😆Sahi baat hain Surabhi...I agree that MS pehena personal choice hai..main bhi apne office main nahi pehenti..😕 Lekin MS ka hamesha respect karna chahiye..

I agree in south its a big deal if one wears their MS or not.

Usually the parents make a big fuss about it as it carries a lot of weight for them.

in the north its been the sindoor so if Gehna and Sumitra are not shown wearing it then its according to their customs.

I am not sure if gawari wears sindoor? does she?

When Gauri's marriage isnt even legal why all the fuss over her mangalsutra.

I think it depends on your own beliefs and culture. Some women don't even wear sindoor so what a mangalsutra. Only the past few years my mum wore a manglasutra again she had one before but point is she hasn't worn one all the time during her married life.

I loved Gauri's argument that she apparent knows the value of a mangalsutra more than anyone else but fact is she she married an already married man and Jagya who was married and cheated on Anandi suddenly think he knows the value of a mangalsutra when he has no respect for marriage.

Remember that senior doctor was talking to Gauri. Jagat wants to make sure that everyone at Gauri's workplace knows that she is a married woman. He is afraid that the senior doctor might start liking Gauri in different way.
