I agree with you! I can't believe that the well mannered, open minded, tolerant, patient, classy and straightforward Shekhars are being vilified or made to "understand" that twisted manipulative dokri whereas the shamless Singhs are being portrayed as innocent victims!

It's surprising how Shiv and Anandi's fault for not revealing truth to Shekhars is being put aside and rather they are telling Shekhars what to do and what not to!

What's Shiv's duty towards his family as a son? Is it not his responsibility to tackle situations with tact and also tell truth to family?

Just as he thinks Anandi's izzat is his izzat similarly his mom thinks her son's izzat is her izzat! She only reacted against the slandering of her son!

I think Shiv and Anandi and Singhs are taking Shekhars for granted.

Yeah Sanchi interferes a lot. Partly she has right to, because she is a doting sister who's possessive of her brother and wants nothing less than best for the family. But her choice of words and way of putting forth her points are really bad. She doesn't know how to talk.

I didn't understand what Shiv meant by rishte jodna! Ha! Manipulations and lies are Singhs' style of rishte jodna. What should Sanchi and Shekhars do to ensure they are not accused of rishte todna? Remain "yes men" no matter what?

CVs ki leela hai. As usual every family and everyone in the show has to be slave to Singhs and shameless Maaji Sa! Others even if right, should be called wrong and made to look like villains. Singhs even if wrong should be made to look like heroes or "poor victims".

I've forever said this show should be called Singh Parivaar ki kahani instead of Balika Vadhu. Chit bhi Singhs ki patt bhi Singhs ki! 🤢

Shiv is also a Singh now. Only his name remains to be officially changed to Shivraj Singh I guess! Blindly defending DS and rudely geting back at own mother.

Singhs are amazing! They make everyone forget their biological relations! First Anandi forgot her parents, then Gehna forgot her past, Shyam also forgot his parents' concerns, now Shiv is latest one to join their service.

I liked the first part the way Shiv defends Anandi. The second part after UD leaves, he pretty much ordered his family not to disrespect Anandi.. 😲 What was he thinking ? Is he in his office talking to his subordinates or in the living room of his home talking to his elders ? Ya.. he was angry at the way his mom spoke to his wife but still he should have talked and convinced in a better manner... His tone in this part made things worse for Ira and Anandi. No wonder Ira is hurt that he chose his wife over mom. There was no need for him to defend DS in front of his family. He could have told them that he was in love with Anandi and even if DS hadn't done this he would have not married anyone else other than Anandi.

The CVs have messed up this UD thing. It seems from the way UD was talking that the ristha was almost pakka and it broke only because of DS. Shiv's dialogues to UD also reflected the same.But, the way they have shown all this while that UD's daughter and Shiv had never met and it was still in the initial stages of proposal.

Just a timepass episode. This is what I had expected would happen. Shiv did tell that Anandis respect is his respect. The marriage is done. Now what can they do? At the most they can expect apology from Singh's. UD just made a fool of herself. Anandi just stood there crying, I guess she didn't know what to say.
One of the things I would like to point out is when the son makes it clear to his parents and siblings what he expects and how his wife is to be treated, the sensible folks will understand and try to work it out. Hoping Ira will come around and respects her son's decision.

I think its high time Anandi re-enters into her work life. In this savage world its only mother and mother only who can truly love you and feel for your pain...all other motherly relationships betray at the face of disaster.

This track turned out to be much more messy than I had expected. At first I was really confused as to what to make out of this track and what stand do I take.

But I have taken a stand somewhere and my views as follows:

Shiv was absolutely right in standing up for his wife but not right for his rude behaviour with his mom. Yes what Ira said to Anandi was hurtful, but isn't it Shiv who is more responsible by not revealing the truth before hand and then instead of considering family's emotions as well, he advises them on how his wife is to be treated. Is all izzat just for wife and none for mom / family?

Ira is made to look like a villian but isn't it a natural reaction from any mother after hearing the whole story (especially the way it was presented). If the same story was revelaed back then by DS & Shiv along with their apologies, Ira would have much cooler and considerate. Why doesn't Shiv realise that? I wouldn't blame Ira for disliking Anandi because Ira lost her faith immediately on Shiv, Anandi and Singhs. It will take way long for her to heal. Her feelings and emotions have been disrespected by Shiv, and she has been taken for granted.

And the biggest Culprit Dadisa gets scotfree: First she creates a mess, and then instead of apologising to Shekhars personally she puts the responsibilty on AnSh shoulders to handle the family. Wow!! And worse is that all Singhs endorse dadisa's actions instead of correcting her.

Saanchi: Right in her thoughts, I don't blame her for thinking wrong of Anandi but she needs to control her toungue.

For CVs: We don't really need a saas-bahu drama. We already know Anandi is agood bahu. In order to prove her better, please don't show Ira to be a bad saas. Ira is an excellent open minded saas, so please leverage on that beautiful characteristic and show her as a supporting saas to A.
