Nolla, dear, I see no change in her. Just because she got anandi married using manipulative methods, she doesnt become great nor can we say that she is 'changed'. She was and is still selfish.

you wrote in another post that she did it for love for Anandi... we all love our children and we want the best for our children. Does that mean we play foul with other people's children?

At least I cant support this unethical and immoral behaviour of a woman, no matter what age she is.

In stead of running around asking for maafi, she should be prepared to bear wth the fruits of the dirty seeds she has sown.

Without going into the debate about who is right and who is wrong, I can say that I liked today's episode. It was simple, nice and heart touching. I also became a little teary-eyed when DS asked for forgiveness. Surekhji as always was brilliant and very convincing in this role. I don't think Ira is bad at heart, she just gets swayed easily by Saanchi, so she will forgive DS soon. CVs gave us a message through this episode, that no one should use falsehood where relationships are at stake... it comes back to haunt people later in life.

Anyways, i hope CVs won't drag it any further by showing Ira angry with Anandi and her family for too long. On the other hand Ira should definitely question Saanchi for her changed and loving behavior to DS today. If she is a good mother, this strange and hypocritic behavior should not go unnoticed by her.

We have already seen Ira character in the show from past 6 to 8 months!You have seen her how she believed Saachi both the times.Yes both the times the truth came out ,only diff is how u present it to ur family but not breaking the family.Shiv and Mahi are raised by choti ma!u can see the diff right there.saachi is a mini Ira.

There is a famous saying,to know if a pot of rice is cooked or not u just need to check one grain!

Ira is a hurt but she doesn't have to forgive DS,but at least she can behave sensible and lied abt A.

If u say sekhar's to be strict,then that applies to Singhs too!how abt saachi behavior at the engagement?

DS's greatness lies in the fact that she proves that it is never too late to realise her mistakes and make amends for them and change her ways of thinking.

This is the same lady who was responsible for the death of Basant's first wife because she wanted pota from her.Now she is the same lady who is more concerned about the health of Basant's second wife than wanting another baby in the family and this times she hopes that it will be a girl child who she can bring her up.

She made a big blunder by chopping the wings of little Anandi just because she was found to be better than her ladesar and in eagerness to bring in equality in that relationship she curtailed Anandi's freedom and stripped her off all the rights she is entailed to.Then when she saw thta it was the consequence of her deeds which are being paid by Anandi she moved heaven and earth to rebuild the life of Anandi and to day Anandi's life is much more beautiful than what it would have been.

She turned Jagya into a spoilt brat by being overindulgant towards him.That resulted in Jagya ending up as a selfish immature young man who is not capable of maintaining and nurturing relationships.Now she is doing everything in her control to give him a relationship that will nurture him and support him.

DS is a strong lady who was widowed at very young age and left with two sons to fend for.This barely literate lady grew to be the most prominent and well respected woman in the village simply because of her hard work and standing up for what is right.

Her hard earned wealth and power have made her arrogant and made her look down on people who are less powerful than her.

She looked down on the family memebers of Sumi Gehna and Anandi and at the same time she went with folded hands to the in laws of Suguna.Because she belonged to patriarchal society.

She was product of circumstances and her surroundings.Her thoughts and actions were shaped by these two.But whenever she realised that she had been wrong or made to realise her mistakes she never ever blamed anybody she took responsibility for those mistakes and took steps to rectify them.That is one thing that should be learnt from her.Never blame anybody or never blame the circumstances for her mistakes.

Even in Ira and Urmidevi's instance - she never gave excuses for the wrong thing she did she just asked for forgiveness when she did not get it she only requested her not to punish Anandi for the mistake that she had made.

I don't know whether that makes her great or not but that definitely makes her human being who evolves into a better human being by realising the mistakes that she made.
