebody should tell her that kami is not always about looks! Gun bhi toh kuch hote hain!

Their daughter cannot even handle herself. She throws tantrums, she can't handle rejection or disappointment, she gets impatient and violent. Such a person is not marriage material for anybody let alone Jagya! She is a threat to herself also!

Even in tonight's episode Shekhars returned to foolishness after a flash of wisdom.

First they were bashing Jagdish to console Sanchi. Ira started her "Usko haye lage gi jaap". Even Shiv got angry when Anandi was about to tell the truth.

It is GOOD and commendable that they heard Anandi and believed her instead of bashing her. 😊

It is nice that they trashed Sanchi even after her excuse that she was only doing naatak for friends.

Still their insistence to correct her wrong and hoping this alliance would go forth was foolish! How do they still think that Sanchi is ready for marriage? Or would make a good life partner for him? How do they not wonder even once what is true and what is naatak? Her nature till now and talks with friends or her bahu in making avatar for few months?

They shred their honewala damaad. How do they think he will forgive them easily?

Are they relieved that he did not say anything against Sanchi and hopefully did not tell Singhs anything?

They are thinking Jagdish will keep Sanchi happy. But do they think Sanchi can keep Jagdish happy?

I am disappointed with Shiv in precap. Why was he telling Anandi that it was on her to bring back Jagya and happiness of Sanchi was in her hands?

Now they want Anandi also to do damage control for Sanchi's blunders?

Do they still think Sanchi has maturity for marriage? Or she has respect for family and place she is marrying into?

They want to "tikao" their brat to Jagya and now expect everyone to excuse their daughter's tamasha?

The way Sanchi tried to accuse Anandi of filling Jagya's ears, still they did not get any hint of how much she had changed or not changed? The way she broke things did not tell them of her level of patience and maturity?

What about their opinion of "womaniser", divorcee, emotionless, mannerless and characterless Jagya now?!

@bold...i was exactly thinking the same after today's episode !
shekhars dont know what drama their daughter is playing under their nose.
well..whats wrong in asking anandi..she is afterall their daughter-in-law !
my arguments are very specific to the episode where jagya announced his decision ... & so the immediate outbursts of shekhars were justified ! things have apparently changed now...the story is moving quite fast 😉

Shekhars are in denial about their daughter. Every bad deed or ill manered rude arrogant behaviour

I think after seeing the girl's foolishness to go to the extent of insulting her in laws and laughing at her friends' jokes about her husband to be, Shekhars should have learnt how she is not ready for marriage.

Alok was right when he told Sanchi that Jagya did not love her. I had thought at least now one man's brain has lit up! Jagya indeed never loved her. He never visited or called her himself. He never reciprocated to her hugs and other gestures. He was always distanced. And he certainly doesn't love her in a way so to excuse or gloss over her bad behaviour as they do in their blind love!

I don't understand why they still don't realise that Jagya is tolerating Sanchi only because she is Anandi's SIL not because he also loves her!

Sanchi has gone crazy and saying "Main mar jaungi". That should tell them of her maturity level! That should be enough to convey to them that this is obsession, not love!

I am baffled at Anandi who is still wondering whether this roop of Sanchi is real or the one in restaurant was real! As if she doesn't know true nature of this girl from day one!

Right now Shekhars are just behaving like they'd get anything her daughter likes just to make her happy and reduce her tantrums. We'll trash Jagya for Sanchi's sake. Okay, later we'll collectively apologise to Jagya for Sanchi's sake!
What's this yo-yo?? How long can they continue like this or hope SaJa can continue like this?

If their girl feels pressurised by friends making fun of the family she is marrying into, then it means she herself has reservations about them and is not confident nor respectful of that family herself either, so she lets friends also make fun and indulges in that herself.

Kapde badal daale aur kitchen mein gayi aren't what constitute badlaav in a person. Do the experienced Shekhars still not realise that? 😲
