For a change...

At the end of every incident maasa ends up saying I told you so. But after the birth of Gehna's baby boy for a change maasa accepted that she was wrong and doctors arent useless afterall. I was wondering if maasa's conservativeness has something to do fact that all her dire predictions come true...

I think she really changes her opinion based on the situation. She is only right when the response is from people of her own kind. She has never been right when it comes to people with broad outlook. Ultimately, she really is a control freak..she likes things her way and that's why she constantly yells at her family since they don't go by her rules.
There have been instances where they have shown her being nice, like today, but some of her atrocities are so bad that it will be hard for her to redeem herself.

Yes Priya well said.. she changes according to situations.. and she likes things ONLY in her ways.. but she will get a slap when Gehna hands her son over to massa and leaves the house.. and massa will have no choice but to stop her or call her back.

i agree..she dsnt really want to torture her family bt the moment sum1 has his os her own opinion she gets so insecure tht she ends up being incredibly evil..bt in this case frankly the way she behaved in the hospital regarding gehna was unredeemable..their is no justification or excuse no matter what..

yeah true, for the 1st time she realized that she was wrong..and the doctors saved the child and the mother!

Again the decision she thinks right is going to back fire.. Gehna has some spine to keep her pride and will be walking out of massa'a haveli..

maybe she was nice...but i guess she has a purpose to stop gehna too rather than she suddenly realizing she dearly loves gehna. first of all even if baby died/was a girl she wouldnt have let gehna go for family prestige. secondly who can be a better caregiver to a child than his own mother? kalyani is smart enough to know that. she wont spend her old age running after a toddler. i agree despite her temporary niceness which is due to things going her way she cannot be excused.
