She takes his hand and goes to the terrace. They sit on the floor behind the water tank. No one would catch them there. She used to come there when she would be sad and needed to cry. It was her secret place. Today she was there because she was happy. She shared her secret place that she had never shared with anyone with Shiv. The meaning and importance of the things associated with her sad past was changing. They were getting a new meaning with Anandi and Shiv's relation. The sad things were becoming happy things.
It was a bit dark but he could see her face clearly. The smile on her face and the shine in her eyes on seeing her inaam brought a huge smile on his face. She relishes it with out sharing it with him at first. He sees her taking chatkaras when she eats the khatti meethi goli. 'She would eat kacchi ambiya and imli in the same way when she would be expecting their child.' He thought. He blushes on thinking about babies. He was sure that his love would make Anandi fall head over heels in love with him and then they would receive the best gift of their lives a child of their own, their future and the result of their love. She offers him cotton candy as she had finished all the khaati meethi goli. They share the cotton candy like two school going kids. They were mature and kiddish at the same time. He brought out the kid in her who she thought was lost forever.
Shiv: Kaisa laga aapko ye sab khake?
Anandi: Mazaa aa gaya. Mujhe mera bachpan yaad aa gaya. Aapne mujhse jo kaha tha wo aap bakhoobi kar rahe hain.
Shiv: Kya?
Anandi: Mujhe mujhse phirse milwa rahe hain aap. Yaad hai Karni mata ke mandir mein chudiyaan dilate waqt aapne kaha tha.
Shiv: Aapko meri kahi hui baat yaad hai? Shiv is very happy to hear that she remembers everything he says and does for her. He, his words and actions are very important to her.

Anandi: Sangeet mein jo aapne kamarbandh diya tha wo bahut hi sundar aur pyaara laga. Kitna nazuk hai aur usme kitni saari choti choti ghoongriyaan hain. Shiv: Nahi aisa kuch nahi hai. Aap saari mein bahut sundar lagti hain na is liye maine apke liye li. Wo meri janam din ki party mein aap bahut acchhi lag rahi thi kabhi kehne ka mauka hi nahi mila. The same thought comes to their mind. They are truly made for each other. God had made them for each other. The wait for them to meet and the pain she had to go through to meet him was so that they would understand the meaning and importance of true love. They would cherish this sacred bond till eternity.
Shiv: Anandiji kahaan kho gayi aap?
Anandi: kuch nahi wo bas kuch soch rahi thi.
They smile and blush. The cold vanishes with the warm smiles and endearing looks.
Anandi: C S Aapse kuch poochoon? Aapko bura toh nahi lagega na?
Shiv: Aap poochiye toh sahi mujhe bura nahi lagega.
Anandi was feeling shy to ask him the question and she looked down. He held her chin and slowly lifted her face.
Shiv: Main aapka best friend hoon na? Toh Best friend se itni jhikjak kyun? Poochiye jo bhi sawaal hoga main uska jawaab doonga.
Anandi: Wo aap mere liye jo payal laye the aur kamarbandh bhi. (She clears her throat and gulps. Closes her eyes and on one breath asks her question. ) Wo dono itne perfect size ke kaise hain? Aapko kaise pata mere pair aur meri kamar ke size kya hai?
Shiv bursts out laughing. He just could not control himself. She looked so cute and innocent when she asked him the question.
Anandi: Dekha isiliye main jhijhak rahi thi aapse poochne ke liye. Main jaanti thi aap aise hi hasenge.
Shiv: Sorry main aapke sawaal par ya aap par nahi hasa. Wo main situation par hasa maine kabhi sapne mein bhi nahi socha tha ki aap mujhse aisa sawaal karengi. Main iss sawaal ke liye bilkul prepared nahi tha. Mujhe samajh hi nahi aaya main kaise react karoon sawaal process karne se pehle hi hasi aa gayi
Anandi: Ab toh sawaal process ho gaya na? Ab batiye aapko kaise pata chala. Kisi se poocha tha aapne? Aise kaise kisi se poocha kya socha hoga unhone jinse aapne poocha. Hey bhagwaan Dsa se toh nahi poocha?
Shiv: Shh Chup rahiye main batata hoon. Itne zor se chillaya aur kisine mujhe yahaan dekha toh baraat meri kal niklegi band aaj bajega. Dhyaan se suniye. Aapko yaad hai aap mandirse meri jeep mein baithi thi? Uss din aap ki payal meri jeep mein choot gayi thi?
Anandi: Haan aur aap pehli baar school aaye the. Aapne kaisi paheliyaan poochi thi main bhi jawaab nahi dhoondh payi thi. Lekin tab aapne meri payal ko itne dhyaan se kyun dekha ki aapko uska naap pata chal gaya?
Shiv: Nahi nahi tab mujhe pata nahi chala tha. Wo toh payal ki baat nikli toh yaad aa gayi. Waise aap bhi na bahut innocent hai. Kya kiya tha aapne uss din? Maine payal dikhayi to mere saamne hi apna lehnga thoda uthakar check karne lagi. Ye toh main itna shareef tha koi aur hota toh?
Anandi: Maine jaanke nahi kiya tha bas ho gaya tha. Ab bataiye aapko mere pair ka naap kaise pata chala?
Shiv: Aapko yaad hai jab hum CM sahib se milne Jaipur gaye the. Wahaan se lautte waqt aapke pair mein moch aa gayi thi?
Anandi: Haan aur aap mujhe uthakar uss ghar mein le gaye the. Lekin usse kaise pata chala?
Shiv looked at her as she again interrupted the flow of his story. She saw the look on his face and nodded for him to continue.
Shiv: Aapke pair ki moch theek karte hue mujhe andaaza aa gaya aap ki payal ki size ke bare mein.
Anandi: Aur kamar ki size? Wo bhi usi din pata chali aapko?
Shiv: Shh kaha na bata raha hoon. Aapko yaad hai jis din hum pehli baar mile the aur aap mere saath ghode par baithi thi. Toh lagaam pakadne ke liye mere haath aapko ghire the na'

Anandi: Us din pata chala aapko? Itni tension ke mahaul ke baad bhi aapko meri kamar ka naap yaad raha?
Shiv: nahi nahi uss din bhi nahi
Anandi was now getting frustrated. She got up on her knees and pulled Shiv towards her face.
Anandi: Seehde seedhe batiye kab pata chala?
Shiv: (Loved the desperation in her voice.) Uss din jab aap bacchon ke saath hops scotch khel rahi thi aur gir rahi thi aur maine aapko pakda tha uss din mujhe pata chali aakpke kamar ki size. Aur main johri ke paas gaya aur maine order deke gehne banva liye.

Anandi and Shiv were lost in their sweet talk. They heard the sound of the jeep pulling in the compound. They saw that the women and men of the family were back. The older folks were still at the temple. The men had found out about Shiv escaping the Bachelor's party through the washroom window. They were sure he had come to see Anandi. It would be scandalous if the grand generation saw him alone in the house with her. They searched everywhere for Anandi and Shiv. They came up to the terrace and saw the two of them standing with heads down like K.G students. They heard Dsa, Bade tauji and badi masiji's voice. Shiv could not go down the stairs. Basant, Bhairon and Shyaam decide to tie a rope around Shiv's waist and lower him down from the terrace.
"Maine kaha tha na bhaisa Shiv aur Anandi ke byaah se bahut kuch badlega iss haveli mein. Dekh lijiye badal raha hai. Hum masa se chupa kar apne kuwarsa ko chat se aise neeche utaar rahe hain jaise kabhi bachpan mein hum ghar se nikalte the khelne ke liye." Bhairon said. "Ye bacche bhi najaane kya kya karwayenge iss umar mein. Ladakpan ke din yaad aa gaye." Basant too fumbled for words and came up with the best. He was a straight forward man and such antics gave him a hard time.
Shyaam went down in order to support Shiv when he would almost reach the ground. Anandi and Shiv were saying their sweet good byes and were about to have an endearing eye lock. "Chalo bhai Shiv Fauji parivaar se ho kasrat ke liye tayyar ho jao. Ja aise rahe ho aaye bhi aise hi the kya?" Anandi giggled when Basant asked Shiv this question and saw Shiv's shy face. "Nahi Seedhiyon se aaya tha." Sumitra and Gehna pulled her ears. "Unke kaan mat khichiye ma sa unhe dard hoga." "Arre bhai ek kaam karte hain Shiv ka mann nahi hai yahaan se jaane ka use bapu sa se milwa hi dete hain unka aashirwaad bhi mil jayega. Bhooka bhi hoga ma sa se daant bhi khilwa dete hain. Aur aaj to party mein iski khilli udane ka mauka kahan mila? Kuwarsa toh humaari lado se milne aa gaye toh badi masiji se milwa dete hain wo hasi mazzaak kar lengi. Kyun Shiv chalo bhai neeche baithak mein hain sab chalte hain." Basant said again. "Nahi nahi main ja raha hoon."
Shiv signed call you later. Anandi nodded. They both went down. Shiv via ropeway and Anandi via staircase.
Shiv reached home and his family grilled him about going to see Anandi. Alok and Mahi had told the ladies and Daddu how he had gone out throught the washroom window to go see Anandi. Just then Anandi called him. He excused himself to talk with her. He closed the door of his room behind him to keep away any disturbance. His family laughed behind his back.
Anandi: Aap theek se neeche pahuche the na? Aapko lagi toh nahi thi na? Sorry wo maine aapki baat nahi suni aur aapko rok liya. Agar aisa nahi karti toh aapko ye sab nahi jhelna padta. Sabne aapka bahut mazaak udaya hoga na?
Shiv: Haan main theek se neeche pahunch gaya tha. Nahi mujhe nahi lagi. Sorry mat boliye aapne roka par main bhi toh ruka na? Main bapusa aur tauji ka damaad se zyaada beta hoon toh kya hua ki unhone mujhe thoda sa cheda? Haq banta hai unka. Mazaak banana ke liye kisi ko aajkal bahane ki zaroorat nahi hai. Yahaan to sab subah shaaam dekhe bina hi shuru ho jaate hain.
Anandi: Accha chaliye ab aap so jaiye. Kal subah bahut jaldi uthna hai.
Shiv: Mujhe neend nahi aa rahi. Jab sooonga nahi to jagoonga kaise.
Anandi: Dekhiye kal ka din bada lamba hoga please so jaaiye warna RAAT hote hote thak jaayenge.
Shiv: Haan waise idea accha hai sounga toh hi toh sapne aayenge.
There is a knock on the door. Shiv opens the door. He sees Mahi standing there with a huge smile on his face. "Hi bhabhi kaisi hain aap kaisi rahi aapki aur bhai ki moonlight date?" Mahi screamed so that Anandi could hear him. 'Chandani raat hai tu mere saath hai, kuch hawa sard hai dil mein bhi dard hai, dard be dard hai, lab pe koi baat hai' Mahi sings. "Tu yahan kya kar raha hai? Ja yahan se." Shiv scolds him. "Bhai main kahan jaoon? Main toh yahi isi kamre main sota hoon." He yawns and goes and spreads on the bed. Shiv hits him with a pillow on his butt. "Bhaiyya maar kyun rahe ho? So jaaiye aur mujhe bhi chain se sone dijiye." "Aaj ki raat so le yahaan kal se meri room ke aas paas bhi nazar aaya hai toh Mahi (M S Dhoni) ke helicopter shot marte waqt ball stadium se bahar jaata hai waise hi tujhe bhi bahar kar doonga." Anandi laughs on hearing the nok jhok of the brothers.
Anandi and Shiv say their ususal sweet good byes and sweet dreams. This was the last time they would say these lovely words on the phone. From tomorrow they would be together and say it face to face. Tomorrow was their wedding day. It was going to be a great day for them personally ' They become man and wife and professionally too ' they help many unfortunate girls get re-married. There was one dhamaka in happening too which they were unaware about.
