I love to reed OS but I have a problem with language barier, actualy I dont understand Hindi,only english..I belive that there is a few people at this forum with a same cind of problem. So please, if you can translate their convo on english we will be very gratefool to reed it..

I tried to embed a song in this. But, didn't know exactly how. So, I just put in the few lines of the song to get a feel of what I want the reader to know what Anandi is feeling...

Back in the room later in the night, Anandi was sitting by herself thinking about the day's events and was excited that next day they would be going to Manali to see snow. She was excited at the thought of touching snow. She was surprised at how she was feeling and why she was behaving so childish yet she was happy, felt very light, seemed like she was suddenly burden free and had no worries. It had been such a long time that she had thoroughly enjoyed herself. It was as if the breathtaking cool and serene environment had rejuvenated her mind and soul in just a day. She remembered the last time she had so much fun was with Jagya when they both had been to Mumbai on their honeymoon and they both had drenched in rain. Suddenly the smiles on her face vanished but she immidiately chided herself as to why she was thinking about the past as it didn't matter anymore and she had to make new memories and there was so much in life ahead of her. Smiling at this thought she went to bed.

Shiv reached Shimla 2 days later. His flight got delayed and he was running late for a pre-graduation party his family was hosting. He rented a car from the airport and was driving to the cottage where the party was held. After driving for sometime suddenly his car jerked and stopped. He went to check and there was a problem in the car. He was furious and called the rental car company but they said someone would reach there only in 2-3 hrs time and not earlier. He was so mad that he won't be able to make it on time for the party. He decided that he had to try and ask for a lift from somebody. He was standing on the road trying to hitch hike. But, had no luck. Atlast he saw a car stop by. He saw that the person whose car had stopped for him was none other than Anandi ! He was surprised seeing her. Anandi had seen Shiv trying to hitch hike and asked the driver to stop the car. She was going back to the hotel after shopping at a nearby market. Anandi was equally surprised seeing Shiv.

S: Anandiji aap yahan ?
A: Haan.. Mein mere parivar ke saath chutti par aayi hoon.. aur aap yahan ?
S: Meri sister ki graduation hai kal yahan. Isliye aaya hoon mein. Meri gadi karab hogayi hai and he filled her on in the details.
A: Koi baat nahin. Mein aapko chod dungi aapko kaha jana hai.

Shiv was driving the car and Anandi sitting in the front passenger seat. He noticed that she looked fresh, bit more relaxed and cheerful than she normally was in Jeitsar. Shiv was normal trying to make conversation with Anandi but not forceful about it as he saw that she was lost in some thoughts. Anandi was getting flashbacks of how rudely she had spoken to him after hearing that he had accepted Ds's proposal, him helping talk with Sumitra, bapusa telling that is was not Shiv's fault. She thought now calmly that she should not have shouted at him for saying yes to the proposal. She was feeling very guilty. She thought she used to be so calm earlier and don't know why she gets so angry especially with him.

Shiv stares at Anandi and stops the car on the road side.

Shiv Sighs and says Anandiji, Kash aap ko ye 'kyun' samaj aatha.

There is a minute of silence as Anandi stares at Shiv.

Shiv: Aap ne uss din kaha ki mein aap par ehsaan kar raha hoon. I was very deeply hurt and I still am. Meine aapse kaha hai pehle bhi ki mujhe aapko ehsaan karne ki koi zaroorat nahin hai. Phir bhi aap baar baar ... *Sighs* and says 'Kair, meine haan isliye kaha kyunki'... pauses and says 'Mujhe aap bohat pasand hai aur... 'pauses, takes in a deep breath, closes his eyes for a second and looks into her eyes and says 'mein aapse pyar karta hoon. Mere mann ki baat shayad Dadiji ne padli kisi tara.'

The color on Anandi's face changes as she heard Shiv's confession directly this time. She didn't expect that he would so openly tell her his feelings. She had only heard from Ashima that he loved her. At that time she didn't think anything of it.

Shiv continues, 'Ashi ne bataya ki aap samajh thi hai ki mera pyar aapko physical attraction lagta hai. Its not that. Agar physical attraction hota, toh jab meine pehli baar aapko dekha toh I should have felt something. But, no aisa nahin huva. Dheere dheere jab maine aapko jaane laga ,tabhi mere mann mein kuch feelings jage aap ke liye. Infact, ye baat mujhe Ashi ki wajese hi pata bhi chala ki mere life partner ki jo mere chah hai woh sare gun aap mein hai. Mein aapke inner strength, aapke yeh ek alag identity jo aapne banayi hai, ko bohat respect karta hoon aur shayad issise mujhe pyar bhi huva naki sirf aapki chehre ko dekh kar.' He realizes what he just commented and says 'Mera matlab ye nahin ki aap bahar se khoobsoorat nahin hain' 😊

Anandi is suddenly blushing hearing all the compliments she is getting from a man whom she now knows loves her. She was feeling kind of awkward because she is not able to reciprocate the same for Shiv. Shiv also thinks that Anandi was probably feeling embarrased but it was necessary for him to clear the air between them.

Shiv then says 'Aap bhiti baaton ko buladijiye. Jo bhi huva woh circumstances aisi hi thi.We can start afresh and be friends.'
Anandi does not know what to say and is still trying to grasp what all Shiv had just said.
He pauses and then extends his hand and says 'So, Friends ?' Anandi is amused and extends her hand and both of them shake hands.

They start driving back and there is silence in the car for sometime. Anandi suddenly says 'Collector ...'
Shiv interrupts her and says 'Anandiji aap please mujhe mere naam se bulaiye naki mere position se.' He sees that Anandi is uncomfortable at the suggestion and says 'hum kitni mahino se ek doosre ko jaante hain and now we are friends too.

Anandi is very hesistant and says 'Haan woh toh hai, lekin Yeh sahi nahin hoga collector...' and stops and sees Shiv glaring at her. So, he says 'teek hai. hum log aisi hi formal rahenge ek doosre ke saath aur main bhi aapko aaj se,aaj se kyun abhi se, Sarpanchji bulaunga. Then, it will be all ok.'
Anandi sees that Shiv is angry. She smiles and finally says 'Teek hai main koshish karungi ki main aapko aap ki naam se bulane ki.'

On the way back, she gets a call from home and DS is asking her where she is. Anandi tells her 'Dadisa main collec..' stops and remembers what Shiv had just told her and says 'Dadisa mein...' pauses .. 'Shiv ji ke saath hoon.. ab aur hum log hotel ki taraf drive kar rahe hai. 'Anandi tells how she met Shiv in Shimla and DS is ecstatic to hear that Anandi is calling Shiv as Shivji. She thanks her Devi maa and thinks ' Agar kisi cheez ko dil se chaaho to puri kayanat usey tumse milane ki koshish mein lag jaati hai.'😊

Shiv is super happy that she has accepted him as a friend and also called him by his name. He smiles to himself thinking that atleast Anandi is one step closer to him than before although he knows he has many more steps to climb to make her his forever.
