They show deliveries more realistically in American serials and they r all on prime time , family time

compared to that we need to improvise

even the just born babies r shown more realistically in American serials

they r not spruced up and covered up in white so soon

their eyes r shut

for a seventh month baby the baby was extraordnarily healthy

a seventh month baby needs to be rushed to incubator

i have no objections to Ganga doing the delivery coz midwives deliver babies in villages , its a fact .

I finally saw it. 😃

As a viewer I always watch these serials with a certain amount of awareness in the back of my mind that things will not be totally accurate. They don't have to be perfect representations of life. Dramatization is necessary.😊 To start with- comparing this with that delivery scene in 3 Idiots is wrong. I thought that scene made a complete spectacle of birth.🤪 Three comical characters, who had enough attributes to be admired anyway were pushed into this situation out of nowhere just to be made into superheroes. Moreover, out of the entire movie that was the one scene where suddenly everyone's acting hit the pits. Big time Bollywood actors looked like true idiots...no offense to anyone who's their fan. 😛

This scene was at least realistic and respectable in my opinion.👍🏼 I don't know why people get so bent out of shape over serials...some sound like this is life or death for them...if you are offended by its inaccuracies then write to the channel or the production house but don't make it such a miserable viewing experience for everyone else.

We cannot analyze this from the point of view of medical doctors...a lot goes into making TV serials and at some point we should kick everything aside an appreciate the finer moments...like the acting, like the cuteness quotient...like the symbolism. 😊

Before I get to the acting and drooling lol, I have to say that this is one episode I wouldn't be able to watch with my family. The topic of reproduction, graphic births etc are not welcome ones in my home...we watch shows to be entertained, not really to witness such things...so I watched it online and I'm glad it was all wrapped up in 1 episode. It was tasteful but still not something I would watch with my parents and just be totally chilled out abt.😕 Giving birth is painful...it is not pretty and don't let anyone fool you into thinking that it's a bed of roses and suddenly your baby is handed to you...

Next I wish that people would stop caring who delivered the baby and who didn't. Human beings have been reproducing for billions of years.😆..women have been giving birth via help of trained and untrained individuals for a long time. I read an article recently about a woman who gave birth in her bathroom...alone...😲..she did while squatting down on all fours...when worse comes to worse ...you need to do what you need to do...Ganga has experience, she's not a complete dimwit. She didn't do neurosurgery here. 😳

The only flaw I found glaring was that the baby came out clean...and very healthy...the first one they could help...lo😆l, I watched Twilight and the behind the scenes showed that the baby was covered with cream cheese and strawberry jelly for the birth scene 😃...they could have done that here...as for a healthy baby,. they couldn't risk it and bring a premature one...so you cant fault them there.

I thought the acting was flawless...even beautiful in some parts...Gehna acted more properly than Mona Singh did in 3 Idiots! Basant was too sweet...poor guy...the part with him praying was rly sweet.😳
👏 I felt like crying along with Gehna...I don't like watching births on screen in general...I hope BV stays away from in the future.🤔..it's not for the faint of heart...Hollywood has glamorized it and made it comical and now Bollywood is doing the same.

Sriti was extraordinary esp. when the baby was born and she looks at it.❤️ Those mote mote aansoon were so cute!😆 Gehna will forever be indebted to Ganga now...they'll have a special bond and now Ganga will have a special bond with the baby too...and Mannu has a new little itsy bitsy playmate.🤗

Shashank was mind blowing...wow in some parts it looked like Jagya's the one who's giving birth 🤪
😆He looked totally exhausted and of course rly gorgeous all drenched like that in the rain ...with wet hair..☺️He's so serious abt his work and so focused that poor Ganga who was rly hand on but became totally speechless whenever Dr Sa needed her to say "YES SIR!" got screamed at at least twice.😡..very well done. 😆I enjoyed that whole exchange. So it seems in the future, at times Ganga will stop communicating and Jagya will have to shake her and scream "Ganga! Meri baat ka jawab do!"😡 And then she'll come to her senses. I loved their phone convo but now I'm ready to see them together...in fact I'm desperate for their scenes now...Gehna's Princess with her bhai & future bhabhi Dr Sa's heartfelt congrats to Ganga on the phone was great but if it's done in person, you can imagine it'll have an even more beautiful effect...on Ganga...and us ☺️😉At least ek handshake toh banta hai boss between two people who just did a professional and personal duty...of bringing a life into the world.

Kya baat hai...JaGan are truly a unique couple...bringing lives into the world together...what a way for a future couple to bond...than through such an experience...abhi toh shaadi bhi nahin hui but already there's such coordination and cooperation between them..👏..Jagya guides and Ganga follows...he leads and she follows...he instructs and she obeys....I dunno who's luckier here...Ganga because she has a Jagya to lead her on the right path or Jagya bec. he has such an eager student? She's such a capable support system...these two will be able to accomplish anything which they put their mind to together in the future, that's for sure. they are definitely great partners and meant to be together...made for each other. ❤️

Thanks for update 😊The episode was very good i loved it The acting was awesome Shashank , Sriti , Satyajit Sharma, Nivedita were excellent in it 👏

Honestly i didn't find the episode OTT , unrealistic and very bad writing It was wisely handled The only blooper that i found was baby coming out neat and clean Pre mature baby cvs cannot arrange No one will give a premature baby for their serial They are suppose to make this baby pre mature Lets see what they do but rest to me it was very sensibly done

The objections This is copy past from three idiots Please watch the movie again This is no way copy paste from three idiots Three idiots was very very very filmy and nonsense something which can never happen in reality while BV was far more realistically handled than that nonsense

The objections on Jagaya being a MBBS here please if you are not a doctor then kindly don't comment wrongly i am a doctor i am happy to find 3 persons of my league here one a student two doctors Happy to meet same profession people 😉though our specialization might be different😊 An MBBS can do deliveries i have done when i was a only MBBS i have done several deliveries so why Jagaya cannot do it ?😕He knows all the process and is trained enough to do so in emergency cases so objection on him he cannot do this is wrong

The objections on Ganga doing this See she did not do any operation what she did any sensible person can do She didn't do everything by herself She did on guidelines of a doctor She did the work of a Dai ( midwife) here Providing emotional support to the mother as well as some massage to ease the delivery The delivery was very natural Ganga only provided the support to Gehna Jagaya was instructing her about different massages she can do ,telling her the process in simple words and also he was providing emotional support to Gehna Gehna needed emotional support the most because she lost hope in pain she is going to die otherwise her case was not so complicated here Baby was born with mother's strength mostly and Ganga picked her up If we are complaining how Ganga can do massages then she is a trainee nurse she knows the use of ice pack She knows very well how to to do massages with soft hands gently without any harm The senior nurse accompanying Jagaya said that Ganga has experience with 12 deliveries so she is not a layman here that we are objecting she cannot do this

The objections on scenario See the hospital was not without any staff a nurse was there What happened with nurse was only this she became nervous she might be a well qualified nurse but handling a thing all by themselves for the first time under pressure people become nervous Their hands start trembling Not all people are confident first time Ganga was nervous first too here but for Ganga Gehna is like her own aunt she over came her nervousness You can do anything to save life of your dear ones but same the inexperienced nurse could not do because she was seeing Gehna only as a case she is seeing all by herself for first time I don't think its OTT and How we are saying the nurse didn't do any work here ? She was the one to do preparations for delivery brought the necessary stuff without the instructions of even doctor because she knew what to do She didn't let the time to be wasted on other stuff she arranged for everything so what became OTT here ?

The hospital like this See they had thousands emergencies Those all were associated DVS hospital Those patients if were shifted in the hospital still Gehna's delivery a nurse would be doing and believe me it happens in Indian villages when epidemic spreads The few hospitals there are over filled with patients doctors are less than the number of patients and the teams sent there are also mostly not enough in number to cope with the situation Thats the negligence of the Government and here there is no special team arranged at all All is up to the DVS hospital staff so what what they are suppose to do ?The hospital scenario was realistically set i don't call it unreal They showed a bitter truth what happens in villages when an epidemic spreads The blame does not go on the doctors of DVS hospital No They deserve a salute for trying to handle everything in less resources They are lives saviors of many They did their best ⭐️👏but a slap should be given to the collector of Jaitser who is sleeping here and did not provide the doctors enough resources 👎🏼

Rest i don't think cvs crossed the line to show any embarrassing scene What was embarrassing here 😕your husband , mother , father , brother , sister does not know about all this 😕what was so embarrassing here i don't get it They showed it quite decently Three idiots one was embarrassing because of the language and the stuff they were using it was very very embarrassing but here what was embarrassing and awkward a mother in pain , A doctor whose voice was muted in between with BG music what instructions he is giving to Ganga and a woman picking up the baby she was not shown pulling it out she only picked it up They showed it quite decently what was channel changing here sorry i didn't get it if you think kids will take negative meaning out of it start imitating it then why watching this show with kids ?This is an adult show not show for kids

Personally i think there was nothing OTT or nonsense , total bloopery or very poor writing in all this This episode was very much wisely , sensibly and realistically handled everythinf makes sense Cvs didn't cross the line they showed everything very well

what you are saying is right The incubator part is necessary i hope they show it on monday otherwise it will be major blunder The baby need to be rushed to incubator as it is a pre mature baby I hope they show sense here don't show a miracle here In seven month a mature baby born😆

The baby chosen was very healthy they could have found some less healthy baby This baby is some months older not at all new born some days old baby would have been perfect and they needed not to reveal the baby to viewers so soon if they cannot show it in blood wrapped etc They could show the baby wrapped in white cloth later but here they made blooper so neat and clean baby does not come out of mother's womb😆

Pre mature baby they cannot arrange No one will give them that Here i will say Indian television serial creatives are not expert in graphic designing and make up experts as compared to Americans Americans change whole look of a normal baby and turn it into premature baby or some times the baby is not real its all their super expert graphic designing Here in this Indian serials are way behind even Bollywood is not so expert in it They need a lot much improvement in here if they could do so they won't make bloopers like this They will show a premature baby or a new born baby too

Never felt awkward, the doctors were all thoroughly professional. My husband had no issues either with me being attended to by a male doctor. It never occurred to us to ask for a female one even. 😕
The doctors were all respectful and treated me like a patient ... not like loosers getting to see a po*n show for free or something. 😆

well said here is an emergency situation Gehna went into premature labor pain Singhs should be waiting for lady doctor and go in search of lady doctor 😆or arrange for a special lady doctor for Gehna because doctors are their servants they will specially handle their case 😆

and there are so many male Gynaecologists They even teach gynaecology in medical colleges explaining all the process with pictures 😳if people start being so choosy in male or female then male gynaecologists should be banned i guess 😆 There are no separate classes for males and females when the study gynae They study it together Male gynaecologists are thoroughly professional and well mannered people not shameless losers 😆

and if Jagaya would be doing delivery of Gehna why it should be awkward odd? . Yes he is like her son so what ? He was there with her and because of someone her own helping her she could go in this process and successful delivery could happen because of his support to her When your own is near you to help you everything becomes easy for you otherwise it becomes very difficult Why it would be so odd if a doctor son helps in delivery of mother?

Yes they had to make Ganga a heroine again in Singhs's eyes. But they should have chosen some other way.

It is strange and unbelievable that educated, trained and professionally practising and experienced nurse was anxious whereas Ganga was unfazed in the delivery sequence! 12th pass and someone who has just observed proceedings for few months is handling situation better than professionals?

And no other qualified nurse was available to be brought out of staff quarters?

Jagya taught Ganga to use laptop just once. She learnt it so quickly? Wow!

Anyway, Gehna's baby was way too healthy for a newborn and that too a premature baby.

Another blooper was that baby was brought out all clean and clear upon delivery though babies are covered in blood when they come out!

It is good that they showed birth of a daughter. I hope her birth is as valued and celebrated as a son. I mean, her welcome should be no less than a son!

Married couples planning to have a child is natural but BV has been showing such scenes way too often and Shiv switching off the lights or pulling Anandi to the bed in such scenes is awkward to watch with family.

BV should practise restraint and remember that it is a prime time family show! We don't need detailed delivery scenes or SR or discussion of intimacy issues or family planning or fantasies of a perverted young girl about her crush on TV in an explicit and vivid manner!

We had to change channels through this episode! Very awkward to watch with family.

Skelpbun nothing is embarassing...what wrong if Saanchi fantasies about Jagya?...What's wrong if Shiv and Anandi are planning for kids and switching off lights and what's wrong with delivery scene?...Times have changed and people need to open up about such things...I think it's good CVs are showing that AnSh are planning for kids properly rather than Anandi suddenly getting pregnant which in real life make couples more nervous to deal with pregnancies...if we go according to BV timeline who knows how may times Jagya must have taught Ganga to use laptop...Saanchi is just fantasies about her crush...What's wrong in that?...In every serial it happens and so does in reality...she is having very decent and normal fantasies nothing vulgur about it...nowadays in every serials things like this are shown normally and viewers are accepting it positively...even CBSE has given a proper detailing about sex and reproduction in NCERT textbooks and 1000 of students read and learn them...BV is not made for kids and if you are talking about teenagers i feel 21st century teenagers have grown up and very open about such things...Indian peopleare very much in need to know that proper family planning is necessary and if getting pregnant and getting a child in this world is beautiful then why not the procedures involved in it?...sex and delivery are beautiful things...it's just our mentality which made it negative and vulgur

More on male obstetricians/gynaecologists - 😆
Even Princess Kate Middleton who delivered the newborn prince of UK last week, had a team of ALL MALE gynaecologists and obstetricians. You can google Marcus Setchell and Alan Farthing. Marcus Setchell is an elderly man and has been the Queen of England's gynaec surgeon for the last 40 years.
He only does consulting work now, and no actual surgery because of his age ... but he was guiding the chief doctor Alan Farthing. There were four other gynaecs in the room -- all male.
She never had any issues with six other men seeing her womany parts. 😆😆

Also, speaking of OTT stuff,
did anyone see the last episode of grey's anatomy -- where Dr. Meredith grey gave birth to her much awaited baby -- she had complications, and was a Dr. herself, and found that the only person in the room available was her intern - Dr. Ross.
So while in labour and undergoing painful contractions - she gave him verbal instructions on how to do the C-section (because until then he had only been training as a neurosurgeon) -- and he kept doing whatever she told him to -- and delivered a healthy baby boy.
How come nobody ever criticizes that stuff as being OTT? I found that scene hilarious.
Particularly towards the end she says "listen very carefully, because I cant repeat myself. I will lose consciousness in five minutes" 🤣🤣
I think the Ganga scenes were far more realistic.

Thank you for update

Finally saw the episode Good one 😊 i didn't find it OTT it was a fairly realistic , fairly sensible episode 😊 I am not a doctor so won't go in deep medical details but this is fiction show more than seeing it with medical eyes kindly see it with normal viewers eyes Cvs are not doctors and i as an ordinary person as much as know i found the procedure correct the few minor things are not such big issue to criticize cvs so much 😕and people are remembering three idiots a lot For heaven's sake just because you found one distant vague similarity you made a fairly sensible scene copy of that utter nonsense scene Thats very OTT comparison 🤢and about filmy stuff This whole show is filmy This particular scene was not filmy that so many filmy objections are going on. Dramatization if Cvs won't then we will call every thing boring They do it for excitement only They didn't cross the line that people have to change channels 😲i watched the episode with my family and enjoyed it i didn't find anything like such i have to be embarrassed about so i don't know what people are talking about
================================================================

anyways what i have to do with others i enjoyed the episode very much Loved it Acting was superb Shashank was mindblowing and looking super handsome and drenched in rain again superb ☺️ Sriti Jha was too good 👏so were Satyajit and Nevidita 👏Acting by four of these was superb in the episode 👏

Doctor Sahab and his florance nightingale together brought in the world a life😃 Jagaya's sister 😃and Ganga 's future nanand 😉 can' t wait for the day when baby will call them bhaisaa and bhabhi saa 😉aww JaGan are the best together The baby is so cute🤗Congrats to Basant and Gehna 😃They have a baby daughter 😃Mannu and Nandu got a play mate 😃Doctor sahab in episode shouted at Ganga for replying late😆 aww our hot tempered Hot doctor sahab so sweet 😳.

Basant connected the dots and found out that Jagaya knew where Ganga is He found her but didn't tell them😆 I hope Jagaya stops them not to tell this Sumitra maa Under favor she will become OK now like when Ganga saved Gehna first but later she took 360 degree turn same she will do here again🤢

All in all i loved this episode 😊
