first of all, thanks for the great update....
probably, i too missed the track when Sugna was almost on deathbed during the delivery of the girl child..Shagun....
so, obviously, this reason will give RS more reasons in future to haunt and taunt Sugna....that the heir of the property should not be Varun and that the biological child of Shyam is a daughter who has to eventually go to her in-laws' place...and so, she had failed to give a son to the family (probably in the form of a second biological child of Shyam)....am dead sure....this negative character will definitely raise this issue in future.....
