Oh! no...Maan is from IIT Delhi. He only came to Chennai during the summer vacations because his father worked closely with Geetika's father and he did his summer project in the Chennai campus.

'Love' - a four letter word yet can't be encompassed between the bounds of all letters or numbers or any entity put together. Mainly cause it just doesn't exist in a single form & can't be defined as a fact. Love has it's own different dimensions & meanings to each person whether feeling it or not feeling it ( not feeling also being another form of the emotion by itself). Quite similar to how each individual is different with different perspectives but yet with common bond of life & living; so it is with love all having their own share of pain & pleasure yet boiling down to its need for defining life.
Well wriiten part, Quite many things here being symbolic for some realities in each of the characters here. Some lines took me to a very different plane of thought & feeling that I needed to take a pause & just reflect & ponder over it.
Unrequited love - your take on it was good but also left sapce for questioning of what happens after accepting the fact ; that now what, where will all this lead to, where to go & express this volcano of emotions pent up within... ??? Also it did leave some loop there wherein its for each one to decide depending upon your own depth of feeling & understanding, alongwith what holds importance to you further on... It left a hope for some goodness if not in an holistic form yet somewhat that keeps you going & able to continue... Just like it's said that - ' even love unreturned has it's own rainbow'... & that was that rainbow of hope that you left at the end of P-M's story... that they do continue living in parts yet functional enough, with human shortcomings where they somewhere once in a while do give into their own guilty pleasures yet within their bounds even if it doing with just keeping a tab or one off face-face meeting.

Thoughts?

Would like to ask., why exactly you have moved this from BV forum..
Are there any specific reasons..
and in FF forum., if we keep the thread updating regularly with comments., why will it be hidden...Is there so much rush...?..😕

Shiv- Aanandi ... have finally began forming an imge in my mind. Though not quite concrete yet even the somewhat hazy picture is quite acceptable.. & making me curious & craving for more about them.
Loved it when coincidenatlly she started her doodling at same time she mentioned that all women don't obsess over the kind of men he described indirectly & unconciously conveying to her that he doesn't fall in those category & her admiting it that she is not the one to fall or fuss over such men. In a way their convos are one way or the other paving paths for future encounters & bonding with their thoughts coming to be levelled with at least some similar tastes & descriptions. Loved the easy bonding that is between these two. Also how even unsaid things are slowly beginning to fall in place without being voiced out or having to be reasoned with or justified.
Admired Shiv's character here for being the invisible bridge but at the same time being a reminder to remain within their bounds in this unrequited love of P-M. Now I understood by what you were trying to convey by saying that it wasn't her POV about love you would be describing but Shiv's in the coming parts. I must say you have a knack of convincing by subtly changing the perspective just by placing a different lens in front. Shiv here appears to be someone who has grown & acquired knowledge not just through books but one who has embraced & willingly craving to take each experience of his & others around him as something to be learned & dwelled upon. He seems to be a mixture of civil, modern yet rooted & worldly-wise. He has amalgated himself with the cultures he has been exposed to through his journey of life so far & imbibing & nurturing those that appeal & justify his sensibilities with what has been handed down by his forefathers & own sociocultural setting.
Loved his take stating - ... You don't truly stop loving anyone. You only start learning to love new things & new people...
Even how both Prithvi & Aanandi have been in some period of time occupied the same room in Shiv's house. Quite symbolic on how it was Shiv who was a medium for a change & awakening from their slumber to redefine, & start life afresh by collecting the broken remains & joining them to new drives, passions, & experiences..

@ Onir: Thank you! You seem to have connected pretty much all the dots there is. Pretty much being the key word!😊 As I said, Shiv and Anandi will be quite hazy - they are for me too - and will remain so until both of them are physically present in the same scene. You cannot bring about a lot of chemistry when many of their conversations over phone.

Prithvi and Mitra - Well, there isn't much left in the open for them. But, let's see how they contribute to the story line. ;)

@ Adi: I have put in a request to move the thread back to BV. I can't compete with the ArHI FFs here. Yes, this thread goes under within seconds, let alone minutes.

Last but not the least... My dear dearest Prithvi,,,
Totally loved his insanity & depth of the emotions he felt & lived through. It was as though he was pulled into this vortex of emotions & is enclosed within it with just no way to return. The way you described his pain & the madness he was engulfed in was so beautiful
Loved it - that he permitted & gave her the sole rights to fuse herself into his/ their altogether different world & just the one that can be shared by them. So engrossed he makes himself into it that now it is just the need & feeling that being within the folds of that world of theirs is the lone reason of his ability to remain sane & reason for survival... So much so that withdrawing or emerging out of it leaves him in a life that is meaningless that causes him to blow a fuse just to camouflage his helplessness & desperation to once again be embraced & engulfed in those sensations & trance.
👏 Loved it ...

😊...guess it's you alone who can in reality or to say fictionally be able to justify & join all the dots here...😆. Also it being that what ever is revealed is through just Aanandi's POV & what was put ahead by Shiv ... but P-M only can be true source of what was that transpired... 😊
Will wait to see how do you connect P-M & S-A ...

Sneak Peek...

As I applied haldi over the burn mark on his palm, I said, "This reminds me of a story Daadisa told me when I was young."

He didn't speak then and shifted his eyes to me from the window just as I looked up at him. "Have you heard the tale of the man who could not be loved? Its a desert fable. It was told he drew powers from other's hate for him."

"No," he said, a somber look in his face.

...

When I walked back to the table to grab my phone, I heard him address me even as the phone continued ringing. "What happened to him?" he asked, his voice intent with curiosity.

It took me a moment to silence the phone and turn around. There was a smile on my face as I returned to sit next to him on the window sill.
