After months watched Balika Vadhu and think that the new Anandi aka Toral looks tooo old for Shiv and there's absolutely no chemistry between them. Acting wise the less said the better. Sad to see a good show dragging on for unknown reasons. The show should have gone off air after the earlier Anandi quit the show. Now the show seems very disconnected. It should go off air while some viewers are still watching rather waiting for nil viewership. Shiv and family's sugar coated behavior is a pain in the neck. The concept too has gone with the wind and is now like any other show. Sad indeed. The show was watchable till 1000 episodes and then started unnecessary dragging of episodes for TRPs which it anyway has now stopped generating. Many including me have stopped watching the show!

The show trp zoomed up after shiv entry even when IPL matches were going on. Before 1000 episodes for few months it was nonsense jagya Gauri anandi love traingle which was dragged like hell where jagya anandi faking as married coupe in Vadim haveli during holiday celebration was pathetic. After shiv entered lot of people liked the show and new members joined the show for the excellent chemistry btw anandi and shiv. At ast a person like shiv gave happiness to anandi. I too agree BV should have ended peacefully after ansh got married and jagya gauri redemption. But now that they want to show anandi married life and jagya 3rd marriage there r still loyal BV viewers who watch the show. Toral does not look old and she is 26 years old apt for anandi age. People got used to seeing younger actresses play the role so it might be hard to digest now. But she does not look older than shiv in any angle. Watch her in the HM promo and u will now it. It's my POV. There a so many like me and my friends on this forum who love ansh and are excited for their life. We don't care about trp if ansh r shown in the show.

You have done a great job by stop watching the show...it is very good for your health...but there are many ppl ho have some other POV just like me ...that is why we are watching it...Shiv is the most popular character of the show...we love ansh very much...no need of this kind of topic...so i requested to the modarator to close the topic as soon as possible.

This point of view about toral being old has been discussed ad-nauseam. We hear you, however many others have different view. Myself included. The first time I saw shiv, I thought he was too old for A and thought they are going in for a love Story with a older man. Hence the chaudhary song. I had some difficulty too accepting g toral, but anandi as a character overruled the actor.

It is your view, but there are others who watch it and like AnSh. So let them enjoy and we appreciate your decision about not watching. You also can pray every day for the show getting off air, and do it religiously. Some will be happy and for others like me it does not matter.

LOL! Predictable responses started coming. I think it would be very good for health of some people if they allowed others to put forth their POV too instead of crying wolf and calling to mods to close any thread that does not match their POV.

@TM - This topic has been discussed to death now. No wonder others call for immediate closure of such threads or deletion of such posts. I do agree the show should've gracefully ended earlier instead of dragging or introduction of other newer characters or replacements. But when milk is spilt it's spilt...no use discussing it. The show's steadily falling TRPs, shifting of focus to Jagya, Ganga, Sanchi and Singhs and only 5 mins of Anandi in recent episodes speak for themselves.
I am happy they are trying to show story of Ganga and her in laws to give some proper message about DV and battered women, instead of full focus on the face that plays Anandi now.
