Santa Claus is coming to town!!!

Tellydom Stars on their Christmas memories

We wish you a Merry Christmas, We wish you a Merry Christmas, We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Yes it is Christmas today and all are in a festive mood to celebrate this happy and beautiful occasion across the world. As this is a special day, Tellybuzz decided to put forth certain questions about their memories and how they spend their D Day. Along with that we popped up a general question regarding Christmas.

Take a look and enjoy the read!!!

Vikrant Massey:

Your ideal Christmas present (to get): Love from family and loved ones and nothing materialistic

What do you like to eat most during Christmas? I like eating plum cakes and sweets that we get in the Parish.

How do you normally spend your Christmas? Normally we go for the midnight mass on 24th night and spend the day with friends and family. But now, the work is such that I am not able to take time for that. But I always make sure that I visit Mount Mary Church at Bandra even if I am not able to attend the mass.

Any childhood memory of Christmas? There is lots of it. During the festive time my family and I used to go to a huge church in New Bombay, which is now no longer there. There used to be a huge piano there which was played for the choir and we, pleats of cousins, used to go and play with the keys making a lot of noise. I remember the choirs, the hymns and the mass and they are all good memories that I have as a kid.

Which animal is traditionally eaten for Christmas? Turkey

Netthra Kapoor and Pratyusha Banerjee

Anandi (Pratyusha Banerjee) has been facing Dadisa's (Surekha Sikri) wrath in Balika Vadhu ever since she stopped Gully's (Netthra Kapoor) marriage with Het Singh's (Sanjay Batra) son. Anandi has already landed herself in jail when Het Singh accused her of kidnapping Gully.

A source says, "In coming episodes Anandi will have to appear in court as she does not get a bail. Gully's parents will force her to testify against Anandi. However at the last moment she changes her mind and gives a statement in favour of Anandi. Therefore Anandi wins the case and will come out of lockup. Further after hearing Gully's story court also holds Het Singh responsible for his son's illegal marriage with Gully against her wish. He will be announced guilty and will send to jail, this incident will infuriate him very much and he will again threaten to take revenge from Anandi's family."

"On the other hand Mahavir Singh will soon disappear from the show. He is happy that his son has accepted him as his father and now he thinks it is a right time for him to leave the house and go back to his village Nagaur. His character is going to end at this point of time in the show."

Pratyusha remained unavailable for the comment.

Everything is fair in love and war and it seems Jagdish (Shashank Vyas) believes that, as in the forthcoming episodes of the show he will not be able to hide his feelings for Gauri anymore and will go down on his knees for her.

Our source says, "We are currently shooting for two contrasting situations in the show. In one sequence Anandi gets permission to watch a Maa Santoshi movie but when she reaches the cinema hall she finds it is playing Dabangg. She sits there and imagines her husband Jagdish in the movie instead of Salman Khan. Anandi is badly missing him and there would be a nice romantic song sequence between them."

A source continues, "On the other hand in Jagdish's medical college, he is completely smitten by Gauri. He makes up his mind to propose to her though initially he feels shy he gathers all courage and says those three magical words to her. Gauri is embarrassed and avoids saying anything to him. However she too confesses her love for him and then the couple will do a romantic scene with the song Do dil mil rahen hain which marks the beginning of their love story. Later we will try to show that how Anandi has been taking care of his family while Jagdish is completely lost in his love life."

Gauri-Jagdish
It's quite a shocking revelation on the show, when Jagya, who is married to Anandi, tells Gauri that he loves her. He feels that Gauri feels the same way about him because she is extremely supportive when he goes through a rough patch. Considering that he is already married, we have to wait and see how the audience reacts to this storyline.

Pratyusha Banerjee and Shashank Vyas

Jagdish (Shashank Vyas) may have returned to his house to spend some quality time with his family, but it seems his lady love Gauri's memories are not leaving him alone. In the coming episodes of Balika Vadhu this lover boy will get in serious trouble as Anandi will start to suspect him.

A source says, "Though Jagdish has returned to the family it is becoming hard for him to stay away from Gauri. He will keep missing her through out the day. In fact once he will even imagine Gauri as Anandi and will interact with her differently. But he will soon regain his senses and try to cover up. On the other hand Gauri's condition is also the same and thus she decides to call Jagdish and have a chat with her."

"The lovers will have a nice romantic talk and Anandi arrives at that time when Jagdish is confessing that he cannot live without Gauri anymore and is missing her terribly. He also assures her that he will come to Mumbai as soon as he can. Anandi overhears this conversation and is puzzled about the caller. She asks her husband for clarification and again Jagdish manages to make an excuse. Further we are also going to have MakarSankranti celebration in the show where the entire family will be busy in kite flying. Post this festival Jagdish is likely to come back to Mumbai."

Gehna goes 'modern' for her honeymoon!

Make font size smaller Make font size default Make font size larger
Neha Marda and Satyajit Sharma

The daughters-in-law of Maasa's family seem to like going the modern way when it comes to impressing their husbands in Balika Vadhu. After Anandi (Pratyusha Banerjee) who wore salwar kameez for her honeymoon it's her taisa, Gehna (Neha Marda) who will be seen in a salwar kameez and a new avatar now.

A source says, "Basant (Satyajit Sharma) who was suffering from malaria on the show will get well soon and will appreciate everything his wife has done for him. Since, he had been very unfair to her all this time he proposes to take her out. This will just not be an outing but their honeymoon. The two had got married in a situation when Gehna wasn't ready to accept him as her husband. They had never got an opportunity to spend time together but now they will. Gehna will agree to go out with him but before she leaves the haveli, Anandi and Sumitra (Smita Bansal) will pack a few salwar kameezes for her. Not just this they will also help her get some facial and some beauty treatment done so that she looks more beautiful and attractive.

"The honeymoon scene that's to be shot is going to be a mature honeymoon scene as the couple has a different level of understanding. Their love is that of a growing relationship and that will be shown on the screen. But, this does not guarantee that their relationship will be smooth sailing as the age bar still stands as a barrier in their relationship."

Neha says, "I am very happy and excited about my look change as I have just been wearing a lehenga and sari all this time on the show. About the honeymoon scene I do not know how I am going to do it as Satyajit and I have always had a different relationship on the show. These characters aren't very close to each other so let's see."
