I agree that that cvs are making on character pitch black and another a undeniable white. For our cv's all humans are either dead bad or solid good. No character exists with shades.Although i liked srithi as ganga but the way they are portraying her is making me sick. She is yet to divorce but is doing everything to impress and all over jagya. she didn't take time to heal at all. Which is very wrong. never jump into a relationship without a closure. All wrong decisions will be taken when we act in the moment of heat. let it cool down and then start off after clearing the mess of first. but here everything is going on top of that mess. The whole 2 years of Anandis tears is based on that. But BV CV's are toad heads. The mistake once jagya did is now being done by Ganga and we are happy with it😕

I accept ratan is very bad but still that relationship needs a closure especially when a kid is involved. Jump start of these relations will only entangle the custody of kid in wrong hands and also all kind of bad words will be used for Ganga when she jumps into jagya lap without her closure. Ganga is exactly doing what Ratan accused her. She is not even bothering what people would think once they find this out and I started wondering why she is not distancing herself from jagya even after she realized her feelings for him.

As much as i like their chemistry i hate the fact that two people who have no proper closure from their relationships having eye locks and near kiss scenes. I dont know if I am the only feeling like this but working with the people from years make me see even clear. Once Ratan will be able to prove that ganga is illmannered and he can provide for his son. law takes it course only seeing the benifits of child overlooking her motherly love and everything else.

@TM - very nice post. Agree with all your points. 👍🏼

I just cant accept that a homeless woman who had been abused and battered all her life can suddenly sing and dance and organise a party with expertise of an event manager.

in teepri case neither teepri is city girl nor sumitra is city girl both women r village women cvs also show difference between two village women teepri and sumitra .they show teepri jealous arrogant at that same time they show sumitra cool caring nature

by showing sanchi girl arrogant that does not mean cvs want to say all city girls r bad

yes saachi is rude ..to everyone whom she thinks she can't relate with them .when she realize that she is behaving rude with someone she will change and definitely accepts her bad manners .

she behaved badly with Dadisa and rectified it ..its just that she needs some time to realize.

I never highlighted only saachi here ..but on the whole Cv's showing the difference in subtle manner ..if you go though my conversation with other post you will get what i a trying to say 😃

But they could have brought in some strong characters as cameos.Neither Sanchi or Ashima are shining examples of products of urban upbringing despite their contrasting natures.

Probably they wanted people across the rural urban divide to connect with characters like Anandi Ganga and Phooli and did not want to deviate from their theme.

I agree they never tried to introduce a female character who is a city goer yet can be a pivotal part of the story. But I dont think if they did so they would have moved away from the theme.Rather I would have loved to see Ganga as a city girl than a village girl.Someone who came from a modern yet a high on values family and was interested in social service.Who considered Anandi as an idol and was working for the emancipation of BVs in city.Wud have been a wonderful connect.Being a strong willed educated reformist she wud have made J see the repercussions of Baal vivah thru the medium of her emancipation operations or NGO.Wud hv made him realize that how his family's support helped anandi grow which many girls dont get or how a husbands infidelity can spoil a girls life.Wud have been a home-coming trip for J. He really needed a very strong and righteous woman to reform. Not someone whose head over heels in love with him. Would have made him realize his mistakes and shown him the mirror. Also she would have motivated A to show her support for women on a larger scale.Wud have SO SO loved it.But then *i just wish*

Sorry for my out of context post above.

I agree comparisons are being done. Its only cv's fault of coating everything into black and white.Coming to Sachi i refuse of believe that such girl can exist in shekar family. NO WAY.
EDUCATION broadens ones perspective, knowledge. Not shrink them into pea size heads. In a family where a military person and collector exists there is no way an out of order girl like sachi exists.

And suffering and struggling will not always turn into a sacrificing sweet heart, in many cases such woman turn bitter in ways you cant imagine. They are tough to crack even for experienced consultants. They kind of live in their own made world and making them speak takes ages.

Unlike me my sister in law is born and brought up in city. She earns for the family and is very caring as well as daring. I am from a remote village and she respects me, helps me and we get on very well. I have many people back from my village who are cunning and bitter. Village people or City people they are always grey. when situation presented they will show their colour.

They can show anything but somehow they always end up comparing city girls and village girls and somehow undermining worth of city girls.

I am surprised how Ganga can take care of kid, do housework, study, be at hospital to train as nurse and also do extra things like making handmade gifts for Jagya and baking a cake by just learning its recipe??
While Gauri would get tired after night duties and operations and manage "only a sandwich" for herself and Jagya in Mumbai, Ashima and Sanchi were never seen in vicinity of a kitchen.

Invariably the right choice for an ideal DIL and wife is always a villager girl in BV.

I agree there were examples of flawed village girls like Teepri, Chanda (that was little Anandi's teen friend, no?), Sugna (when she got pregnant with Pratap's child before marriage).

But somehow the flaws and mistakes of village girls were sort of cloaked and blamed on "young age", "naivete", social evils and community's orthodox beliefs.

City girls are always bad or naive and have reasons like pampering and sheltered upbringing for such behaviour or lack of self regulation.

Among boys they balanced it by showing positive city bred guys like Mahi and Shiv, Shyam and Lal Singh who'd been to cities but never got swayed. Jagya is the only village guy who was shown flawed and more so when he was exposed to city life in youth.

But BV CVs have failed to keep a balance among city girls and village girls!

Shivani is an example but she was also an older and more mature woman.

What about girls? Do BV CVs only want to appease village ones? Do they want to imply city girls are mature only when they mature in biological age?

I am afraid they'll maul Ashima's character also in coming days.

Anyway, I wish they had shown love stories as it is instead of always bringing 2 girls and somehow doing a compare and contrast and choose drama!

Wow wow you summarized so beautifully ..the faults that Cv's are making 😃...

I agree with you each word in your post .even i am afraid they will butcher Ashima character in future ..the only good soul in the serial who came from Modern upbringing

I agree they could have made Ganga's character like the way you described.
But I guess they are bent on making Jagya chose someone like who Anandi was when he callously tossed her aside, a barely literate woman who had no means to support herself and helpless and more importantly whose world revolved around Jagya.

They made a big mistake by trying to make Ganga a mirror image of Anandi. It would have been so much better if Ganga had been allowed to be just herself and did her own things by taking Anandi and her life as an inspiration.

So far Anandi is living in Udaipur just like she was in Jaitsar. At least no visible difference was shown (including any adjustment problems), she wears the same clothes, same cooking, same concerns for Singh family etc. Similarly, Ganga has adjusted in Singh household because basically she has lived her life in similar situation. It is just that she is free from any insult etc. in Singh household. If Ganga was shown to adjusting in any city household and changing herself accordingly, then we could confidently say that Ganga can adjust herself in any circumustances.

Well that's a valid point ...That's how Cv's should differentiate the charterers...not bluntly showing one side of the coin ...

Loved your thoughts on Ganga 👏 👏...they are simply ignoring the facts that you have raised .
Totally shifted the track saving Ganga from rathan to Convert in to the race between two girls that who is capable of the jagiya's wife 😆 😆..

Though Jagiya don't have even a clue of what happening in his back..and frankly even jagiya is not ready for full fledged happy marriage ..he yet thinks about the moments with anandi..

yet he feels embarrassed when he listens about Anandi's honeymoon ...

In the name of innocence of ganga character they making her week and she has big barrier self esteem which always needs jagiya to boost her 🥱
