Slow motion is normally used when a scene happens so fast that the chances of missing a scene are high. This episode was too slow for me with too much of flashbacks.

Admittedly Jagya was hesitant to face his demons but the whole episode was virtually a flashback and a lesson in fear management.

To give the benefit of the doubt to the location manager it is possible that this location was in a very different place to the one in Uttaran. But any member who watches both BV and Uttaran would find a peculiar similarity between the site of Vansh's death (Uttaran) and the site of Anandi's scene where she is shot.

I also thought that this place was accessible only by boat. Obviously I was wrong.

My other observation is that the director of BV made Avika into a perky, happy go lucky, impish character. This just does not come through with Pratyusha. She is always looking subdued, worried and even her smile seems forced. Wish the director would get her to become a bit like the young Anandi. She has only grown up not become someone else.

Not only did Anandi convert Jagya but now there are dancing in the same place where Anandi was shot – how is that for fear???

Agree on all the points that you made... 👍🏼

Specially the one on Pratyusha...I might be biased in my opinion on new Anandi ..... but Bubbliness is definitely not her Forte ! She has this sad sulky subdued expression on her face that the whole happy go lucky nature looks forced to me ! I am not able to accept Pratyusha till date as Anandi, she has somehow failed to fill Avika's shoes, Avika was way much better with her expressions and dialogs. I am sure many of them might disagree.. but its my perspective !

It is always difficult to step into someone else's shoes specially when the previous actor was so very good at what she did.

However, even Avika had help from the director so I cannot understand why the director is not aware (or seems to be unaware) that Pratyusha's mannerism's are not like Avika. All the director needs to do is to help her to see how best to mimic Avika's characteristics. She is new and it was never going to be easy for her so why not help her.

She is pretty (tho' I wish the hair stylist would do something better with her hair) and I am hopeful with some help she could come close to our expectations.

Yes..absolutely..I would partly blame the director as well.. the men behind the camera should have seen it by now and done something about it.... and I simply hate the hairstyle that they have given Anandi (from day one, earlier it was messy and now it completely looks artificial)... it doesn't suit her face or personality... hope they change that asap.. I am sure with a different hair style she will look much better..like all other women in BV.. Sumitra, Gehna, Sugna, Sugna's MIL everybody's hairstyle looks natural and not made up...

the flash back scenes were quite ok for me.......
just want to show the phobia.........okok...........
but in the 2nd part i think the emotions and dialogs are very less....
the transaction of jag is so sudden for me..................😳
anandi said two lines.......and his phobia gone..........
uska dialog "haan yeh toh maine socha nehin tha ,main kyun daroon is jagah se".........little bit ........unrealistic..............😕
and ofcourse anandi hairstyle is not good as compare to other Bv ladies......

There is another difference between avika and new anandi. Avika voice was full of confidence and had a little bid of commanding tone but new anandi voice barely has any confidence and leave apart the commanding tone.

@Vrinda - good observation..New Anandi is too submissive and subdued.. Always in "Ji Huzoor" mode 😆

@divya,
u got it right there... she is in a "ji huzoor" mode most of the time... other than the past 2 episodes may be.... but then isnt this what we really expect of a child bride to grow up to? some one who was a chirpy free bird.. caught and constrained to the cages of matrimony... bombarded with the societal rules... forced to parrot the tongue of the the world around her and dance to their tunes... in such circumstances, wasnt this bound to happen? just my 2 cents...

@ sudss

Your 2 cents is a point well made. Change is bound to happen but not to the extent of becoming so submissive.

@khusi_*

I agree that Jagya's submission was in a record time but nothing surprises me anymore. Slow in the beginning and then race at the end.

Consistency in the serial would help it a lot.
