And these two together really are like little kids...whatever it was they were doing with that balloon in that bit...lol ekdum random but they were looking cute😆...and when PJ pointed at their director...lol the two of them were looking like obedient kids looking up at their teacher😆

Namita's reaction to Meera being called a "Tubelight" by PJ was really cute too😆...he calls her that baar baar it seems...lol

Another bit I noticed was when PJ was giving the detailed explanation for why Abhi loves Meera, in the bit when he's mentioning how Meera takes such good care of Abhi's crazy family, Namita rolled her eyes and said, "Typical"...that was hilarious😆

I think we are getting all these daily BTSs cuz of this new media site "desi news feed"...they seem to have daily BTSs of all the soaps on air...

@Bold : Haaan...😆, break le leke hasta hain...😆 . His break wali hasi was visible in that Kaadha wala scene...

Namita's Laugh here when Priyanshu's says Turn On ...totally Infectious...

Such contrasts between the Raizadas and the Pants.
Meera is appreciated for trying to improve (sudharna chahti ho) though there's nothing wrong with her. While Abhishek has to bear the burden of setting an example for the kids and everybody looks up to him. A seemingly conservative family from a small place with minimal education and money think a divorcee deserves a second chance and it's not even an issue that deserves to be discussed.
While Papa Raizada thinks if Aman doesn't marry Meera it's the end of the world and is ready to do sifarish for the sake of his daughter's life (eye roll). This comes from a progressive and well off family from Delhi.

Mamma Raizada can't voice her opinion in front of Papa raizada and any doubts that she has have to be addressed secretly. Same with Rhea. I think she gets her training from her mother that it's beneficial for the girl to do as her husband pleases. Being a push over is dubbed as "making adjustments".
While the Pants have the most vocal women. I have never seen the women hesitate to voice their opinions. Yes, they show deference to Daadi but that doesn't mean they'll take shit from anyone.

Have to mention, PJ, for all his hyperactive energy, doesn't really dominante the interview in any way...also, doesn't seem all that boastful as an actor as well, neither of them in fact.. considering the way they react while directing and also while talking about their roles and characters. Just a couple of hardworking, sincere actors, with no hangups about life-didn't think someone like that exsited in this generation of actors 😆.

LOL yes even though on the surface it seems like PJ is the more hyper mastikhor of the two, Namita finds her way of getting some one liners in too😆...at some points actually she even manages to talk over him😆...she's more talkative than I initially thought...or maybe she's finally figured out how to get a few words in when PJ is off talking talking😆. PJ doesn't really try deliberately to dominate the IVs...woh bas uska default mode hai to start talking... but he isn't the badbola types that he hates😆...lol he'll back off and give Namita space to talk too.

But yeah their sincerity is apparent in the professional way in which they approach their characters and work...kaam ko seriously lete hain.

LOL yes it's hard to believe people can behave normally like this without any lame and faalu hang ups like most actors seem to have these days...they're all such messed up people in general😆

haha I think you mean Namita's "Typical"...but I get it, ho jaata hai confusion Meera aur Namita mein😛😆

LOL break waali hassi toh hai hi but the HIGHHH pitch he goes on when he breaks into laughter...lol it makes me laugh to hear it😆...it's a very child-like laughter.

He doesn't have a very deep voice waise, it's a regular tone in general...but still, he goes on like a supersonic high pitch when he laughs and for a second I'm taken aback ki itni high pitch awaaz nikal rahi hai is bande se😆

Waise even Namita's laughter is pretty child-like...another thing they have in common...dono bacchon ki tarhaan haste hain😆

That's a good point...I think it also comes from the power dynamics in the respective families...in the case of the Raizadas, there is only one man in the family and he is a powerful figure...probably the most successful one in the family that they all look up to even though the other two women have independent careers as well...

In the case of the Pants, the men in general are kaamchor, escapists who have barely ever stepped up to responsibility with the exception of Abhishek...as a result, the women have felt more emboldened to assert themselves, speak their minds...the matriarch - Daadi is the central figure in the family so that also decides the power dynamics.

True..that makes sense..And what's fascinating is neither Meera nor Abhishek have imbibed their "family values". Meera doesn't abide the rules that her family has set that they think that everyone in the house has to follow. Though she's grown up in that environment she believes in doing her own thing and doing what she thinks is right. Degrees matter to her family but not to her.
Same goes for Abhishek. He grew up in a house dominated by women and has seen the men sitting idly. But he learnt to work hard and become the sole bread winner.

@anu..haan Namita hi bolna tha but tum samajh gayi...genie's typos are rubbing off on me 😆

Very good points raised about the power dynamics in the two families and the fact that neither Abhi nor Meera seemed to have imbibed them. 👍🏼 also, i was thinking today (while listening to kyon yet again 😆 ), what it is that makes them both so instantly endearing and i realised that both of them are such genuinely good peole, like unke life mein problems hone ke bavjood they don't appear thoroughly messed up, they won't be unnecessarily rude to people as a justification of their tormented past and issues in life...but are inherently wonderful human beings. Secondly, the way they are so organically drawn to one another, there is no faltu ka drama or games (waise bhi they aren't game playing types-again points towards their niceness), but just genuine adoration of one another...(also the reason why Abhi's realization didn't seem out of plc 😳 they met, they became friends, they fell in love.. Simple. No unnecessary "I hate you" moments, even when they had their fights, they so easily and quickly forgave each other...conflicts mainly arose and will arise coz of people around them i suppose.

P.S. That VM is calling me now 😆

Genie's typos are one of a kind...hard to match that level of typo-ness😆

Oooh awesome you're making the VM! Yay! Looking forward to it! We need more VMs on these two :)

I might vid Jag Ghoomeya on them for the fun of it😛😆

Re: Abhi-Meera...they are just surprisingly SORTED people despite coming from families that have their own baggage and don't really understand them...that is why their relationship has developed organically without the usual faaltu drama.

@Mads: Waise, I agree with whoever mentioned it's getting hard to keep track of the BTSs given this place is now more active and the pages move more quickly.

Would it be possible to update the first page with the links to the BTSs so people can access them more easily?

I'm gonna try and make a banner for this thread too since it seems to have moved into "official AT space" now😆
