At haveli
Shiv comes Inside haveli and tells DS that they will continue with the ritual on some other. Singhs were disappointed but nod in agreement. Shiv then leaves with Meenu (M) and Saanchi (Sa). Ds feels sorry for Anandi and all others are sad.
Ganga's home:
Ganga is lying on floor trying to make her child sleep. Ratan passes by and starts looking at her lustfully. As soon as he gets a chance, he starts molesting her. Ganga is looking for an escape, just then Ratan's wife calls him and kind of catches him red-handed. Ratan smartly puts the blame on Ganga and goes out with his wife. Ganga is left in shock.
CH
Anandi is standing at a window getting flash backs of DS-J-leaving home etc. she is crying and she is lost in thoughts, when Shiv comes near her. He calls her Anandi, and she hugs him tightly with tears in her eyes. Shiv is all shocked, and first gets control over himself.
He then starts consoling her and explains that she is so lucky to have such a loving family. He promises that he will look for Jagya, and bring him back to his family. Anandi is calmed.
Ganga's home:
Ratan is trying to pacify his wife Padma, when she questions him, what was he doing in Ganga's room. He replies that he had only gone to take his child. Padma is not convinced and further questions him. She is also pregnant and asks Ratan to get Ganga out of his life.
Ratan replies that once Padma delivers her baby, he will throw Ganga out and keep the son, and then Padma can look after both the kids. Padma is not happy with the idea of raising G's son, but Ratan pacifies her.
CH
All 4 of them are at breakfast table, when Makhan singh knocks. He comes to hand over newspaper, which DS had sent for Shiv. Meenu is impressed with their hospitality and praises Singhs to Anandi. Anandi smiles.
At Laxmibaug
J spots G going somewhere and she is barely able to walk. He tries to stop her and asks how is she feeling. But G tries to avoid him and starts walking further. Finally he stops her. He encourages her not to fear Ratan singh but to fight him back. It is because of her fear, RT is taking advantage of her. He also mentions that Domestic Violence is a big crime and if she keeps quiet always then RT will continue to torture her.
G tells that she tried her best to defend, but situations only became worse. It's not easy for her to run away with a child and she can't risk. Just then J cuts her and says that for the sake of the child she needs to take bold steps. Ganga sheds him away, but J is still hopeful. He gives her his number in case she needs help. G moves away telling him to keep out of her life. J slightly shocked.
CH
Shiv is getting ready when he finds that a button of his shirt is broken. Anandi insists on stitching it. She is at a very close proximity to his. They both share an eye-lock. The silence in their minds in broken, when Meenu calls Anandi.
Shiv thinks to himself that A is trying to make efforts to come close to him. He promises to himself that he will fill her life with enough happiness, that to come close to him, she won't need excuses, but instead she will get close out of her rights and willingness.
Voice Over: A self-confident person is usually optimistic and it is the optimism that helps in changing tough situations into easy ones.
Pre-cap: Shiv decides to take A to an orphan house, in a hope to see some more smiles on her face. A little girl takes them to a doctor, who to their surprise is Jagya. All 3 shocked.
