btw, why was Anandi all alone in the Sheka'rs place? In the South, one person from the girl's family accmpany her to her in-laws place for the first couple of days..that would make the girl feel better. Here Anandi is alone! No wonder she keeps that dull expression most of the time!

this dosent happen in north...most of the time girl goes alone.
In some places a maid or a servant accompanies her...

Thnks for clearing that Neha. hmmm...i think that's really tough and sort of unfair for a girl. 🤔

she will be sad - this is her first night without her family so she will be nervous. she is starting a whole new life with people she barely knows.
she dont know how shiv will treat her for their first night together either.

neha (i think i m correct as i came 2 know from perseus post).its not true that in north gal goes alone. i can't say abt rajasthan but atleast in my state which is a hill state & in our bordering states gals don't go alone.they go wid either their sis or bro but mostly bros go & if they'r alone then cosuins or frnds can go. i'd accompained 2 my cousin's marriages & in my sis marriage my bro & cousins'd gone .😊😊

why didnt anandi wait for shiv before sleeping off
Why she didnt wake up wen Shiv was recording her pic

Well I will not be that much silly to ask those questions - but the question is when a guy is so much understanding and he and his family is going extra yards to make her comfortable and happy in the new place, and Shiv just looking at her face can understand her thoughts, Irawati can stand up against the relatives for her sake - would not it be rational not to show the crying face to them all the time when they are in informal gathering? Anandi knew all the Shekhars much before her marriage and she summoned her so called "best friend" whenever she needed a shoulder to cry - specially when her beloved Singh's made her to care and even asked to marry Jagiya. But in reciprocation, what did she give to her best friend? She could at least make a smiling face for her best friend's sake?

When Shiv is close, she feels like petrified. She is not a small child any more and she could speak her mind to Shiv. Instead when Shiv is close, she makes her face as if Shiv is doing something unnatural or some alien is trying to touch her!

She told Shiv to marry her just to fulfill her mother's wish. Shiv told her to wait - she could have waited eons to develop her feelings. But when she has agreed for marriage, she should have accepted the fact that there will be some expectation from Shiv also. I am not against her taking her time, but at least she should be more open minded about accepting Shiv as her husband. It seems that she does not want take that step forward.

well, let shiv come and stay in anandi's haveli leaving his family, his home and everything else & stay there alone!...let anandi and her family welcome shiv like their own son..now what do u think? on even if there will be a warm welcome, on the first day will shiv not miss his family and will not make a dull face? i think he will make a dull face too! any normal person will do the same!..does not matter from how much time u know the family!

1. it was anandi's first day in shiv's home and she was missing her family
2. she was tired
3. u may have missed those parts when she laughed at mahi's plan!
4. u may have missed those parts where she was smiling at shiv during the rituals..

poor anandi(s), how would she(they) know that the world is so cruel that she(they) is(r) not permitted to miss her(their) family on the first day at her(their) sasural!! the condition is not only u have to leave ur parental house but also u can not cry missing ur family!...really amazing rule...

I have gone through the same experience in my life - it broke my heart when we were leaving my maayka - I saw my parents crying from the car- and it was tearing me away. But still when my in laws took me for dinner - I did not cry my heart out in front of them that how much I am missing my parents -- when my husband was talking to me - I was not looking to him with my teary eyes! But again, I am just a normal human being with normal expectations.
