Makhan has been an institution in balika vadhu, as much as dadisa herself.
Yesterday his skull was broken open, does anyone have any future spoilers about makhan ?
Will be recover or is this the last of him?

Each ones life is EQUALLY important. It is so sad that the Singh's are giving lesser value to Makhan's life (as he seemed to have been dead already).

The next person seems to be gehna. It's okay for Makhan to die, Gehna to abort and die. Whatever it is...make sure they are saving Ganga(Rat won't kill Mannnu anyways) and keeping mom ,son together👏. Poor Ganga wants to come out of that box but is worried about the promise she made😭. Is she worried that DS will die if she breaks the promise...does she think she will save DS that way, if she stays hidden?👎🏼

I guess she will think for a long time and finally surrender just when J comes home. This way she will SACRIFICE her life to save the Singh's😭.

Sorry for going a little out of the topic. Just had to vent 😔

Hi samvi,
in traditional rajasthani cultures, "promises" made to elders are like promises made to God. It's like God cannot be in all places, so he appoints "representatives" in the form of elders at home, a boss at work, a doctor in the hospital, a sarpanch in a village, a teacher in a school etc.
Girls like Ganga, sumitra etc. are trained not to question/challenge authority of elders ... not necessarily in a subservient manner like cattle following each other blindly... but from a genuine sense of respect that elders because of their age and consequent experience have insights or strategies that youngsters may not understand.
In this situation, Ganga is torn between leaning on her own understanding and submitting to the understanding of dadisa.
At this point, Ganga knows that dadisa is going to tell ratan singh that she is not at home. So, if she suddenly rushes downstairs with manu, ratan singh is going to go more ballistic for being lied to.
Dadisa knows that if Ganga comes there with the child, it is highly unlikely that ratan singh will just take the child and leave. He will murder all the singhs as well and only leave then. The only reason the singhs are alive is because ratan singh wants to know her location. Knowledge of Ganga's whereabouts are the only bargaining chip they have with ratan singh.
and dadisa told her this before stuffing her into the box. 😆.
So the question is -- will giving over manu end the hostage situation with the singhs being alive?
if yes, she is happy to give manu over to save the singhs.
but if bringing manu out will result in the singhs all being executed one after the other, then she wont give him over.
ie will giving manu end the situation or will it worsen the situation?
That is Ganga's dilemma.

What I don't want to see at the end of this drama is that Ganga SACRIFICED. It ruins the entire meaning of a family's effort to save the needy. And the victim always remains as victim, instead of him/her turning strong, even after getting so much of love and support.

This situation could have well been prevented for it to reach this stage.
After J's attack, Singhs had to be more alert in terms of protection. How could they give off to all guards on one day without a back up plan? And Ganga also knows RAT very well, so why didn't she speak about the fact that she was possibly being chased at the temple?

Anyways, I only hope that Makhan is not dead and nothing happens to Gehna or her child. I am freaking worried for her even if it is just a drama. Pregnancies, abortions and miscarriages freak me out the most.

I don't know what should be the right call but if I were Ganga I would hide Mannu, come out and demand Ratan to release all against finding Mannu's location. I would then see what happens next with me, but would not want to put others in trouble for my safety's sake.

I don't think they will plan to bump off Makhan and have us stand by watching him bleed to death till Sunday.

The plan is to make them think she's not here and for them to go hunt elsewhere seems most sensible so far.

But thinking Mannu can be given up and his trauma taken care of later is hardly very sensitive either.

Now if he was looking for something of monetary value like a deed or a cashbox - I'd not think twice about handing it over to save Gehna and Makhan. But to give up one child to save another child sounds so heinous.

The true criminal here is Ratan. He ill-treated his wife n kid to the extent that they ran away and now he is willing to ill-treat others to get them back, and we KNOW that even if he gets them back - he's not going to improve his behaviour any.

I too keep my word if I am forced to make my promise to someone I respect n look upto. Ganga had no choice. She has to listen to DS and rely on her judgement - for better or for worse.

If - for argument's sake - Ganga hides Mannu and goes n says - in sab ko chhod do - I'll take you to Mannu - and Ratan says - NO - Go get me Mannu first otherwise I'll start killing them.

Then ?

Then Ratan wud proceed to first shoot Basant in the knee and say - want more, and then he can start taking them out one by one till Ganga buckles down and hands him Mannu.

Is this what you're looking for ? Woudl this classify as repaying gratitude ?
Is Mannu a piece of meat you'd throw to a mad dog whose entered your house and is hungry ?
Did Ganga ask for shelter here ? What does she have to repay these people for ? She did not beg for shelter. They CHOSE to take her in and rehabilitate her. She is now THEIR responsibility. She MUST abide by the rules set by the elders of this house.

The success of your suggestion would be contingent heavily upon Manu not crying when left alone. He really doesnt understand what is going on and thinks he is playing a game with his mother of hiding in a box.
If Ganga leaves him alone and goes downstairs, then there is every chance he will start screaming his lungs out. Then he will be found out. He is not an older child like Nandu etc. where he will understand what is going on or listen to instructions from mom.

Correct !!

It is also dependant upon Ratan agreeing to release everyone and go their own merry ways while MAnnu is yet to come in his hands.

Ratan will never agree to release anyone till he gets Mannu in his hands. And once he does - he may turn even more nasty for them lying to him.
