no i dont agree she is arrogant about it. she is not very sensible but she is not arrogant abt being a doc. the reason i go to such lengths is that ppl r equating docs with gauri hey yaar aisa nahi hai, doc girls r just regular gilrs , regular issues , gauri is not nice character due to her nture not due to her profession.

Many incidents occurred to prove same:

1. She taunted Anandi about being a chula chauke wali thereby implying that as a dc she is a better catch for Jagya.

2. She told Jagya not to worry if he hasn't got his MS because soon he will have it too and will reach her level thereby implying that she is superior.

Those are just two examples I remember. I'm sure other members might remember more. Bottom line is that Gauri is extremely arrogant about her achievements and her title of doctor. Granted doctors save lives but so do EMT's, so do nurses, so too does a mother when she prepares and sends her family off every day to face the world. The noblest profession or calling if you will, in the world is being a mother because a mother shapes the thinking of future generations to come.

i dont want them to suffer forever ... yes they have wornged anandi but also done her a great service otherwise how cud she meet shiv?

also they r not murderers or sex offenders or criminals of highest order. ok i want them to suffer to a point proportional to thei deeds ... not disproportional.

ultimately if jaggi and gauri lkive some kind of life , they will leave others to live ther own peacefully ie shiv and anandi and jaggi's family. it wud be better for all.

ur right about CVs setting an exaMPLE ABOUT AUDLTRY BTU THEN THEY SHUD BE SETTING EXAMPLES FOR all inlaws torturing their bahus but rarely that is hsown.

the thing is the mentality of finding a wife being boss as something funny is not good and shud nto be supported which is what jaagi's friends were basing their mazaaks on. im sure if u remove jaggi n gauri even u wud have found those line sin extremely poor atste. no i dont agree to CVs trying to make this situation out to be a negative and worthy of jokes at all and i dont want them to promote this mentality.
