I like very much your way of discovering Shiv's romantic side. And this is based on scenario as well. It's true that Shiv was interested for that Sarpan ji girl from the 1^st moment, and later on ceremony, after that famous dance, he tried to be much close to her. And, of course she clearly showed that it's awkward to her. With whole body (that was P's capability), one moment not to afraid to be opened and friendly, and then correct, instant, honest reaction to something that not suits her.

Shiv is a rich guy,decorated family background, educated abroad, rigorous at work, but ! very smart. Reading so vivid scenes of him,it certainly causes a smile of approval.

And I think that would not be a clich: 1^st job in a small village,attracted by rural girl, hooked, and then became completely blind. Stubborn about accepting his choice based on his 'falling in love to death'. Not to forget, I appreciate that you didn't pay attention to his muscles. Bcoz, it helps, but it seems it's not the main issue of his character.

His dream (my pov):

If he is 'that smart guy CS', his dream would be male version of one of those 'our' Anandi's dreams. Bcoz Anandi is a partner for respect and a girl who is really worthy to love her and adore. A girl who does not need anyone to defend her, except when it comes to physical strength. A girl who shall calmly and steadily settle problems without shaking '6 plates'.

But if he is some frivolous guy who will be satisfied that the woman of his life is turning away from him, without real reason, successfully playing those, alike hide-and-seek games, capable for making bad jokes, very often behaving ignorant, fast adapting for sitting and chatting, well, then it would be 'one of those dreams' full of passion and 'heated eyes'.
