Thanks for the responses everyone! Surely cleared the much foggy air for me! :D
Acha, one last (perhaps...) question: What is a zilla? I mean...okay I'm gonna sound like a complete idiot now..but a gaaon is a village, a sheher is a city, a desh is a country... LOL... so keeping those basic translations in mind, what is a zilla?
It's not that I don't understand the Hindi language...I speak Urdu at home..so I'm very much familiar with Hindi... but the term zilla is still "foreign" to me... initially I thought that zilla translates to district, but if Jaitsar is located in Jodhpur district, then how did it become a district itself?

village is a small place mostly comprising of 50-60 families
zilla/district is a group of such villages
small town is group of district
big town/city is places like jaipur
jaipur is a city but not as big as mumbai
udaipur is somewhat between small town and city...saanchi lives in hostel maybe because her house is very far from her college
like mumbai is divided into places like thane, colaba, panvel in the same way maybe udaipur is divided...the places is a part of same city but very far from each other
so maybe its the same case...if KB haveli is located in main city and her college must be in outskirts than she needs to stay in hostel to lessen the trauma of trvelling

u ws ryt initially..zilla means district...any city can become a district if it fulfill sm criteria like population or infrastructure fascilities
in d shw eveeythng z possible bt practically jaitser kind of village cant be a district even in d show still jaitser hv no infrastructure fascilities nd in real jaitser z a typical village whr soo much dust, rough roads,nd ppls r using camel for agriculture nd transpotation...nt all prsns bt still i saw many ppls dr.

Thank you sooo much!!!! Brilliant explanation! 👏
So, how exactly is Jaitsar a zilla then? Are there small villages in Jaitsar that BV didn't bother to shed light on? Dear goodness...somebody stop me before I ask ten hundred more questions about something so unimportant! BV isn't about the number of villages in Jaitsar...there are much more pressing concerns at hand!
Chalo, as long as Sanchi lives in a hostel...whether that's five minutes away from Kesar Bag or two hours away is none of my business 😆 But yeh madam hostel jaayengi kab? She's been away from college for MONTHS now...I'm sure her college must have objections too (we're not the only ones!)

Oh okay...makes sense! Thank you! 😃
Well I guess the show's giving a good message in that sense...meaning that if BV's Jaitsar could improve to such an extent, then it's possible in the real wala Jaitsar, or any other village as well. And yeah, you're right about the Jaitsar in the show... the improvements seem to be only spoken about in the dialogues...as such dekhne ko kuch nahin mila 😕
