Sid is 32 not Shiv 😆. By that logic Shiv was stupid enough to marry Anandi then knowing everything abt her. Why did he marry her knowing she doesn't love him??? Please Shonali, don't use the word Bashers for people with different opinion. It is impolite and inappropriate. Actually if you belong to the Anandi Lovers camp, I am also a basher according to them. For your record, I am an AnSh lover, and not JaGa lover. I do very much appreciate Shashank and Anjum as actors, they are excellent actors, it cannot be denied. But I do not support Jagat and Gauri characters or approve their actions.

But you know, being an AnSh lover did not mean anything. One criticism I made about Anandi's attitude, that she is not being sensitive to Shiv's feelings, and boom! overnight my status changed. I was blasted left and right, MOCKED and RIDICULED by the same people who call themselves Anandi lovers. I had quit making posts in BV forum after that for a long time.

I was eagerly waiting for AnSh marriage, hoping that Anandi had a change of heart, but she is back to square one. Confused as ever! Rolling her eyes, sulking. So disappointing! Poor guy's suhaag raat washed down the drain. If Shiv was my brother, I would really feel sorry for him.

He is not a doodh peeta bachha.

Some one called him the most eligible bachelor in town . So he shud have married some girl who would swoon in his arms at the first opportunity.

If I may respond to the point about time...

I thought Shiv's words seem to imply that he expected to go all the way (petals, first night dreams) and that seemed somewhat unexpected given his earlier patient behaviour. It did not seem like all he was thinking about was a hug (I do acknowledge that my perceptions are based on presumptions about his thought process). I believe that precipitated Anandi's reaction as she is definitely not ready for it. If the point was just about a hug or Shiv continuing to take the small steps he has been towards physical intimacy, this discussion would probably have been moot, in my opinion. Anandi has not jerked away from his touch earlier when he's held her hand.

I'd like to state emphatically that I don't think Shiv's driven by desperation at all. He is very much in love and will never ever willfully cause Anandi any hurt. He's miscued and I do agree with members that Anandi should be more verbally expressive with Shiv.

I really do want Anandi to fall in love with Shiv, to reciprocate fully. Prevailing thought has it that for many women, sex and love are inextricably linked. (There is also the school of thought that calls this a learned cultural imposition solely meant to contain a woman's sexuality within socially-condoned relationships. Per me, both are fine as long as the woman chooses.) I feel that for Anandi, as mentioned earlier, sex and love are two sides of the same coin and she'll be ready when she's in love. For that, she's rightfully going to need time.

I exptected a different way of shiv's character to be portrayed but cvs are showing a different story which is unexpected, shiv being desperate. I don't like the present track. 😵
