About sid's talent being wasted. I have to disagree...
He is one of the few male leads in all soap industry with a proper role.
Secondly its Jagya: though Jagya and Shiv should be in the same line... but because of hte negative shades of the character, I have to put Shiv before him.
Cause if I include the negative shade then a whole lot of male characters can be quoted as well who had extreme influence in the show.
. The third in my opinion who has a strong role is Naitik of Yeh ristha.
Then comes Asad of Qubool hai (he has a strong role)
usually most of the male leads take a back seat. LIke suraj, he is a supportive husband of Sandhya but no way is he strong in putting across whats right and whats wrong. (though I do like that show so no offense intended here)
Shiv has been a wonderful character and an extremely strong character introduced by the CVs in Balika Vadhu. Unlike many husbands who just sit back and give the driving wheel to their wife.. Shiv has helped Anandi find herself many many times. Been a support system and that is why we all love AnSh soo much.
Even though in past few days he has not been given much dialogues (that too I disagree cause he was the one who suggested to Anandi -to go and talk to jagya -again showing a very very mature (yet foolish) side of a husband) because of the replacement.
The audience is still trying to connect to T. That is why she is getting more screen space. Her connection to shekars, then singhs, then jagya and now back to shekar. Its necessary for proper story telling.
Ocne this is settled and it is settling.. Shiv will be back in action :)!!!!
just wait !
Exceptions to the female dominated shows are:
mahadev-for obvious reasons and ramayan again obvious reasons

anywayzz this is my humble pov no offense intended.
