Meera-Abhishek "friendship" bond is being developed so darn sweetly. I like that they are taking time developing the friendship first rather than plunging in to the love story right away.

The fireplace scene and the torch light scenes were the highlights of the episode. Meera's so stinking adorable! Her expressions are so cute...lol props to Namita for doing those in front of camera. I wonder if it is something that she improvises on her end or does the director probe it outta her.
lol either way, Meera-emojis are so darn cute! 😛 😆

By the way, one could also over analyze that bitter drink scene in that each of them (but more so Abhi, because he is loaded with more problems) would share the "bitterness" aka their burdens with the other and then reciprocate by sharing something "sweet" or happiness and thereby balancing their lives.

Oh and it was interesting to see the spots/roles exchanged in the torch scene. Typically, you'd find the female lead on the balcony, with the male lead downstairs or across signaling her somehow. In Abhi-Meera's case, Meera's the one signaling while Abhi blushes😆. the moment with the cousins was sweet too...they all seem to share a good rapport with one another that it feels as if they are really cousins and PJ is really their quintessential bade bhaiyya!😎

@
Precap-- Ramraj and his boat load of problems! Another headache for Abhishek to resolve. Wonder if the MIA dad's got to do something with it. He is still lurking around in the dark...why? lol

That's an interesting take, Amy😆...I guess the metaphor would definitely apply...I like how a lot of their recent scenes have been about sharing each other's burdens or problems in some sense...two days back, Meera was the one lighting the fire, today he did...lol...He brought her the kaadha to help cure her from the cold...they both felt the bitterness but Abhi is so used to ignoring or denying the bitterness he faces in life, instead focusing on trying to alleviate her discomfort. But for once he's faced with a person who won't let him put himself aside...who insists on giving him as much of the sweetness that he tries to distribute among people :)

The show is surprising me pleasantly right now...but I guess I'm afraid to gush, lest I jinx it all😆

Had to gif the torch scene:

Caps from the last scene:

Oh and Amy, I agree...PJ is totally embodying the spirit of Bade Bhaiyya...as if he's actually big brother to that entire gang of cousins...lol...they all very believably look like cousins.

By the way, such a VAST difference between Meera's sister's way of chiding/ handling her younger sibling and Abhishek's way! While Rhea sounds so patronizing towards Meera like you mentioned, Abhishek way of chiding his cousins and making them realize their mistakes is in total contrast to hers!
Her and Aman seem to be made for one another! They have similar superiority complex.
it was weird to see Rhea train Meera to apologize to Aman by having her repeat her lines as if Meera has no brain of her own and that she needs to be told how to act and talk. Meera, who always seems to be chided by her sister, requests Abhishek the other day to not to scold Kapil for something which is actually wrong, while she keeps absorbing her sister's rants non stop.

Lol at Abhi the ever responsible one telling her to go to her room and sleep.Look at that eyebrow raising 😆 as if telling her don't be upto any mischief just go straight to your room and Meera agrees 😆 like a cute bacha.

I did not catch those good byes while watching😲😆

That scene basically showed how vapid Riya's brain is for all her degrees and higher education...she was trying to train Meera as if she's some pet dog who has to know when to sit and kneel or whatever...and it was so weird, at one point Riya was practicing her OWN sorry towards Sanjay too...like how dumb is this chick? So much for being an educated/independent woman😕

In b/w she was also babbling something about how Meera needs to make sure she's looking good for Aman...

Meera for all her supposed "failures", atleast attempts whatever little she can to stand up for her self-respect and individuality.

I think the biggest guilt the whole Raizada family has laid at Meera's feet is how she keeps letting them down...that is the only reason why she is absorbing all of her sisters b.s. ranting I think...because they so constantly try to ram the idea down her throat that she is an embarassment, a failure to them so she must "fix" herself.

I think she spoke up for Kapil because she's been at the receiving end of so many unfair rants from her sister...she was bringing in the perspective of a younger sibling and how they feel at constantly being scolded by their elders.

Abhishek toh mahaan hain...he can handle anyone nicely...even that d-bag Aman😆

Both aren't perfect at all (and who in reality is?) but seem to balance each other in their own little ways. If Abhishek has the strength to endure harshness in life, Meera has the optimism to look at the brighter side and make the best out of it.

LOL even I missed it the first time I watched it...only caught it the second time when I was taking caps😆

And word on Meera agreeing like a cute baccha...the interesting thing is that even though Abhi told her that she needs a friend she listens to and he has indeed turned out to be that person...he himself also listens to her all innocently from time to time too...I love the constant role reversal that happens b/w them...sometimes she'll give in to his firm requests with a child-like nod and sometimes he will give in to hers...that Meera can simultaneously be so child-like and so perceptive/wise is what really makes her endearing.

Beautifully said, Amy👏 That sums it up the best I'd say...he brings the kind of strength and solidness you can rely on while she brings the optimism that helps you find hope and new perspective...they are actually showing their traits complementing each other even better than I had hoped for *touchwood*😆

Re: song...haha since we are talking about it today, who knows they might release it tomorrow :P

That's what happened last time, no? Who knows when they are stalking this place...haha...j/k...I think they might play it fully when the romantic track starts properly I guess.
