Technically Anandi is free to start a fresh lease of life with a new life partner, given the fact she has accepted J & G's relationship, but CVs lack clarity in potraying her character, they project her as though still rooting for J in some ways

no one blamed anandi for anything to do with relationship and Jagat moving on . what r u talking about suchi?

Everyone wants her to move on and encourages her and supports her in whatever she does. The support her over there son and his girlfriend.

An apt question? Even though times have changed people still throw stones at women...If your man strayed then it's something u did wrong that he went astray...women should remain sati savithri all the time!Nobody wants to know her loneliness and pain...At a hint of whisper abt woman's reputation people are ready to throw stones and malighn her name!😡Poor grass widows ...what a plight they are in

I dont think that anyone expects her to remain sati savitri or to stay stuck after jagya ditched her. It is not the fact that she has "fallen in love with shravan" but the fact that she has "eloped with him" that makes her "suspect" in the eyes of the villagers. It is considered quite shameful that bhairon and sumitra also dont know where she is and have had to file a police case. And jewellery is missing, and she left with a bag and shravan's parents go around saying that beendhni used to come every day to their home.

We the viewers know that this is not true and that she has been kidnapped by heth singh or dhongi baba -- but the villagers dont know that. To their naked eye, she has eloped with him.

That being said I agree with the villagers that anandi as a beendhni has way too much choot to roam all around jayetsar in the name of "samaj seva" and this is the reason she gets involved with several enemies. I dont say that her causes are wrong, but most of them would not enter her frame of reference if she limited her movements somewhat - in her own interest.

I am sure the villagers would have been okay with it if bhairon and sumitra had formally organized her re-marriage and announced that they wanted their beendhni to be married again.
