Anandi and the whiskey PART 2
When Anandi got up in the evening, her head felt very heavy. She kept her eyes closed as she was thinking about the dream she'd had. Shiv was a regular star in her dreams but this one was weird. In it, she was drunk and she yelled at Jagya and Shiv said he loved her.. She blushed and smiled. She had said I love you too.. As much as she denied it, she did have feelings for Shiv. And it was clear to her now that she loved him. ❤️
'Hmm great dream, I wish it had been real..', thought Anandi. She opened her eyes and they widened!
'Where am I? Oh God, I wasn't dreaming! Oh no!', she groaned. Shiv enters and hears her. He rushes to her side. 😲
S: Anandi, aap theek toh hai na? How are you feeling now?
A: Main ab theek hu, collector sahab...
S: Ok Anandi ji.. 😕
Shiv thinks Anandi doesn't remember anything and that's why she's calling him 'collector sahab' again. He doesn't want to trouble Anandi by telling her that she was drunk. So he tells her that she had fallen sick and that's why he brought her to Circuit House. Anandi is touched.
A: Aapko jhoot bolne ki koi zarurat nahi hai, collector sahab.. Mujhe sab kuch yaad hai..
S: Oh! (smiles) Phir aap mujhe 'collector sahab' kyu bula rahi hai? 😆
Anandi blushes thinking of all that she said.
A: Aap bhi toh mujhe 'Anandi ji' bula rahe hain..
S: Hmm.. Toh kya bulaun? 😳
Anandi is so embarrassed that she hides her face in the pillows and groans.
A: Mujhe bahut sharam aa rahi hai! Aap mere baare mein kya soch rahe honge..! 😳
Shiv moves the pillows from her face.
S: Anandi, I love you.. Aapke baare mein main kabhi kuch bura nahi soch sakta. 😊
Anandi blushes again. Now that she's in control of herself, she doesn't know what to say.
A: Shiv.. Main.. I..
S: Dekhiye main aapse kuch expect nahi kar raha hu.
A: Nahi. Mujhe yeh kehne hai. (she's so shy that she has to look at her hands to be able to talk) Aap mere sabse achche dost hai. Aap mujhe bahut achche se samajhte hai. Main jaanti hu ki aap mujhse pyaar karte hai.. Aur main.. Main shehri ladkiyon ki tarah apne mann ki baat seedhe-seedhe nahi keh sakti.. Pyar maine sirf dosti aur zimmedari ki dor se bandha hua dekha hai. Par aapke liye main kuch alag mehsoos karti hu. Aapke saath main khud ko kisi kaabil samajhti hu... Sab kuch khubsurat lagta hai... Khush rehti hu. I love you too, Shiv! 😃
She looks up into his eyes with a smile. He looks shocked. And then suddenly, he hugs her. Anandi feels like all her pain and hesitation and frustration has melted away. They stay like that for some time. Then Shiv pulls away. 😊
S: Main aapko bata nahi sakta ki main kab se yeh sunne ke liye tadap raha tha.. 😳
He kisses her forehead and they both share a moment of silent joy. Anandi tells Shiv to drop her home. Both of them keep peeking at each other and can't keep the smiles off their faces.
A: Bye..
S: Main aapko dinner ke baad phone karunga!
A: Main intezaar karungi.. ❤️
Shiv smiles and drives away.
Later that night-
A: Collector sa- Shiv ka phone! 😳
S: Hello? Kaisi hai aap? Aapka sar dard toh nahi kar raha na?
A: Arre aap shaant ho jaiye.. Main theek hu..
S: (sighs) Mujhe aapki bahut chinta ho rahi thi..
A: Toh phir aapne itna late kyu phone kiya?
S: Kyu? Aapko meri yaad aa rahi thi?
A: Mujhe kyu aayegi aapki yaad? Mujhe toh Choti Maa ki yaad aa rahi thi! (giggles) 😆
S: Achcha? Main unhe abhi bulata hu.. (he yells out) Choti Maa!
A: Arre nahi! Unhe mat bulaiye!
S: Pehle aap admit kijiye ki aapko meri yaad aa rahi thi.. 😃
A: Theek hai! Haan, mujhe aapki yaad aa rahi thi..
S: (smiles) Choti Maa waise bhi so rahi hai.. I missed you too, Anandi.. A lot. 😳
A: (shyly )Aapne khana khaya?
S: Haan. Aapne?
A: Jee. Kal main aapke liye lunch le au?
S: Haan sure!
A: Um.. Choti Maa ko bura toh nahi lagega na?
S: Nahi nahi. Aap unki chinta mat kijiye..
A: Theek hai.. Main aapke liye halwa laungi..
S: Wow.. Mujhe duniya mein sabse zyada aapka halwa pasand hai.. 😊
A: (Smiling) Mujhse bhi zyada? 😳
S: Arre nahi nahi.. Aap toh meri Jaanu hai na! Hahaha... 😆
A: Shiv! Aap mera mazak mat udaiye! 😳
S: Shiv? Kyu Shivu nahi? Hahaha 😆
A: Jaiye main aapse baat nahi karti! Good night! 😳 😡
And she cuts the call. But her anger is just superficial, she blushes and laughs. As she's going to bed, she gets a text from Shiv.
"I love you."
Anandi smiles and replies-
"Good night, Collector Sahab!"
She's just teasing him and Shiv also guesses this. They both sleep with hope for a beautiful tomorrow... ⭐️
