Anandi and Shiv's wedding day

Anandi and Shiv go to sleep with sweet dreams in their eyes and sweet smiles on their faces. The next day was to begin earlier than others. Shiv and Anandi were still in sweet sleep. Sumitra and Bhairon come to Anandi's room. They see her sweetly sleeping. This was the last day she would wake up in this room as their lado. She was getting married to her SB today. She would leave a void in their life. They would not see her wake up or put her to sleep at night. Tears roll down their cheeks. They come closer to her and sit on her bed. She has the sweetest smile on her face as the words C S come out of her mouth. They are happy that she dreams of him.

They wake her up from her sweet sleep. Bhairon gently runs his hand on her head and Sumitra puts a kajal teeka behind her ear. Anandi wakes up and sees her parents looking at her with tears in their eyes. She hugs them and tears roll down her cheeks too. They have an emotional parent daughter moment which turns more emotional when Sugna joins them. The parents and their two daughters cry. From now on both their lados will belong to paraya ghar.

Basant and Gehna and the kids too come to Anandi's room. The entire family gets emotional as this is Anandi's last day as only the lado of the Singh family. From now on she would be the lado of the Singh family and also the badi pota bahu of the Shekhar family. They are remembering their times spent together. Sumitra asked," Betiyaan itni jaldi badi kyun ho jaati hai? Kyun inko vida karna padta hai?" Anandi hugs her ma and cries. Badi masiji comes with Dsa and cracks a joke in an attempt to make everyone laugh. They do so. "Chaalo chaalo jaldi sab log kaam par lag jao aaj maahri chidakly ka byaah hai." Dsa gives everyone orders.

Anandi is alone in her room. She remembers all the time spent with her family. She gets ready for the pooja done before leaving the home for the wedding venue. The pooja done was for the happiness of the bride in her saasra. Sumitra, Bhairon and Anandi do the pooja. Everyone remember all the times pooja was done in the house and the way Anandi as a child liked to have sweets. Dsa remembered all the times her chidakly used to say,"Dsa ek aur ladoo do na." Today she would not because she had fasted as per tradition the girl and her parents fast till the kanyadaan is not done. The family has a sweet fb every now and then.

After the pooja she excuses herself and goes around the house. She sees every nook and corner of the house as if she is not gonna get to see it again. She goes to Dsa's room and there she sees Anandi's childhood photos minus Jagat. She sees her photos and smiles she remembers to take some of them to her saasra for Shiv. She does not know that Shiv had already taken the photos and scanned them on his laptop. It was one more of Dsa and her ladesar/laad kuwarsa's milibhagat.

Anandi then goes to Sumitra and Bhairon's room. There she remembers all the times she slept there and the stories her ma told her to put her to sleep. She sees the photo of her parents and tears trickle down her eyes. Sumitra comes and looks for her. She sees Anandi there. "Chal lado kya kar rahi hai. Aaj tera byaah hai. Tayyar nahi hona hai? Sab tere kamre mein tera intezaar kar rahi hai." She says all of this without eye contact with Anandi. Anandi hugs her and says," Thank you ma. Meri ma banne ke liye. Agle janam main aapki sachi waali beti bankar aaoongi. Aapki kokh se janam lekar." "Tune bhale meri kok se janam na liya ho lado par meri kok dhanya hogi agar tu agle janam isse janam legi. Meri lado hai tu aur jab teri lado aayegi na tab bhi tu meri lado hi rahegi." She kisses her forehead.

Anandi still does not go to her room. She goes to the terrace and also behind the tank. She is sad remembering all the times when she used to play there. She smiles as she remembers Shiv and the way he had brought smile to her face. She goes to the courtyard where she used to play as a child and the tree where Bhairon and Basant had tied a swing for her. Every year in spring season they tied a swing for her. She looks at the haveli from outside. She goes inside and sees the temple where she does pooja daily. She goes to the kitchen, the hall, the staircase and photos on the walls. Every nook and corner of the house remembered her as she did them. They were all sad that Anandi an integral part of them was leaving. They were all beaming with joy too as they would from now on see a happy Anandi with her beend Shiv.

Finally Anandi reaches her room. There is a lot of hustle bustle. Her sister and friends were doing preparations to dec up the dulhan. They grab and make her sit in front of the dressing table. They remove the jewelry she is now wearing and also remove her make up. She is asked to go take a bath. Anandi is in the shower and while showering she sees Shiv name written near her heart. She remembers him and a shy smile comes on her face. She remembers the accounts of the previous night. She deliberately had asked not to speak with Shiv because she did not want him to find out about her fast. She was sure that if he knew about it he too would fast with her.

She comes out after a long shower. A towel wrapped around her. Her hair was dripping. She looked beautiful and smelled sweet like a fresh flower. She stood like that in front of the mirror and once again saw Shiv's name on her body. The color of the mehndi on her hands, feet and her heart had gone darker. She thought that it was because of the special method using which Dsa had the henna made. Today he was coming to her thoughts far more than ever. She smiles as she would be with her best friend forever. He was such a nice man who did not take care only of her but also of her family. She mentally scolded her self for misunderstanding him and his intentions initially.

She was getting married today. She was marrying her C S now not only because of her ma's dying wish but also because she genuinely liked and respected him as a person and friend and thought of him as the perfect life partner. He did not know of it. She had to tell him before the wedding. She just wanted to marry her best friend. She still was not in love with him. Or she thought so. She comes out his thoughts. She tried to resist but failed and dialed his number. She just had to be clear with him that though she is not in love with him she is readily and happily marrying him out of her own and her own will only.

Shiv too desparately wanted to speak with her. He had got up late as he was dreaming of Anandi. Ira strictly had said ,"NO PHONE CALLS." Specially, he could not call Anandi because time flies by in their coochi cooing and today they could not afford to loose time. There were too many things to be done. Shiv had got ready in a simple dhoti kurta. He was called to do the pooja as same as Anandi had done. After the pooja he saw everyone busy in their respective duties so slipped into his room and called Anandi. He got a continous busy tone and so did she. "Kisse baat kar rahi hai aur kyun? Pata hona chaihiye na ki mera phone aayega. Ek toh itni mushkil se mauka mila hai aur ye phone engage aa raha hai." Shiv made a cute baby face as he could not get through to Anandi.

this was very amazing...very emotional even...especially the scenes before she goes to get ready...

nd hmmm...dono ko ek-dusere se bat karne ki itani besabari raheti hai..to aisa busy tone to kabhi na kabhi to ana hi tha...😉 well ye bat aur hai..sadi ki ye rasmo tak ka intejhar to jaise taise kat jata hai...par Sadi ke din ka yeh..kuch ganto ka hi Intejhar..bada bhari..lagta hai..😭😉😛...to beta Shiv itna 😡 mat karna samne wali tumhari serani bhi kuch isi mood mai 😡 hai..😆😆😆...dekhenge kaun kisaki parade leta hai..😆
