Jagya and anandi leave gehna's room to let her n kid rest. panditji tells that they can have the namkaram done after 21 days. maasa tells bhairav to arrange everything and panditji to make the kundali of the kid. panditji leaves n maasa starts discussing abt the name of the kid. Bhairav tells that they have to know the letter , so have to wait till panditji tells them. maasa happily says that, they can decide on some name that they can call with love and for the actual name,they can wait till panditji tells the letter.
gehna has a small talk with the kid abt how the kid wld get so much love in the house that he wld never miss his mother. She hugs the kid n cries. Maasa calls sumitra to her room. She is making some laddoo for gehna and talks abt taking care of gehna. She then tells sumitra to talk to gehna and try to make her understand that she needn't have to leave the house. Maasa says that she had said all that cos she was angry but the kid requires the mother and they r all a family and she cares abt gehna n the kid. maasa tells that sumitra only can change her decision cos gehna will never understand maasa.
Sumitra gets milk for gehna and then while talking tells her to think abt the decision of leaving the house. She tells gehna to forget abt it. Gehna asks if maasa wld allow it. sumitra tells that maasa herself send her and that maasa too wishes gehna to remain here. She tells gehna to forget abt past and live for the kid. sumitra then leaves telling that the namkaran wld be done after 21 days and asks gehna to think abt a name.
jagya n anandi are thinking abt the name for the kid. anandi says that they can keep suraj or chand. jagya opposes it telling they are not having geography lessons. jagya then tells that they can keep akshay or abhishek......or hrithik. anandi says maasa wld not agree to names of film actors. jagya says that his brother is very cute so they will keep the name sunder but seeing anandi's angry face, he tells that its not a good name. both go to maasa to discuss abt the name but maasa is busy making something for gehna. when anandi n jagya insists she tells them to keep the name as mani singh. when anandi and jagya doesn't like it she tells them to keep the name soan singh. anandi-jagya dosn't like that name but still leave to tell the name to basant n gehna. but maasa calls back and tells them not to keep that name cos it was the name of her father in law so she doesn't want to call the kid with that name
basant, bhairav and sumitra are discussing abt the name. sumitra suggests sharad singh. bhairav suggests vishal, uday or aakash. anandi-jagya and maasa join them. basant asks maasa to perform the ritual of keeping the name, but maasa says that she doesn't want anything bad in the naamkaran and that she wants basant to do it. gehna is watching all these from the top floor
