'Shiv'..came the voice of Irawati
'Beta aajao yahan, sabh thumhara intezar ker rahe hain' she continued
Irawati looked at dadaji who was sitting on the sofa with a satisfied smile on his face.
'aaj sabh kuch bohot achay sey hua' he said
Irawati smiled and nodded and looked at choti ma who also smiled.
THough unknown to both of them her smile faded the moment it had appeared.
'Maji nay ithna kuch ker dala , voh bhi ithnay kam samay main. Main tho abhi thak hayran hun!' said Irawati
Soon Alok joined them and sat besides Daddu.
He took a huge sigh
'Aap kis liye ithni bhadi aah le rahe ho. Jaise sara kaam aapnay kiya ho! said irawati teasingly
'are..' said Alok in surprise
'kaam tho kiya na. Pura engagement maine video main record kiya hai, kya ye kamal ki baat nahi?' asked Alok
'Han ,.. ye sahih kaha hai isnay. Pehli baar mujhe iskay ...ye...ye video shooting sey pareshani nahi hui' said daddu imitating Alok moving with a video cam in his hand.
'Papaji aap bhi' said Alok surprised
Dadaji , irawati and menaakshi laughed at this
Just then shiv entered wearing casuals.
'aao jawan...' said Dadaji gesturing him to sit besides him
Shiv smiled shyly and sad besides his grand father
'kiyun bhai kaisa lag raha hai' he asked
Shiv smiled
'kaise ka kya matlab.. ye tho saathwe aasman main pahunch gaya hai' Said Irawati
'Hai na shiv' she asked him smiling
Shiv just chuckled at the thought and continue to smile
Meenakshi was silently listening to the conversation
'Sabh bohot kush lag rahe thay' she said
'are ye mahi kahan reh gaya meenu?' interupted Irawati
'didi voh meray kamre main kapday badal raha hai' she said
'Mahiii...!'
'Yahan aao yaar. kithna waqt lagathay ho kapday badalnay main! Dulhay nay bhi ithna waqt nahi lagaya' said dadaji
'aa gaya..' said Mahi as she sprinted towards the sofa
He then sat on the side arm of the sofa where Irawati was sitting
'WOW badi ma. Kithna maza aaya aaj. Sach! kya engagement tha!' he said excitedly
Everyone nodded and smiled agreeing with him
'aur bhabi! kithni khoobsurat hai woh. Main tho bilkul fida ho gaya hun unper. Honestly agar mujhe pata hotha ki collector ban-nay kay ithnay faiday hothay hain tho main bhi collector ban jatha' he said laughing
Shiv laughed at his brothers remark
'chup shaitan' said Irawati holding his ears
'ow..'
'aur kheenchiye mom. Wahan Anandi kay saamnay meri kithni khichayi ker raha tha ye' said Shiv complaining
'Waise bhaiyyah , aapnay bhabi sey baat ki-ki nahi? he asked
shiv looked surprised at his question. How did he know that he had just talked with Anandi?
'Acha... lagtha hai baat hui hai ... isiliye chehray per bara bajay hue hain' teased irawati
'Sabh kush thay lekin mujhe ek baat ki samaj nahi aayi' said Meenakshi
everyone turned and paid their attention towards Meenakshi
'kya meenu' asked irawati
'aapnay dekha didi ki Anandi nay kafi jhijakh dikhayi thi anghooti pehnathay waqt' she said with concern yet in a subtle way not wanting to hurt shiv
Shiv looked at his choti ma and thought about the moments when Anandi was struggling with herself to put the ring on his finger. He understood her dilemma.
Irawati became silent. She also went into thoughts along with Alok and dadaji.
Mahi was the only who looked confused
'Han maine bhi dekha tha ..'said dadaji thought fully
irawati remained silent and looked at shiv
Shiv turned towards his choti ma
'choti ma.. mujhe pata hai ki Anandi nay waqt liya. main uski jhijhak samaj saktha hun. Aapko tho pata hai na ki uskay saath kiya kiya hua hai in pichlay dinon main? tho zahir si baat hai ki , ek naye rishtay main padnay sey pehlay , woh ghabrayegi.
dar tho rehega ki kya is rishtay ka wohi pehlay wala anjaam na ho' said Shiv
Meenaksi looked at him and did not answer back. His answers did not put her worries at ease.
'ye sahih keh raha hai meenu. Anandi nay kithna kuch saha. Aur voh bhi ithni kam umer main. uski Jhijakh samaj sakthi hun main' said irawati
Alok and Dadaji looked on in thoughts
'kya hua? bhabi kay saath kuch hua tha kya?' asked Maahi..
it was as if they all had been awaken at once. Until that moment they all forgot that Mahi did not know the details about Anandi's past.
everyone looked at him not knowing how to answer his question
'bhaiyah batayiye mujhe' he said seriously
Shiv looked at him and nodded.
He then narrated Anandi's past to him. Mahi's eyebrows rose up and his face showed shocked
After a while
'abh main samajh saktha hun ki aapko bhabi kiyun achi lagi' he said surprising everyone
'ithna kuch hua hai unkay saath phir bhi unhonay kithna kuch haasi kiya hai' Said Mahi his voice filled with admiration.
Shiv looked at his brother fondly and turned towards his family who were also reflecting his feelings.
He then turned towards Meenakshi. There was a crease on her forehead and her eyes reflected a slight shock.
Shiv decided to let go of that for now. He knew that his choti Ma was not convinced completely about Anandi but he knew that it would not take long for Anandi to win her heart as well
