When I started watching this serial I expected to find more of Shaan-Rajni interactions. Having a robot wife and then falling in love with her and complications later would be so interesting ! especially when the leads have such amazing chemistry ! Even Rajni's super powers to do jobs in kitchen and Aishwarya's tantrums to tackle that would have been good too !

But hell, they started more of this saas bahu nanand crap. So disappointing. Expected this serial to be different from otehr serials. In other serial, the bahu is supposedly strong willed, independent mind (?) etc and despite facing all odds in her sasural, overcomes them, here the only difference is that the bahu is a robot.

There are aspects of BHR that I personally feel do set it apart from the other serials out there, but the excessive saas-bahu-saazish stuff is irritating and exhausting, for sure. I watch the Kant women's scheming with minimal attention, because they're always being catty and show no signs of changing anytime soon. The other characters' relationships in the show are enjoyable to watch, though. I could list a bunch of combinations of characters that I really enjoy seeing - and thankfully those outnumber the ones that annoy me.

The reason I very quickly became emotionally attached to this show was the portrayal of the relationship between Shaan and Rajni. As you've said, the premise of an ambitious scientist potentially falling in love with his robotic wife is a fascinating one - and I really like how the writers have been handling the complexity of that so far. Plus, Karan and Ridhima are both incredibly talented actors and they're beyond brilliant together! Every scene of theirs is delightful!

Completely agree with you Aarti! I mentioned in another post as well, that given the depth of material they have on the show, there are a 101 different types of scenes and problems they can show us to induce comedy, and yet they fall back on the most inane and stupidest one known to man. I hope Shaan removes the adarsh bahu programme and Rajni shows these women their place😡
I really, really want to see some of sort of relationship blossoming between these two! I think in time, Rajni could possibly be capable of understanding friendship and how it works - and that could *hopefully* lead on to something a bit more in the future 😊

The story of a Robot becoming like a human, and a human falling in love with a robot of his own creation. THAT was the story I wanted to see! If anyone has seen "I Robot", it is an exploration of how a Robot develops a conscience and becomes like a human. Has emotions, has the ability to reason beyond logic, not just follow commands. Then this Robot gets accused of killing his inventor whom he called "My Father", and he denies it. The story is about how Will Smith's character who hates Robots helps him and understands him and they make a connection. He helps to exonerate him. It was SO beautiful and makes me tear up even thinking about that story.

But HERE? It started SO well, but too many silly women and kitchen politics as always Ruined the show. Turned it into another Saas Bahu torture fest with catty females and Nanad Bhabhi etc etc. WHY can't these people think beyond these petty and cheap subjects of cat fights? The relationships between the men and Rajini? Amazing. Armish and Surili? I enjoy. The brothers interactions, Dev and Shaan, Matthew scenes etc ALL good. Point to note the scenes with MEN in them are tolerable, but just women? Intolerable and downright despicable!

I really hope the makers LISTEN to the audience for once and tone down their sick and cheap women back biting women theme and go back to the way the story was at the start. Also concentrate on Rajini and Shaan! PLEASE it's a request to the makers! The audience that started to watch this show do NOT enjoy Saas Bahu twisted drama! Get that!

This entire reply sums up everything I've been feeling about the show as a whole! So thank you for speaking on behalf of all of us! 👏

@bold: THIS! Especially the first line - WORD to this! Whenever the focus is on Shaan-Rajni and the people who actually CARE about them, the show is an absolute joy to watch!

Character development is always appreciated...but when it takes too long for hints of that to arrive, patience does start to wear thin, unfortunately. With Shaan-Rajni, there is constant development and subtle evolution of their relationship as well as their individual personalities. The Kant men are also sketched with more layers than the women...I sincerely hope that all of the remaining female characters become more fleshed out before we give up on them entirely...I personally have given up on Surli and Co. but I'm holding out for some positivity because the other characters have grown on me too much for me to let them go.

Well contarary to all the comments here
This show is not a conventional show n it's truly different. What makes it different is the characters.

The story everything.

And there is no saas bahu drama except some typical dislike for rajni in every show there should be a villain n Kant ladies are that but the show makes it all so amazing with its quirky dialogue and situation.

Also from time to time robot rajni highlights the human contradiction and their complicated rules.

It's not originally but it's becoming due to stretching for more episodes. This shaan story is too much to handle I really want now that things get sorted they are ruining the fresh concept I want to watch more shajni scenes Surili Rajani scenes,Dev Mathew scenes, shan's uncontrollable attraction for rajani but then remembering that she is a robot then withdrawing, shan dev scenes so many things they have in stock in fact even gyan dhyan are funny and can act funnier but director is restricting everyone's capacity amrish has become irritating, surili's games are much more interesting with short solutions which end the matter quickly unlike amrish.
Hope they come on right track soon.
