@Skepbun: Jagya is now an adult, it will be difficult for parents to give gyaan to adult kids. Little kids only don't listen. 😃 The best thing Sumitra and Bhairav can do is to send Dr. Jagya to therapy or counseling.
Even I didn't like him hugging Ganga. Even if he is intoxicated, he clearly knew not to hug his mom or sister and say Anandi. Imagine if he had gone and hug some other village teen. He would have got nice beating right there. Since it was Ganga, he got lucky.

You have a valid point here. Dont know.why Jagya does silly things. Actually tausa and Shyam forced him to drink. After the hug,.Shyam vanished. Tausa said haveli men respect women. He didnt even open his mouth that he convinced Jagya to drink.

WOW! Quite a discussion going on about my not so favorite Jagia 😉 have not read all the pages but from 1st & last get the gist.

@ Red Apple I agree with you J should be sent for therapy or counseling. He is beyond Sumitra & BS now.

@Skepbun: Even I didn't like him hugging Ganga. But somebody should defend him na (after all he is the balak vaar 😉😆)... ...
My Lord here I am... I feel Jagia has himself not yet forgiven him. I have always said saying Sorry is not important but feeling sorry is very important!!
Forgiveness is a journey which J has just embarked on now. He is still stuck in the past so has not yet reached his... 'avenir' moment as the French call it 😛. I think by this unintentional hug 😉 the Cv's have opened the way for the holy river to flow flawlessly in J zone. 😛

All I can say is sure the hug was unexpected but it was unintentional too 😉 so was not a sin.😃
If you think it was a sin ...remember the prayer ... "forgive us our sins," 😳
Forgiveness is a way to unburden oneself from the constant pressure of rewriting or revisiting the past. It's a gesture towards the future. J was stuck in that if then else not forgiveness loop as he had not forgiven Gauri. But I think now gradually he is trying to accept the facts and face the future as we saw him going to Gauri for forgiveness.
So forgive his sins, as we forgive those who sin against us.😃

redapple it is wierd to do such type of things in holi but in my this is not inbuilt nature of jagya that he liked to do such things .he never give dirty looks to women though how much he was negative .as v know he used to remember anandi before also but he never do such thing with ganga ..and thats why bhairon said ki mera beta aisa kaam nahi karega kyonki aaj tuk jagya ne aisa ghatiya ka kaam kiya hi nahi .jagya ne yeh cheej pehli baar kiya isliye bs ki khuchh samajh mein nahi aaya ki woh kaise react karen yes if jagya do this mistake again then bhairon will sure scold jagya and today i feel ki ho sakta ho ki bs ds sumitra jagya ko samjhayen ki aage se woh aisa na kare

Thanks for the commentary on my post dear. Now please bles with with a proper reply or counter argument if you have one. I talked about characters and issues here whereas some Jaggi and Singh sympathisers seem hel bent on getting personal!

Looks like getting personal is a prerogative of J haters. Perhaps 'Jagya diwaani' or 'fanatical' are not personal mock to those protesting. And now go, mock and 'amuse' yourself that how 'sensitive/stung' non haters of J have become!
Looks like foul language too is J haters' prerogative. Get one slip and pounce on the character with foulest language and then, when viewers protest, apply a condescending apology, divert the issue to voluminous list of past and get your way 'critically'!
As for mock filled blesses and 'counter arguments' that you have requested, give me a proper, cogent comment relevant to ongoing theme on the character, and not ready pounces on one or two slips, all the while merrily tapping on the latent anger of a large majority out here, enlisting their support and overwhelm a minority who do want to see a 'four year long' fellow character properly closured, and then I will try to put 'counter argument' or any if I have 'one'. Till then it would be just a protest to such and alike, as your previous topic said,'burn Jagya burn'. You have a good majority here to cut loose on J and his sins.

Stuti,

That's not fair. Basically you've clubbed anyone who doesn't condone the hugging scene as a Jagya hater. Have you read my posts. I know you didn't like the use of the word rape used in any context. That's fine. That's your PoV. I happen to think that the word is not a cheap word but a very serious one and people should always be open to discussing it in whatever context. Yes, the act is abhorrent, but why should discussion be taboo under the pretext of calling it cheap. Remember the arguments about Rakhail/mistress. Don't you think this kind of exception to a word is ridiculous especially after the context was clearly explained. Anyway, it's my POV. I respect yours too. 😊

P.s. I did not use foul language in my posts either when I put forth my distaste for the scene. 😊

Parri,
This is unfair too. Why do you miss the qualifier "when" in my statement about 'cheap' usage? To check it out- self quoting the sentence here, " @ 'Rape' when leisurely used merely to buttress one's point, when no such act was even remotely comparable/intended in script- its cheap usage can not be justified in any context."
Here I clearly protested its 'opportunistic' usage. This propensity has bee noticed in other discussions too. And hence protest.
So where do you deduce that I oppose very discussion of this word? Brushing all 'serious' discussions about it under 'taboo' carpet and 'pretext of cheapness'?? Please see again. To repeat; 'Cheapness' is not alluded to the word or its discussion, its commented over its opportunistic, insistently 'contexted' usage.
As for clubbing, I am not.

@bold - Agree redapple! Sumi and Bhairon have passed this phase of knocking sense into their son's head. They never did that till now...so they won't be able to do it here after. I didn't expect a different reaction from them. All they can do is express disapproval over his act and make sure that Ganga is alright now. Jag and the whole Singh family should visit a psychologist. Saanchi should lead them all😆
