Why ganga is hated by many?? - Page 2

I don't know about others, but I love the way Ganga is portrayed, IMPERFECTIONS and all.

I love that she is not one dimensional like say for instance SHIV.

Cv's have shown us her SPIRIT, her MELANCHOLY, her despair, her HOPE, her LOVE, her FOCUS and her ASPIRATIONS. She has so many shades to her.

Why should she suddenly become all happy just because Rat is caught and she is divorced. She has been repeatedly raped physically, mentally and emotionally since childhood. The fact that she is moving on us a miracle and testimony in itself of her undying spirit.

Nobody in try to save her and rehabilitate her has thought of her psychological needs. Anand selfishly burdened her with taking care of Singhs. Anandi and Shiv are quick to want to save the world (read disadvantaged mahila's) but they go about it in a half asses way. What about counseling for these abused women?

Crying in front of Mannu is not going to damage him but make him a better man who is more empathetic towards women. He is going to learn that it is ok for a man to cry and it is better to let out feelings than bottle them up.

Ganga has never retorted back to Sumitra because she has more class and love for her benefactors. Thus same quality will stand her in good stead when Sumitrmas entire family will eventually give her the 'I told you so' speech.


I love Ganga, imperfections and all.

I like Ganga...at least she didn't cried for her good for nothing husband for so long to kill the crap out of us...she brought quiet some life in BH too...and i applaud her for her smartness and bravery 👏...she is indeed very strong...ganga did not stay in BH more than she was needed or told to...she was stopped and given responsibilities to take care of Haveli like she is the bahu...she kept her self respect and left the Haveli the moment she is now not needed...CV's have shown just one flaw in Ganga and that's her total dependence on Jagya...one can see she does not need Jagya or anyone else now as much as she needed before...Ganga could have been used as a perfect character to bring back BV essence in BV...she could ahve shown Anandi and Ganga bonding over their past as Anandi hepls her in her studies adn then Ganga becoming nurse and trying to make adjsut herself to her new lfe as single mother...but in the end CV's have an habit of showing women like some weak person who cannot survived without marriage more than an year...Anandi lost her indentity and is now nothing more than a bahu who is being used as communication tool and punch bag by her in-laws and same will happen with Ganga...i never thought i would say this but many other shows are giving better progressive message (even Ekta's)...in Jee Le Zara there was an awesome dialogue by Granny to main lead that ''we did not educated Prachi (some girl in the shw) to make her lose her sense in love'' 👏...i mean look how wonderful the dialogue is...can't someone in BV see and use sense

Bv is not giving any progressive messages. In real life people are lot more progressive.

I don't think Ganga is hated by many in forum or in serial. In serial Sumi is against her and Sanchi obviously (because she wanted to marry J and sees Ganga as a threat), otherwise no one in serial hates her. Forum people perhaps are disappointed with the way her character progressed - everybody liked her when she left her husband and fought for her child but some like myself feel disappointed when she was living off Singhs instead of trying to take up whatever employment she could get and try to become self dependent. Even in Singh household, she bonded mainly with J and fell in love too soon. Even the choice of profession was not hers - Jagya suggested to become a nurse and she agreed, without even thinking what she wants. And now they are showing that a woman cannot live alone and she must marry to become safe - I hate this message.

I don't think people in the forum hate her. I am just disappointed with writers for showing a woman can't stay alone. Hello not everyone who are widowed or divorced remarry. There are lot of women who raise the kids by themselves and live a better life without getting molested or raped. Yes, they do face lot of challenges just like any other woman. In yesterdays episode when Jagya told her that this all happened because she didn't take up the job in Jaipur, I was like 😲. Does it mean if she is in Jaipur she is safe. Creeps are everywhere.

Ganga was not even living all alone. Her child and an old servant was living with her, but they want to show that a woman must marry to be safe. Are all married woman safe - no molestation, rape etc. can happen to married women? Ganga fought bravely and I thought what they were showing with demonstration through Anandi-Shiv, was again shown in practical through Ganga, only to discover the message that Ganga has to marry to be safe😲 .

What is being shown is perfect . Strenght is not in not crying and bold dialogues but in actions and each action she has taken is strong

she ran away from abuse ...strong

she filed for divorce inspite of a rural mindset ...strong

she went to school ...strong

she went to Mangalore for nursing and is stepping in a new life ...strong as hell .

Now the objection is she cries and she should not do that

her crying makes her exactly the character CVs have in mind , someone trying to make a life , falling badly privately in love with her helper , not letting him know a thing and focussing on the goal as taught by him , vulnerable as a woman .

Simply love it and would hate it if she is turned into another Anandi coz then this story would lose its charm .

Jagya never meant in that direction What fault cvs shown of Ganga here decision taken in haste Haste makes waste She did not even bother to think properly about the job she got in Mangalore despite many warnings to her she rushed A person should keep his eyes , ears and brain open everywhere Ganga made a decision flowing in emotions rather than sense Jagya 's Jaipur job offer for her was secure she could take that or at least if she could not she could be careful Ganga has one big problem she is emotionally very vulnerable she ends up taking many decisions flowing in emotions This was present in her from the start Every person has a weakness Ganga has this weakness and women like Ganga always live alone in the world if cvs are showing her getting married and falling in love I don't know what crime they are doing These women also need companions as much as any other woman

o please where cvs are showing Ganga has to marry for being safe ?Are we talking about Balika Vadhu serial airing on colors or some other serial ????
