Is parents approval necessary

There is discussion tht Jogia sd take blessing or permission of his parents or not or even if any lovers need their parents approval or not. May be after living most part of my life in open society, my thought still seems not MUCH MODERN, but I m very confidant and firmly believe in it.

I m supporter of freedom of individual and a person must fight for his choice. But I also believe tht if u live in a society or in a family, u hv to do some compromises and not think only ME and MYSELF. And if u think like tht thn u sd also not expect anything from anybody.

Here I will concentrate only if two loving bird need approval of their parents to marry or just they sd revolt and not care thm and do wht they think better, particularly in Jogia case. There r few parents who treat their children like their property, and can even sell thm for their benefit🤢. We r not talking here abt such parents. The second category of parents (99.999%), who love their children and r very supportive. They do everything for the welfare of their children. There might be generation gap and their thought cd not match to the more educated and modern son or daughter but they never think bad for thm. I think Jogia parents can fall in such category, who were very supportive and their INTENSION was always good⭐️.

I read a post here by a girl KyunkiImafan, who is fighting to convince her parents for 2 yrs and still waiting for their approval👏. I can just salute her⭐️. Why we think tht if we revolt our parents, we r so modern and if we do compromise with thm we r so conservative. Dont our parents do compromise for us??? Don't the sacrifices their own happiness, their own wishes, even their own ambition for us??? Don't they try to convince us whn we do Jidd in our childhood or they just leave us on our haal?. Why we don't revolt tht time??? Only becoz we r depended on thm? and now we r independent and can do wht ever we want? We don't need their support anymore so now its ideal time to revolt against thm and show our modernity and SELFISHNESS😡. Why we cant try to convince thm, as our parents use to do in our childhood whn we do Jidd. if u r so confidant, u sd fight for ur love (fighting means not revolt, but fighting to convince thm), if they didn't abandoned us against our jidd, thn why we sd abandon thm now?? Very gd morality👎🏼, whn u need thm, whn u were depended on thm did compromises but whn u r self dependent (thnx to the same parents) u sd not care abt thm and even not try to convince thm just revolt👎🏼.

If u tried ur best with patience and did everything, but still cd not convince thm, thn u hv two choices, either u sacrifice ur happiness for the sake of ur parents, to atleast payback, whn u can do something for thm (I believe no one can fully payback their parents, but atleast u can try to make thm happy) or u sd politely firmly stick to ur decision and go for ur love and ur own happiness and leave everything on time, but don't try to impose urself in tht situation, may be time will make realize ur parents, the only satisfactory factor is tht u tried ur best to convince thm. Personally I wd choose first option, becoz for me nothing more important thn my parents happiness. Love is not everything in life. AUR BHI GAM HAI JAMANE ME MOHABBAT KE SIWA. Ask a person, who lost his parents in young age, the feeling tht he cd not do anything for his parents, whn he become able to do, haunt whole life😭. U will fell the importance of ur parents only whn they will not be wth u, but tht will be too late😭. I cant criticize those who choose second option, but I can only say they choose easy opton. Doing sacrifices or compromises for ur family and parents, is not symbol of weakness but strongeness. Choosing ur own happiness over others is always easy thn sacrificing ur own happiness for the sake of others.

In JAGO CASE, they choose the worst option available.

First of all Jogia hd no rit to seek love adventure WITHOUT BREAKING HIS RELATION WITH ANANDI, if he found his marriage was mistake😡,

secondly their love story itself was based on lie and cheat, so fundament of the building itself was weak and with weak fundament, u cant build strong home👎🏼.

thirdly, trying for approval is far away they even didn't feel necessary to inform thm😡.

fourthly, after doing everything they went to put salt on their wound. If they didn't care taking their approval and decided thmself thn why all this drama after. If u don't think tht they hv rt to impose their decision on u thn how u can impose ur decision on thm😡.👎🏼

so in Jogia case, his decision, his intention, his approach, his behavior everything was wrong, and supporting him in his wrong action and being a part of it, Gauri is also a part of this wrong action😡

I think parents approval/acceptance is necessary dependent on the parents. The reason i say this is because in some cases there are bad parents in this world. Parents who have abused their kids mentally, derpived them emotionally and neglected them all their lives willingly and knowingly. In these cases i do not believe the children of these parents need the approval to carry on with their lives, how would these parents know what is good for their children when they have done nothing good for there kids since the day they were born>

BUT for parents who have nurtured their kids, loved them, clothed them, educated them and showed that what behavour is right and wrong, then they should be included in the decision making process. We have not known ourselves as long as our parents have known as. So i believe we owe them the decency to inlcude them in the decision which will dramatically change the our lives. And if our life choices are correct and our parents are levelled headed people, there will be no reason whey they wouldnt agree with our life choices.

But then there are situations when parents do fail to understand our points of view, in this case, rather then revoliting and doing what we want, we should perservere and try to reach a compromise or solution with our parents, because sincerly without the blessings of our parents we can truly be happy in our decision. Maybe that makes me traditional and a bit out dated, but there are some things which our parents would/should have better knowledge and understanding of then we think we would.

@ankit very gud post!!!👏👏👏👏⭐️⭐️⭐️i agree wid u completely. u've said almost all the things which i beleive & think!!👏👏👏👏
i m by nature a rebel & straight 4ward & also believe in the right 2 choose life partener & type of life but i can't think of my happiness at the cost of my family who educated me & supported me thru out all my bad phases. we may've sum sort of differences wid them may b due 2 generation gap but that don't give us the freedom 2 hurt them wenever we like!!
we shud stand up 2 the injustices done by our parents( esply those who treat their children as property like in the show "laado") but the type of parents J has got its a pure insult of their luv, care & support!!🥱🥱🥱
and u r so rite that the ppl who don't've parents or any of the parents they know the value of them! i myself always miss my dad. and though in one case i m also adamant but oderwise i never try 2 hurt my mom who after my father's death 15 yrs. ago sent us 4 higher educn & always supported us!! 👏👏

👏 absolutely agree, the base of my post is absolutely same and Thts why I also divided parents in two category in beginning of my post. As we r discussing here in jogia context and I hv no doubt tht they fall in good parents category. Jogia didn't find necessary to seek their approval, becoz he knew he was wrong and cd not convince thm. Thts why he choose easy and wrong way. He even didn't try. 😡

Very beautifully written Ankit. I feel sorry for those unfortunate parents whose kids choose thier selfishness over them. In the western world a student pursues higher education at his own expense raising a personal loan. They have thousand of dollars to repay even before they start their lives. It is really fortunate to have Indian parents who take care of every need of their children including raising personal loans for the higher education of their children & make them fully independent in their lives. No child who truly loves his parent would never ever do anything to give them pain for all the sacrifices and pain they take to make him/her what they are.

awesome post Ankit!

Imagine our lives with out parents?
Its really bad. They are there in good and bad. Sickness and health all the time. They give up their entire lives for their children but when the kids grow up they tend to think that they know better than the parents. Probably they might see things differently but that does not give them the right to raise their voice against them or shout or disrespect.

Once I went grocery shopping and I heard this teen age girl should at her mother filled with attitude.

I just wanted to go and smack that girl.

And kids now a days do that. They always argue and raise their voice against their parents. But on a personal level my brother and I never raise our voices on our parents.

My younger brother he knows I get very upset when he argues (sometimes)

And I just tell him clearly that your mother did not have to raise you to what you are today , rather there are parents who dump their children and never give them opportunity to have a good life.

So what she did is out of pure care and unconditional love and if she does not get the respect she deserves then you will hear the worst from me. lol and I am a very strict everything ( mom, sis and even wife lol)

my husband I have never heard him raise his voice on his father. He is in his late 30's but would never go against his parents. Which is something I respect!

No matter what generation and time I think the status of Parents is above all relationships and one must realize its importance and not take that relationship to be granted.

And 👏 to kiynkimilanfan i was like wow such agood decision !!!

Proud of you !!!

absolutely rit dolly, whatever I told is absolutely on the basis of my experience of life and not and not hypothetical theory. I also lost my parents in young age both within one yr interval and the feeling tht I cd not do anything for thm haunt for me constantly and will haunt whole my life. Thts why whenever I hear anything like to revolt against ur parents for ur own happiness on the name of SO CALLED MODERNITY, I can't stop myself putting my opinion. If my voice can make realise a single person the real value of their parents, which they can't in their life time, I will feel some satisfaction.

Luved this post⭐️ 👍🏼ankit, very heartfelt... and i totally agree with you on all the points..
What jagat is doing now is rubbing salt on everyone's wounds-the world wouldn't have ended had they waited for sometime before barging in flashing marriage certificate on their faces..😲
I entirely believe in -
AUR BHI GHAM HAI ZAMANE MEIN MOHABBATH KE SIVAA....🤔

And to it i'll add..🤔

Chhodd de saari duniya kisi ke liye..
🤔yeh munaasib nahin aadmi ke liye..
pyaar se bhi zaroori kayi kaam hain
pyaar sab kuchh nahin zindagi ke liye..🤔..
