NICE POST!😊 Shiv doesnt deserve a no agreed but Anandi needs time

Hehe, I agree with you, with the way his character has been portrayed so far, he definitely doesn't deserve an outright refusal 😍 But I think Anandi's refusal isn't as much as negating the proposal of marrying Shiv as much as it is negating the proposal of marrying again, period. I took a break from the show, and to be honest, started watching it again only when I heard news of Anandi's supposed new man :P, so what I'm saying is based only on what I've seen in the episodes since Shiv's entry, but I think that she's become a stronger person in general...and in particular, she's become more wary of non-familial men. I think that's very well-encapsulated in how Shiv calls Anandi by her name itself (with or without suffixing the 'ji' :P) and never 'Sarpanch ji' or something, but she always refers to him as 'Collector saab'. And as of now, it's only her subconscious which too has just begun to acknowledge that she might be falling for him too (dreams of the seashore with colour-coordinated clothes :P) So it's obviously going to take her some time to even open herself up to the possibility of being in a relationship again...so I actually empathized with her decision of saying no. :S

I thought it's rather weird, and uncharacteristic on Dadi-saa's part to go around trying to fix the two of them up...Dadi-saa's always been portrayed as a perceptive woman, she might be conservative, but she's always been quick to understand the knack of human relationships...and given the humiliation and sheer cruelty Anandi's suffered at both Jagya and Gauri's hands, and how she's recovered from that (so to speak) almost single-handedly, simply on her individual strength, I thought Dadi-saa would have understood, as Bhairav seems to have done, that Anandi needs to come to terms with even the idea of marriage and love on her own terms. Just pushing the two of them together like this would hardly have augured for Anandi's happiness either, which what I guess DS wants :S
