Vikrant Massey, popularly known as Shyam of Balika Vadhu lost his closest childhood friend on recently.

He was in the middle of the Indian Television Academy Awards, when this news came to the channel. This was not told to Vikrant throughout the awards night. When the news was broken to him, he was completely shattered.

The channel, however, had to request him to stay back to complete portions of his performance. A thorough professional, Vikrant cooperated and gave a good performance before rushing to see his friends and family.

and i was wondering why i couldn't see vikrant in that function other than his performance..
