hehe sreevask : )

thanks

There was a point that I remember one of the elders whom I knew spoke.

He said Freedom is Freedom as long as it does not effect others freedom

He gave an example : That people say they can do what ever they want as they have the freedom to do so. He then took his hand and started swaying it right and left and the person in front of him started blinking his eyes, as the hand was almost about to hit him.

He then said, my moving the hand is freedom of will exercised by me, but once it comes into your realm of discomfort, it bears responsibility

Even for the momentary discomfort I am causing you now which is causing you to blink , I am going to be held responsible in the eyes of GOD unless I seek your forgiveness.

=====

Every action small or big , of human beings has an effect. We are creations of Will have to bear that responsibility unlike other creations like Animals, Trees , birds etc as they do not really have a will power like we do.

Our actions lead to serious changes, good or bad. And thus the rules, And thus the societal norms which in turn forces us to abide in certain manner to maintain balance and harmony.

Exaaactly my point !!
when you don't love your spouse...just divorce him/her...so that he/she also gets the freedom to love someone else!...(and if your wife/husband is financially poor to think of anytihng beyond survival...just make up well for it...!!)

I would always suggest..be responsible and have lot of freedom...

I am just so tired of serious discussion...and ok I admit I don't like marriages so much...but since I am bored ..here is my rant!!...please don't take my rant seriously, because I myself am not writing it seriously...(however I am serious about this that marriage need not be for everyone)

I am a Hindu...and NONE of my Gods have advocated marriage...They have completely avoided preaching anything about marriage.---and for good reasons. They avoided marriage customs on earth!! Krishna ji and Radha ji, never got married to each other...atleast they didn't follow the regular social custom stuff, because they knew how absurd it was!...Lord Rama & Sita ji got married ...but even they got tired of the customs--- Lord Rama could do no injustice to anybody---and I bet He didn't leave Sita ji...he must have had a personal conversation with Sitaji--which obviously He's not going to tell us about----but I bet He must have told her something like this--"Dear Sita...I love you so much..and I know how weird are earthly marriages ..its just not worth keeping them. I am so much in love with You, that I want to relieve you from the life of these married humans!!...I tell you, go to woods...even in a forest you'll be happier than you would have been being tied to illogical marriage customs. We'll be together in Paradise."
Ganga ji, who's a devi abandoned her marriage with King Shantanu. Mira ji, cared zilch about her husband...inlaws and the whole set of customs...because they were expecting just too much!...
Hanuman ji never got married...Gautam Buddha decided to walk out of His marriage too...ofcours for better reasons because He is one of the Gods...ofcours He will have better reasons than any mortal huma has...but He didn;t put up with strange expectations in marriages too!.

I can't think of even one of my Gods...who stuck to being married on earth...because They KNEW worldly marriages are not worth it!!...Even my Gods can't put up with the weird marriage rules on earth...and if my Gods can't put up with such marital customs...how can I?

ok it was a time pass rant...😆

ok...

I guess it's just different outlooks to life, but the vortex of craving is just never ending.

The reasons why Jagya has left Anandi and fallen for Gauri point to the endless cycle of desire, which in real life has no limit. The real life Jagyas will keep feeding their desires in the name of finding new love and will not stop with one Gauri. Yes, if we support fanning such desires, then Jagya is justified in leaving Gauri too.

@woman 11 .

.loved reading what u wrote ..ya there is no end to the path of desires ...You hav perfectly pinpointed Jagya's mindset ...he craves for more though even he himself admits maybe that Anandi was never a bad wife

@vasuja

yr topic is good ...to ponder ...as an adult he can fall in & out of love ..any adult should be using his own mind n conscience to decide on that ...

Thanks arunima

I started the topic becuase I felt that while GaGa marriage was accepted and proved right in the name of love, Jagya's another marriage to any girl after Gauri was considered bad and wrong...I feel that when we set a moral compass, it does not waver with person or situation...If we believe that people in love need to marry and say it is ok to discontinue a loveless marriage then it is the same for everybody and every one. it cannot change based on age or person.

Personally I feel that every marriage needs a lot of work. it is normal to loose interest or feel bored in the course of married life...honeymoon period does not last forever...but couple need to work together and give their best to work it...because how many ever times we marry, the honeymoon period always ends and normal life returns back.

though there is a diffrence now ..Jagya has chosen Gauri himself ..so he would not hav family support systems to help through in his journey with Gauri ..his responsibilities increase n in this marriage he has to take all the responsibility of his actions ...unlike earlier when he could say he had been forced into marriage ..this time he cant blame anyone but only himself

👏Memorable message👏
you have simply summed up what should happen when we have TRUE LOVE.wonderful..
As long as we do not learn to share our views(J never did this with A),Care for partner's interests,there is no meaning to love/marriage or even life!

If Jagat loves girl 3 and stops loving Gauri and he is ready to give gauri settlement then what will happen. If jagat says ," Sorry Gauri. I did love you. But now I realise that we have changed a lot and we have different approach to life. I no more love you. I only love girl 3 now. I think it is better to go in our own ways rather than paining each other. I will give the monthly money and do proper settlement." What can be done...jagat is very capable of saying that...People are supporting his actions in the name of love...but my argument is that love has no permanence in jagat's world...I feel love changes with time and if the person does not have the maturity to understand it then he will always think that they are out of love...I don't consider Jagat mature at all, which he has proved again and again...So when people close their eyes tightly shut and support GAGA marriage in the name of love. then even GAG3 marriage should be supported in the name of love...
