@anmol: I guess it goes without saying that the posts referred to were not only between you three discussing your private lives---there were plenty of references to many of the other discussions or posts in the forum. If you want, I can cite these statements and quotes line by line, but I don't think you will have the patience for that, nor do I want to waste my time on that.😛

Regarding victimization, when a person states things like "I don't care what people think about me" or "people can't judge me and I will just believe what I believe" or " anything we write about Anandi gets warning" , I understand that the person is taking the criticism of a fictional character on a very personal level. Hence the point about victimization. I can give you a concrete example of that---a few days back I had commented on a post that certain people do blame the rape victims too with certain derogatory comments. The immediate retort was "don't judge us, you don't know us"!!!! Yeh lo! Did i say you people think so? It's absurd for me to comment on what you think about rape victims since you have never spoken about rape victims. And yet you took it as a personal attack on you.

There are plenty of examples like that. But anyway, my point was you can't stop anybody from commenting on certain characters no matter how hurt you feel or how angry you get. Just as nobody can stop you from commenting on Anandi. So join the discussion and enjoy the forum. Please don't take these things personally and say people are judging you.😃

absolutely agree Suchi----asking why you support a character may be a part of the discussion. In fact, asking 'why' actually opens up scope for alternative view points, I don't know what is so upsetting about it. I have stopped asking the WHY question to any GAGA fan--------once I asked someone (don't remember who) why he/she supports GAGA marriage without informing Anandi and in response I was royally snubbed with "That's my POV, I am not asking anyone to agree with me and I don't think I need to explain anything to you." Lo kar lo baat, I was looking forward to a discussion, instead I got rudely snubbed for asking WHY. So I don't ask that question any more, I guess people take it too personally and get defensive. 😕

some discussions might lead to why you like certain gestures of certain characters but does that mean that you are questioning the integrity of the person?We are all virtual entities here-------the suchi who argues for Anandi is just a part of the real person, one cannot figure out the whole person by what he or she does or says in the forum. The same goes for me or anyone who participates in the discussion. I am sick and tired of seeing people projecting themselves as if they need to prove themselves as a person. Why say I support GAG/ Anandi and nobody can judge me or I don't care what people think about me. Why should anybody think anything about me as a person in the first place? Nobody even knows who I am or what I do or for that matter any other info about me. I might use the usename woman11 but I might be an old, retired grandpa, or a middle aged househusband or a transexual teenager boy aspiring to be a woman🤣-------ok I am really a 'normal' woman, but just saying it for arguments' sake. The point is it is impossible to judge the real person by the forum posts. Then why take things so personally?

But anyway, I guess the point is conveyed very clearly. Hope people will feel free to join in discussions and take counter arguments sportingly.

Gauri is one such character that I never understand anything she does, or says!!!...It logically doesn't make sense to me!! To me the genre of this show is comedy now, and I'll see it to get some dose of senseless humor!!

nice posts my POV i like anandi for her simplicity and her social resposibility my POV i don't want her to accept jagya and if she does so i will mock at her for being stupid my POV When I sawthese 2 girls fighting for a loser I felt like knocking both there heads my POV i am here to have fun and healthy arguments and think that should be the norm in the forum my POV

I thought of using my POV instead of full stop because it seemed fashionable and in trend😉. And I love to be in trend these days.Saves my puny brain from exertion of thinking hard for myself😆😆.

Maybe some folks has critisized Gaga supporters for their stand in the past, maybe thats what caused gaga supporters to feel this way. After I started coming to the forum I have only seen one such post which the moderators closed anyway.

yaar main toh hamesha Anandi ke defense mein logic dene ke liye taiyar ho jati hun. If I support something, there is some logic in it and I don't feel offended to share my logic. I don't remember shutting off someone with "that's my POV response". But it seems to be an easy way out, logically argue karke kyun time waste kare.😆 I like Anandi and that's my point of view. I think Gauri needs a counsellor and that's my POV. I thinks Jagat needs to be royally punished and that's my POV. Actually, it makes life easier instead of discussing your choices at length.

I agree with Antara, Vasuga and Suchi - people may ask why, people may ask what about this thing that Anandi did or that - do u still like her - whether you want to answer such questions is upto you. You can always ignore questions you dont want to answer. My funda is ignore posts that are rude and personal and just take part in the healthy discussions. Unless there are attacks on one personally, I am not sure why one would or should feel bad if their fav characters are critisized. I like Anandi, but I dont feel bad at all if folks critisize her or call her names. I critisize Gauri and Jagat a lot and sometimes Anandi too, if I cant state my opinions freely here then what is the point in coming here.

agree with you Rach1. Even I haven't seen any posts---except the one that you mentioned-----that bashed the supporters personally or judged them as people. But it's really sad if there's so much of a defensive attitude, it's like treading in a field full of land mines---------u really don't know what will hurt people.😭😭 Even criticizing the characters seem to be interpreted as personal attacks😕😕
