TOI recently reported on beautiful and vivacious Simone Singh's return to small screen after a long gap with Cinevistaas's upcoming show, tentatively titled as Daag for Star Plus.

Names like Simone Singh, Harsh Chhaya, Vatsal Seth, Pratyusha Bannerjee made headlines as they will play pivotal roles in the show, which is loosely based on Bollywood blockbuster 'KhoonBhari Mang'.

"Saptrishi Ghosh has been roped by the makers to essay an interesting cameo. Saptrishi will essay Chaudhary, a grey shaded businessman," informs source.

When contacted, Saptrishi confirmed, "Talks are on with the producers and if everything goes well, for the first time in my 15 years of TV career, I will be working with Cinevistaas."

They are leaving no stone unturned to have such a talented cast of actors in this show! But then again, how could they not? 😉

she has been roped against vatsal seth mean she is lead not vamp

Very doubtful, she is playing the lead role and as we all know the protagonist has to be relatable to the masses watching her. She will probably be the wronged woman considering they are basing the concept of the show on the movie Khoon Bhari Maang 😛

Very doubtful, she is playing the lead role and as we all know the protagonist has to be relatable to the masses watching her. She will probably be the wronged woman considering they are basing the concept of the show on the movie Khoon Bhari Maang 😛

very obvious she will be essaying the role of rekha
