Also, when Gehna was talking about the past, like when he came back after 5 years and spent all the time with Anandi, (the sindoor scene, the ankle scene, standing up for anandi, those loving looks and the consummation) why didnt he say anything in retaliation, those instances where used to show the flaws in his reasoning, so why didnt he justify himself. He didnt because again he knew deep down what Gehna was saying was all correct.
So he can harp on as much as he likes, saying it wont change what the truth is, and the truth is that he did love Anandi, even though he so vehemently denies it now. The only reason he is denying it is because otherwise his actions wont have any justification or foundation to stand on.
