Flashback...

Urumi for today's song accompaniment.

It was agreed that she would sit by the window - the afternoon sun was not the best light there was for portraits, but it was all they could do with for a class demo. Drawing her long plait over to the front, she sat with her knees bent on the high table and turned her face away from the light to look back at him over her shoulder.

Will this work for you?" she asked him and he raised his gaze from the palette to her, his one brow in a slight curve - a mark of his ever present ill temper over nothing at all.

Or may be today, there was reason enough to be petulant when she sat in the manner she did like she wasn't the least bit affected by him. She had gotten better than he was at hiding stuff, that much he gave her.

A generous amount of a fading grey had settled over her cheekbone that tipped over her shoulder. Everything was nearly perfect...except his f**king mood and he dropped the palette knife on the table in front of him.

He shifted his eyes back to her and for one long moment absorbed a trail of small movements in her that took his focus everywhere at once: the blink of her lashes; the sway of her long mane as it fell out her thick braid; the separating of her silver bangles at her wrist and he drew his gaze back to her face just in time to watch her exhale through her parted lips. And then there was the black flare of wait in her eyes awaiting his response...

He had his answer then. "No! we will continue tomorrow when the light is better," he said, as he picked up his bag and books. Without another look at her, he walked out of class.

This time, his brow made an even steeper curve from his sharpened indignation. Was it aimed at her? Or was it directed at him? being his last thought as he stepped out of campus.

So she was his muse...😉

I seriously can't figure out what pulls me more...- His arrogance, attitude, subtle eye movements, expressive & hitting the nail gestures alongwith the single sarcastic yet cute end of conversation lines... Or Her beauty, poise, taking in her stride, equalling his sarcasm & bad temper with her calmness & composure, and the similar attraction & depth in her feelings mirroring his implying their awareness & emotions...

Loved it... Even though it was random & short, it was quite beautiful in its own way & presentation... nothing more needed or to be added...

Then that's too good... An unplanned one works for the best in most circumstances... at least it's proved for me...😆

I thought I loved Piazza Di Spagna the most, but this has gotten close to me. The desert, its feeling, feeling of people who live there, I could feel it coz my nani lives there. There were several moments like oh yes this really happens but you just dont realise the beauty of moment.

Hmm. So now Shiv is not in Udaipur, curious to know what exactly happened between them. There was always a bonding between them.

Prithvi-Mytreyi story is interesting.

And I love this Anandi :-).
